Disappointing. I honestly wished I would of read the Unilocal reviews before coming here. First off, I do have to say that the office is clean and the staff are super friendly. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill from here. The doctor seemed nice but like someone else mentioned it felt like the whole process was rushed. I could barely understand him and even when I asked for clarification, he left me even more confused. While doing the exam, all doctors would normally say«1 or 2» but for whatever reason he was just like«here…or here». Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place; nice staff but the doctor doesnt seem like he knows what hes doing lol. Like my sister said who was there with me, it seemed like something out of an SNL skit.

Hardly give reviews, especially bad ones, but I have to give 1 star and not recommend for this office. I am a current patient, been to office 6+ years. It was OK every time that I have to fill paper work like new patients. This time, I came they said I do not have appointment, but I am sure I did call in, I even sent email notifiy my team when I made the appointment. Ok, I went crazy old then. Now, I have my medical I’d card, they cannot find my insurance, I told them I am with VSP, they told me I should be with iMET, either way, I do not exist anywhere. I told them the company I work for 21 years, the same company all the time I am with their office, nevertheless, I should not exist any where, even I provided my full SNN. I walked out looking silly, even after confirm with my wife my eyes insurance is VSP. She just went to check her eyes yesterday. I went to Walmart, they confirmed I am with VSP, and my co-pay is $ 30. The appointment is in two days. Sorry Paul and Jenny, such harsh review, but something needs to change for the better if you want good business.

This is my very first time having an eye exam and I’m in my mid 40s, but when you stare at a computer all day, eventually that day comes… They were extremely helpful, and made sure a new patient/customer was welcome. Dr. Kim is a very laid back and personable Doctor. His staff was very helpful in starting me in the right direction of selecting glasses for the shape of my face… They have created a longtime customer in me and my wife.

Been going here for a few years and it’s always been pleasant. Earlier this year, I got a check up and the dr.‘s wife was there. I had to order some glasses for my child as well which took a week or two. My child tried on the glasses and said they were fine, but throughout that same week was complaining that they were crooked and loose. I took the glasses back and explained to the doctors wife that they need to be tightened. She acknowledged the fact that the glasses were loose and crooked, yet blamed my child for breaking them. She verbally said«yo Keed broke glasses. Pay for new one.» I said WHAT??? Question #1: where the f*ck is good customer service? Question #2: Don’t EVER blame the customer who’s paying your bills. Do you have any sense at all? Question #3: where in the h*ll is the doctor? Oh wait… He’s sitting in the guest waiting area watching his wife attempt to fight this battle on her own. The dr ended up apologizing and the wife REFUSED to say anything, let alone apologize. All 4-years that I was a patient here, it was a 5-star… BUT… After dealing with this b*tch who barely new any English and the amount of disrespect, I’ll NEVER go back again… EVERNEVEREVERNEVEREVER!!! I ended up getting my child a new pair of glasses for free though

The staff was very friendly and I thought that this might be the place that I will continue going to. Unfortunately my experience didn’t end well. The Dr. seemed to rush through the check up. When he was going back and forth between«Do you see better with 1 or 2, etc.» he went way too fast and didn’t give me time to actually see the difference and he even answered for me by saying something like«the 3rd one right,» I thought it was my checkup. I have worn contacts for about 5 years and my prescription has only changed by .25 at a time. According to this Dr. my prescription changed by .75. I didn’t even think I needed a change in my prescription, I just went because in order to order more contacts every year I need to have my prescription renewed. I was surprised by the change but I didn’t say anything at the time. I wore the trial contacts for the rest of the day and found that I had a very strong headache and the prescription was too strong. I went back the next day and they just changed my prescription just by me telling them I thought it was too strong. I’m just thankful I was able to have my prescription corrected and I will not return to this place next year.

Excellent customer service, solid selection and the Dr. is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Office is very pleasant in Elk Grove though spoke with their Sacramento location initially who were very professional. The Dr. works out of both offices. Hours are reasonable and Saturdays are by appointment only. My examination was thorough and fairly fast and unlike some examinations the Dr was great about explaining what he did and why before he started. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They do work on most of the glasses and lenses on site, so I had my new pair in less than hour and could go back to work. They also fit and provide contact lenses too. They accept most insurance policies and will accept clients who are uninsured if you talk with them up front — they are reasonable. I had a great experience here.
