Absolutely the most incompetent clerical staff that I’ve ever dealt with in any business in my 65 years. I just left Kaiser after a number of years, with new Medicare supplemental insurance. From the first day, every single thing that they did, they messed up, requiring me to make multiple contacts to try to remedy, including improperly entered data, messed up appointment dates, not ordering prescriptions, even after two contacts with them about it. The people are friendly, just totally incompetent. If they can’t get the clerical stuff right, why should I trust their medical care?!? And there is no way to contact Mercy Medical Corporate to file a complaint, which shows that they really don’t care about customer service. Both myself and my wife have now made a hasty departure from Mercy Medical, and went to another medical group that we had used in the past, and knew were competent. If you don’t have high blood pressure when you go to this place, you sure will after trying to deal with them, and I wouldn’t trust them to fix it. Just an update… I just received a call from a Mercy Medical Quality Assurance Rep, and she was rude, wasn’t really very concerned about anything that happened, and when I told her that we had already dropped Mercy Medical and went to another medical group, she just hung up on me. I had already submitted three emails which outlined the various issues with Mercy Medical via their own messaging system, and she obviously hadn’t seen them or was a bit concerned about any of them or the issues outlined. If their quality assurance people are that bad, it’s no wonder that their other staff are so bad and not a concerned at all over patient satisfaction or the quality of their job. Every contact that I’ve had with them has left me in amazement regarding the complete lack of competence of their staff. When it’s that systemic, it obviously comes down from the corporate culture of that company. GOTOTHEMATYOUROWNRISK!!! You’ve been warned!

BEWARE of shady doctors here! I had a decent experience while actually there, but I was recently greeted a surprise bill for my appointment — a month later. when I was there, I paid the $ 20 co-pay… as usual, right? I would think so. BUT Dr. Littlewood, the Ear/Nose/Throat doctor bumbled in that day to take my vitals, check on my nose with a telescope thing, and use a little anasthesia. All the while failing to tell me that all of that would cost me a bill of $ 950. you read that right: 950DOLLARS! the whole appointment was barely a half hour! I would’ve turned down the stupid micro-telescope if I had been told beforehand that it was going to knock me out almost a grand. If he had just given a disclaimer: «Hey, this procedure will add to your bill; do you still want to go through with it?» thankfully, my insurance covered about $ 800+ of it… but I was still greeted with a bill for $ 90. the elitist gene in me is honestly hurt that Dr. Littlewood and Dignity Health would knowingly rip off a pharmacy student with their shady money-grubbing tactics(one — as almost a colleague in the same field, and two — a struggling grad student). Dignity Health: I hope you are proud. because of you, my mom cannot afford orthopedic shoes this winter. PLUS, this place is impossible to find. I made almost 4 U-turns before finding the plaza.

The office staff and doctors are always friendly. I have been coming to this office for about 2 years now — ever since my family doctor joined their group. I like the fact that I can go in on Saturdays and get my blood work done. Usually doctor visits can be frustrating, but I rarely find them running behind with my appointment time.

This facility is off of Laguna Blvd. and easy to pass if you don’t look for the small signage. It is amongst and close to other nearby medical buildings and hospitals that occupy this vicinity. These one story buildings are nestled into the landscaping and could easily go unnoticed if you didn’t know exactly where they are ahead of time. And of course, I’m one of those«she who gets lost easily» people. Driving up and down the street until«duh» there it it is right in front of me! Fortunately I made it to my appointment, being only a few minutes late! The outside of the buildings are quite plain and clinical looking. But the inside offices and reception areas are spacious and arranged comfortably. I had to go here to the occupational health department, for a follow up appointment on my hand that had previously been BBD(bit by dog). I was seen by Patricia Wallrich, PA-C. She was very nice and made me feel comfortable right away while I got over my embarrassing feelings of stress about getting lost. She had a professional, caring attitude and showed genuine concern. Precautionary radiographs were taken of my hand since one of my fingers remained stiff and swollen. The rest of my hand was healing pretty well after a week duration. Nothing abnormal was found, so I will continue antibiotics and anti-inflammatories until my next recheck appointment in a week. Now, I’m happy to return again with less stress mentally and physically, because I know how to get back here again!
