There are no words for how wonderful I think this man is. I have been going to his practice for twenty years. He has seen me through three pregnancies, one miscarriage, multiple problems, and now a hysterectomy. He even delivered my brother. He is formost kind, extremely knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. I am willing to change all my doctors but NEVER this one.

I have finally found a gynecologist! I’m 32! As a larger sized woman, and as a lesbian, finding a gyne who wasn’t condescending about my weight or negative about my sexuality as well as non-​understanding about my gender disphoria has been really really hard, to the point where I go for a pap smear at a woman’s clinic every 5 years or so and that visit is one I have mentally brace myself for. With a recent issue, they were able to get me in quickly. Doc was kind, apologized at the ouchy parts of the exam, engaged in dialogue throughout about my condition and listened to my concerns. He was very understanding about my non-​insurance status. His practice was very busy and they squeezed me in between other people so I knew that I was going to be there for awhile and came adequately prepared with grading. Based on the amount of people in his office, he’s probably always running late, but for the care I received, I am totally fine with that. I’ve struggled my entire adult life to find a gyne who didn’t leave me ashamed of my body and I have finally found one!

I’ve had two children. One was born in Masonic and the other born at Alexian Brothers. I was going to Dr Mruz for my OB visits and I can say that I have NEVER had a problem with them. They were always able to take me in when I was worried about my pregnancy. He delivered my baby at Alexian Brothers and I must say that he was very accomodating and very nice. I recommend him to anyone who is pregnant!

I am in my late 20’s and I have been going to Dr. Mruz for about 8 years now maybe, at the Elk Grove location in Alexian Brothers Hospital. I have never had a bad experience at this office. The receptionists are nothing but accomodating. The nurses are great, if you call they always get back to you extremely fast, they are extremely personable too. As far as Dr. Mruz goes, he has a good bedside manner, and is very timely which I like– because really who wants to be on that table for any longer than necessary. He is extremly knowledgeable, has a lot of years of experience and is always willing to answer any questions that I have.
