Headwaters Park

Second time that we have been here. This is a lovely park for humans, dogs and horses. Trails are sand and grass (mown) I cannot wait to go during spring and summer months because the prairie will be alive with color. There is a separate enclosure for dogs with benches, shade and bags for poopie patrol bring water in the winter. More amenities abound including a gazebo with picnic benches, a play area w slides etc. and plenty of scenic overlooks w seating provided. It’s excellent going down but uphill on the way back. Excellent exercise!
