Wow what a big place with tons of books. And such a friendly place with great coffee.
Two sisters own this great store and they are very friendly and know a ton about the books.
You really need to go in here and you can get lost in all the well organized rooms

Wonderful place to browse. I came for one book and left with 6! Excellent selection. Nice atmosphere. Fantastic coffee!

Stopped in here the other day as we were passing thru Elgin. Sadly downtown Elgin was practically deserted, but lucky for us as we were able to park close by and browse this delightful little store with no crowding! The person working the store was very friendly and helpful. She was able to point me in the right direction of what I was looking for right away. There is a huge selection of books as well as gift items. And a cute little coffee bar too! Only thing that kept me from leaving 5 stars is that the prices were a bit high in my experience of searching out used books. But I did get several things I needed, so that was good. I hope it is more well attended during the week when people are working, it seems like a lovely spot to browse in, or sit and have a treat before heading home.
