V-Cuisine

Delicious! Listen, if you want good food in a great atmosphere then you need to be at V– Cuisine. I hate to admit this but some West Indian and/​or Haitian restaurants is only good for take out. Vcuisine has beautiful décor and it’s very warm and inviting. You will hear a variety of music, laughter fron patrons and you will meet the chef. He comes out to talk to you to find out about your meal. You will want to stay and visit every chance you get! On the apptiezers side of the menu I had the empandas, barbecue chicken, beet salad and my favorite Legume starter. Very very very good. As a main course — I had several dishes. My favorite is rice with turkey. I’ve brought friends and some people from church and they want to go every Sunday. I can’t I will be as big as a house (that’s how greedy I am)! If you are ever in the Elizabeth area, Visit them! Bring your favorite bottle of wine too. It is also a BYOB or you can order one of thier drinks.

I went there because I purchased a Groupon. It was on my birthday and they made me feel like a princess. The food was excellent, the owners were friendly and nice. The was clean and you could see the kitchen. When I called to make a reservation, he told me that they don’t accept groupon on Sundays. But when I told him that it was my birthday he made an exeption, which I really appreciated. I really wanted to use my voucher before it expired lol. Overall, I had a great experience and I will definitely go back.

The food here is amazing, I was in food heaven. Great atmosphere, with friendly staff and very clean. We will definitely be coming back again.

I love when new local businesses open up in Elizabeth, NJ, so when a friend told me about V-​Cuisine had to go and try. We went there for lunch, and had the sampler appetizer, oxtail entrée, and bread pudding dessert. The food was AMAZING! The atmosphere was perfect — clean, reggae music was playing, good conversation — nice break from the office. Definitely agree with the other Unilocaler; nice place for a date night ^_^
