I’ve been a regular here for about a year and I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place. Unlike the other plasma centers in the area, this one is generally never crowded, and I can usually stroll in and get into processing right away. The staff has always been friendly, a few of them even know me now due to my frequent visiting. Everything about this center is clean and professional. The other two closest plasma clinics in Aurora and Melrose Park are disgusting compared to this joint, I’d recommend it any day. Best point: They pay more than the other plasma clinics do.

Imagine this, you step into a cold building. The front desk stares at you — you are unsure what to do. So you sign in to donate some plasma and are brought into a private screening room. The lady giving you all the necessary information could be nicer, but she sends you off to get checked out by the medical staff. The medical staff treats you as if you are a AIDS ridden, heroin abusing hobo looking to score some money for some rocks. After you tell them things like location of piercings and other such info they hand your file over to someone else. I was really happy that this girl who obviously couldn’t take care of her own piercings(Her nose piercing was red and infected looking), was not the phlebotomist that was going to stick me with a needle. I was unhappy that she was discussing her disapproval of my piercings with her coworkers who were giving me sideways glances. But who cares about the privacy of my medical records right? Pros: They give you money(25 first visit, 35 second, 20 after that) Cons: They treat you like the scum of the earth.
