Jimboy’s Tacos

Homestyle food served here. I am a big fan of the signature Parmesan cheese on the corn tortilla tacos and the El Gordo. A beer to compliment your meal is refreshing.

«Tacos of a different ilk.» More spendy than Taco Bell, but these are not your run of the mill tacos like those you’d find at Taco Bell. They have their own fresh mex taste. Daily specials are on the menu. Rice and beans with specials. White Castle (burgers) has a slogan, «What you crave…» These are to tacos what White Castle sliders are to burgers! :)

I got the steak Tahoe burrito. It was more like a been and cheese burrito with 4 pieces of steak. Ridiculous.
Their double cheeseburger is out of this world. It should be called jimboys burgers not tacos. Lol it’s a homemade burger. I fell in love all over again. Yummy in my tummy

Very small portions for the price. Food wasn’t any better than Del taco. I would not recommend eating at his resturaunt if you want good Mexican food.

The food is very good. Still good taste. Lately I notice a big change in the new togo trays. They are half as deep. Same price, less food. I really like Jim Boys but for the price Super Taco gives you way more food and their food is just as good maybe better. Jim Boys just has better location to me. My total today was 29.00 last week for Super Taco 33.00 and I got so much food I had it for lunch and dinner. If your customer base has slipped just don’t put it all off on your Customer!

I love Jimboy’s, this location is my favorite! The staff here is very friendly and they know what my boyfriend and I want to order overtime we go in. They know us by name and always get outstanding service! If you like Mexican food you have to try Jimboy’s!

Good fresh American tacos and burritos. My favortite meal here is the Breakfast burrito. Chorizo, eggs, beans and cheese. Always hot fresh and very tasty. Not all Jimboys are the same but this place is very goof from the great service to the food!

Its all about the tacos! I love Jimboys. The food is great and the service is always very friendly.

Always on my radar when I’m in the Mexican mood, although their burgers are quite good as well if you’re not feeling so spicy. Their prices can be a little steep compared to other taquerias in the area, but obviously this hasn’t deterred me from still eating here. Sometimes you just really want a side of taco with your burger.

JImboy’s food is deliciously addictive! I love this chain, and this one is close by so my husband and I frequent there. The food is made fresh and quickly, and personally I don’t find it soggy or gross when we get our food to go. Sure, there is grease but when you order Mexican food what do you expect?
My personal favorites are the chicken taco (the meat is so tender and sweet!) and the shredded beef combo burrito. I swear the shredded beef is like a little slice of heaven! (well, that is if you eat red meat)

I kind of forgot about Jimboy’s and how good their food was until recently. The daily specials are the best deal and the Saturday deal is my favorite: a chicken and a beef taco plate.
One notable positive about the Laguna Blvd location is that the staff is great. I’m sure they are great at each location but I really like this one.

Jimboy’s is only good if you order and eat it there. I ordered Togo today and my tacos were extremely soggy when I go home. I live less than 3 miles from this location.

This location knows what customer service means… I don’t know where they found the employee named Luke but he deserves a raise… He greeted me saying hello as I walked in the door and was friendly and helpful taking my order… Just a all around pleasant employee… Customer service makes a huge difference wether you eat at a place or not… This employee sure makes a difference… I’ll be back again and again…

I have to say this is the best Jimboy’s I have been to in Sacramento. I’ve gone to all the locations from Arden, Rancho Cordova and Elk Grove. This one has ALL of the sauces laid out. Other locations may not even carry the hot hot sauce. The place is neat 95% of the time and food comes out fast. I love their beef tacos and their rice with the sauce on top. Reasonably priced. Service is always great when I go. The restaurant is big enough to feel like you’re not contained like the Rancho Cordova location.
No drive-​thru but I rather sit in and eat the food while it’s warm and fresh :)

Yesterday, I dined on 2 tacos… Yummy!
Treat yourself, go today to Jim boys you won’t be disappointed… He’ll, I might go again today cause I’m hooked on there delicious food.

Me & hubby come here often for a quick bite. We love their shrimp & fish tacos. Especially the shrimp tacos are really tasty!
We always order to go though, we haven’t dined in yet.
The workers seem nice & friendly in person & on the phone.
I’ve never tried this place before until moving to Elk Grove this year from the Bay Area. I am now a fan :)

This place is awesome. Excellent customer service. i inadvertently made a huge mess and I wanted to clean it since it was mine. The guy here insisted on cleaning it for me. That’s really nice. Greatest tacos too:)

I am a HUGE fan of Mexican cuisine and I have enjoyed eating at Jimboys since I was a little kid. This location is always very fast with service and has a large, spacious dining area with a few TVs usually tuned into sports or local news. The menu has a large variety of different selections to fit your mood, but I definitely recommend the ground beef enchiladas and the ground beef tacos as well. The seasoned ground beef is delicious and you simply can’t go wrong when ordering classic tacos!

I’m writing this review after having devoured a shredded beef super burrito and two ground beef tacos. The taste is still fresh for me, so let’s get this going:
I’m never, never, everrr going to order another burrito from Jimboy’s Tacos. Although there is a plethora of ingredients listed for the burrito, such as lettuce, sour cream, meat, guac, etc, it just tasted like the refried beans. Note: it was essentially filled with refried beans. My first bite? Refried beans! Second, third, fourth bite? Refried beans. It wasn’t until I was almost halfway through the burrito that I found some of the meat. I counted the number of olives in my burrito, too. There were five small pieces, all stuck in one end of the burrito. Ugh.
Bottom line: burrito? WHATEVER. I don’t know about the other options, but I’ll stay away from the super burrito. Thanks.
Let’s learn to stick to the basics: order the signature taco and be done with it.
But beware: the signature crispy taco can come oozing with oil.
I ordered two. One looked normal. Horray. My second taco? UH, the oil had completely soaked through the wrapper and it was oozing from the actual taco — a red orange shade of oil. I still ate it, but I think I knocked off a few years of my life.
The most redeeming quality about the tacos? the parm cheese crusted on the outside.
I’ll probably come back when I feel like eating my feelings and dying from high cholesterol and such things.

We haven’t been to Jimboys in years! Reason being, it is some greasy and unhealthy food.. .But when I saw the Groupon LOL I could not help myself!!! We can’t always be healthy!
And honestly I’m glad we went! We ordered to-​go the 12 beef taco pack for the kids, chicken taquitos for myself and Hubby got a burrito combo with a added taco. My goodness, Yes we were full and greased up! The tacos were Very tasty but yes some grease was dripping. The taquitos had chunks of chicken so they were not store bought. As for the burrito combo meal, it disappeared so fast I have assume it was great!
This location was very friendly and service was swift! Absolutely love the salsa bar! since I am a condiment Queen, I love to have options and the ability to taste All the salsa they had to offer.
I think if we remind ourselves the reason we come to Jimboys is for a greasy unhealthy but tasty meal, then we are justified in eating it! :)
