This place is unsanitary. I went in today for the first time to get a gel manicure($ 25). After sitting down in a somewhat dirty chair(strands of hair and little specks of debris) the manicurist took out two nail filers. The rectangular buffer block looked like it was on its last leg. It was so worn and I could see the streaks from being used on previous clients, same for the thin filer. I have no idea why I didn’t say something but I just let her use it on me. After filing my nails she had me dip my hands in this slightly soapy water in a clear glass bowl. The bowl had these white stains? On them. Think of dried toothpaste. Then comes out the cuticle cutters and the metal tools. I really should have gotten up and walked out. The tools were mixed in a plastic container that also had the nail polishes that are used to paint designs. I honestly can’t tell you the last time they were cleaned. But it was obviously not clean. At other nail salons I’ve been to they always use a new file per customer and the tools are stored in those UV? Boxes that kills the bacteria on the tools when not in use. I only had my cuticles pushed back. Lady begins painting my nails. She isn’t bad, I like how my nails came out, but I do have to add that the nail polish seemed a bit old because it was kind of gummy when she was taking the nail brush out the bottle. Surprisingly the place was packed.

By far one of THE best nail places in Elizabeth however unless you are there first thing during the week or midday prepare to wait a crazy amount of time. Tommy is fantastic and so is Jenny but you can wait up to 2 hours for a fill. I found the pedicures lacked a lot… pretty much a factory… basic get in get out. If you want great nails tho and have patience by all means give them a shot

I’ve gone to this place for a couple years now, and the staff doesn’t really talk much but they are nice, atleast the Spanish girls, there sweet and I love getting my eyebrows and my mani and pedi by a lady named«Wendy» she is such a sweetheart, I love the colors, maybe they need new ones, and I love the gel colors even though there more expensive than the others I like this place, so try it, they did new décor and it’s looking really nice, I wouldn’t think about going anywhere else, try it(:

Very busy… lots of people here at all times. You have to wait quite a bit to get in but they do take walk-ins. Staff is pretty non-communicative, as far as I’ve experienced. Mostly talking to each other in Vietnamese and completely disregarding that you are the human whose hands they are manicuring. I came in with 3 people – my friend and I got crystal nails(basically acrylics) and my other friend got gels. For both myself and my friend with the gel, the manicurists refused to paint our nails down or even close to the cuticle. Even after asking if they could paint farther, they said, «No it won’t look good» and simply refused… In addition, my manicurist broke my pinky nail(the acrylic one), attempted to superglue it back together and almost gave me a totally crooked nail until I said something. Then he fought me and said it was fine until I insisted, and he reluctantly gave me a new nail… not really ideal. It’s still kind of crooked because he didn’t take the gel off completely. In the end, I guess you get what you pay for. Crystal and gel both cost $ 25 each, which is really inexpensive. But I won’t come back unless I need something cheap.
