My first visit here, I am very disappointed. My family started eating and a few minutes in I noticed my breadstick was riddled in black mold! We told the cashier’s which got us the manager after worrying about whose register was getting a voided transaction. The one stated«i always get the voids!» The manager acted like it has happened before and wasn’t very sympathetic to our having found and eaten this food!

An ok small servings buffet. If you go on seafood night or a holiday, expect to pay a lot and if you aren’t going to be eating the seafood, don’t go, it’s a waste of money. If it is a regular night, it might be ok, not sure since I went on a holiday. If the food was the same minus the crab legs, I would say it’s ok to go. If the food is totally different on a regular night I would say don’t go. I liked that they had some dim sum, the shrimp ones were great the first time I had them and super salty the second time. There is Orange Juice next to the Coke Free Style Machine(The one that lets you mix and match coke products), it’s a bit hard to see the label so look for it in a big black dispenser. Pork Chops were so dry we couldn’t cut it with a knife, even the steak knife we got didn’t work. I did enjoy the risotto though, creamy and decently flavorful. The salad bar was a good thought in making exciting salads but poorly executed since they weren’t that good and there aren’t a lot of individual ingredients I could use to customize things. The roast beef is pretty cooked, I prefer things pink or red so I didn’t enjoy that much. The deserts are ok. They also have this 90 minute eating time limit but it took 15 minutes to seat us. They ended up not enforcing it as far as i could tell since people that came before us stayed until about the time we left and we left like 30 minutes after the 90 minutes so maybe they only enforce it when they are busy or seeing you chow down on crab legs non stop? Not sure, but I don’t like the pressure I felt with a clock ticking even if it’s not enforced.

It is such a hit or miss buffet. At times it is great, lots of options and tons of food but unfortunately that is only the very busy times. If you come here during the week its almost not worth it. Hardly any food, choices or service. Or the food has been out on warming trays for so long its just like rubber. But on a busy night/weekend? Tons of hot food, everyone in a good mood, crab legs galore and lots of choices. The stir fry was always my go to still. They make your to order, but they changed the beef and it is now mystery meat. Go with the chicken or scallops.

It’s very good food but it’s a very expensive buffet for the area. We are in Elgin not Vegas… We’ve eaten there only a few times but I liked the old buffet better. I wish they would change it back to the one that was there before. And that 90 minute thing makes you feel like a child that’s not how you relax at a meal. They also sat two people next two us that we could pretty much touch elbows with at a long table. They were eating with no manners and talking so loud we had to yell to talk to each other. The seating is not the greatest.

Not worth the over $ 30 price. The best food was the expresso gelato and coconut gelato. The other desserts were good. The pork chop and chicken were dry. Not much variety. The food that was edible didn’t have good flavor. The atmosphere was good around. Not impressed!

Bring back the old buffet! Much better than Indulge Buffet, with in my opinion is close to having nothing to eat. The beef at the carving station is ALWAYS grizzly and very tuff to chew. Salad station is minimal at best now, like I said have to actually look for something to eat. Not worth the cost.

My family and I have gone to this particular buffet several times in the past and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Its been awhile and we went today. It was horrible. I found two strands of hair in the fried rice. The mashed potatoes were sour. Generally, the food was either bland or oversalted. The salad was even terrible. Wilted and old lettuce and spinach leaves. etc. This buffet used to be great and delicious, now it’s a place to avoid eating at.

This casino is a continuous disappointment, take your money elsewhere. So this review is about the buffet, I get some comps from all the money I donate to the casino, they offer a buffet. So I go to the buffet on my birthday for a lobster feast. Its a long line at 630 so I go and offer the casino my money until 8 pm when I take a break for the buffet. They have an employee standing there saying the line is closed??? Its an hour before closing, and I came there for a birthday feast. I went back in and grabbed my 200 back off the craps table– This casino sux.

It’s all you can eat snow crab legs on Friday and Saturday night. The crab legs were pretty good last night but sometimes they are salty and small. The buffet consists of a variety of food. Chinese food, Mexican food, sushi, pizza, Brazilian, and more. There is a lot of different desserts too. Overall this place is pretty good it’s around $ 30 a person but the only thing is any children over 2 years old is full price(I deducted a star for that.) If it was just rating for the food I would give it 4 stars.

Interesting place. I decided to try it since I was here at Grand Victoria to see Huey Lewis & the News and Gin Blossoms concert. I thought u can’t go wrong with a buffet right? Oh yes u can. First of all dinner is served from 4−9pm, which is cool. Waited in line for 15 mins. Not bad for a Sunday. The server thought I was part of the Mexican party ahead of me even though the receipt stated party of 2(???). Another host asked her if she needed help, which I told her yes she did and the new host sat me & my partner. The buffet was $ 20.99 per person and we were told we had 90 mins to eat. I jokingly asked the host would they kick us out or will someone tell us. She laughed. ??? I don’t think anything was funny; I actually wanted to know. The food selections were decent. Some were bland or tasteless all together. My suggestion would be to only use a spoonful serving to see if u actually like the item. One of the pastas in a bowl taste like watered down Alfredo sauce. The fried chicken was tasteless, u do better going to your local grocery store’s hot kitchen section. The bus boys asked me 11 times in 90 mins is everything ok. What the hell could not be ok? U are given me 90 to get my food, sit down, chew, swallow whole pieces of food so I won’t be embarrassed when u tell me time’s up, get your butt out of here. In summary, I won’t be back even if I get the free buffet coupon.

Not nearly as good as buffets in Vegas. Just think Golden Corral with fancy plating and fancy seasonings. The food is okay but the price is not. Never have I felt like I have gotten my money’s worth.

I’ve been there several times. It’s a pretty good buffet(the wait staff is great) although it has a few problems: — the plates they put out are right from the dishwasher and are so hot you burn your hands on them when you hold them. — the plastic cups they use always look dirty. — they no longer provide paper napkins. — several dishes in the buffet each day are not marked. — their crab is often too salty. They don’t prepare it consistently. — the scallops aren’t fresh.

The«scallops» in the stir fry tasted off, the texture was funny. I’m pretty sure those were fish balls(ground up fish mixed with flour/seasoning) and not actual scallops!

They expect you to pay $ 32 per person with a 90 minute done in experience. What? That is unprofessional and it’s obvious that all they care about is the money rather than the customer’s experience.

Not all of the items are quality, but go for the unlimited crab legs and stir fry. Food– First of all, most of the items here aren’t very quality. The thing that makes this place so great is the unlimited crab legs. YUUUUMMMM! Plus the stir fry station is just as good as big bowl and stir crazy and you can get it unlimited. Usually when you go to a restaurant you get scallops and you get tiny shriveled up balls of mucus. These are huge hardcore scallops for people who actually want to be full when their done eating. They also have pretty much every soda drink you could think of, including my personal fav, gold peak iced tea. Service– Staff is nice and takes away finished plates frequently.

Hmmmm 37 $ for dinner… little too pricey. friday with a long wait. a little too noisy. the hostess that brought us to the table was great that she even consented to letting us choose our table. now lets start. Server-its a buffet but it take a long time to remove our used plates, that we had to use the other dirty table for it. He was kind enough to chat with the other table that speaks his language, but failed to dollow up on his other customers. Clam chowder was good. soft clams not gritty. Steamed crab legs-overcooked. I opted for the cold crab legs. Short ribs-soft and sauce was flavorful. Brazilian steak-bland. Sushi-needs more choices and nori a bit more fresh please. It was already chewy. For deserts. Loved the crêpe but the parfait was disappointing. and I had to eat it last and killed my loving the deserts. Staff behind the lines were great! Cleaning after messy customers asap, accomdating(except the lady that serves the steamed crabs, too busy talking to another staff). one of the staff that was cleaning even pulled my chair, he was a gentleman. All in all, average… better to come here if you have the crab legs and lobster cravings so it will be worth the amount you paid for.

I was coerced into going here for lunch — which was more like an early dinner. I can tell you I will not be back. Two items mislabeled–(i.e. something labeled avocado and egg actually had FISH in it). and nothing really stood out. The Captn Crunch french toast didnt even taste like the worst regular french toast I had. Honest– the highlight of my meal was the ice cold milk. I cannot tell you one thing I had that stood out as remarkable. Don’t waste your time.

My dad had 2 free dinner buffets coupons from Indulge. Waiting until the day it expires, he invited me to go. At first, I was skeptical. Let’s face it, it’s in a casino. Buffets are kind of gross. All you can eat is less appealing than ordering something from a menu. My dad was insistent we go early and apparently arriving at 4:10pm wasn’t early enough. The line was relatively long but understandable. People eat like they haven’t been fed for days. I started with the salad bar. It is standard, modest and fresh. My timing to grab crab legs was perfect. First in line while a new batch arrived. I stuck out 2 plates and the worker bee hesitated. Based upon her expression, she was disgusted with me. I was worried I wouldn’t get my monies worth if I paid $ 30 for the same experience. It turns out, the amount of crab legs I indulged upon is far less expensive than dining out at any seafood restaurant. I told this to my boyfriend. Even though he’s not a gambler and a hater for all buffets, he said my review makes it worth for him to pay the debt.

My family used to go to QVC’s buffet for the crab legs back when I was in middle/high school. So I was interested in trying it out after the renovations & name-change. We got there on Friday, their seafood night($ 29.99), but the line was extremely long, reaching the casino’s front entrance doors. We left and returned on a Saturday, their prime rib night($ 24.99). There was still a line maybe 30 people deep and we waited about 30 – 45 mins before being seated. The food was lackluster. Nothing stood out. The lobster mac & cheese was overcooked and not cheesy. The desserts were pretty to look at, but bad in taste. The kahlua cake was stale. No reason to return. Lunch(Mon-Sat) — $ 14.99 Sunday brunch — $ 19.99 Dinner(Sun-Thu) — $ 18.99 Seafood night(Fri) — $ 29.99 Prime rib night(Sat) — $ 24.99
