I almost hate to give a great review because I want to keep her to myself! I am 52 and have been to MANY hairstylists. Mindy is superior in knowledge, professionalism and customer service. Finding a decent stylist that ‘understands’ curly hair has been very difficult over the past 30 years. Mindy is only one of two that have ever really impressed me. I will not go to another from now on. My elderly mother was very happy with her, too! Thank you Mindy and do not ever retire or leave the area!

Mindy is wonderful. She listens to her client’s needs and wants and provides outstanding results. Not to mention her hair product line is amazing.

I just love Mindy and her products. I have natural curly hair and for years I would hate my curls. The shampoo and conditioner and the vixen are my favorites! When I run out of her stuff and use the back up shampoo and conditioners, huge difference in texture, volume and shine. I don’t trust anything else! Also i sometimes leave some of the conditioner in to give my curls more bounce!

This is the 2^nd time Mindy has done my crochet weave and I love it! She not only cares about making sure my hairstyle looks great, she’s equally concerned about making sure my natural hair is healthy. This has been a huge learning experience for both of us and I’m so glad I met her!

Mindy is absolutely amazing! I am a natural brunette who decided to go blonde this summer and got off to a rough start at another salon. When I went to Mindy, my hair was a frazzled mess with hard lines and I was terrified I was going to have to chop it all off.
She worked wonders on my hair and I was able to keep all my length. :)
She’s incredibly easy going and fun to talk to throughout the whole process. I never felt like falling asleep in her chair.

I first went to Mindy a few months ago for a bridal hair consult. Since my wedding is an elopement, I will be doing my own hair and makeup. Mindy was great at answering all my questions and giving me advice about styling, products, etc. She also advised me to wait to make any cuts until I was certain about the style I wanted to create.
Since my dress was only completed a week before, I had a short period of time to create my whole look. I texted Mindy to schedule a last-​minute appointment days before the wedding, and she found a way to fit me into her schedule. She helped me decide on a length and gave me a great cut. She’s also a knowledgeable resource for all things beauty – she even has her own product line!

Was able to get in for a cut very last minute! Very friendly & knowlegable. Great cut!

I love going to Mindy! I love the darker hair color she did on my hair. She seems to stay up to date on the latest trends with a classic polished style!
Ps. I love the conditioner she sells at the salon, too! Try it! You will love it too!

Mindy did my full highlights to perfection, she’s so helpful and nice and I love her space. It’s nice and quiet and away from loud busy salons. The one on one conversation makes you feel like your hanging with a friend!

I’m in the process of growing my hair out and was looking for a slightly updated look and a new vibrant color. Mindy was very nice, but my cut and color didn’t live up to the «five star» expectation I had based on the recommended reviews on Unilocal.
My fiancé’s hair cut should have been quite simple, but when we got home, I noticed that his sideburns were uneven by about ¾.” We did not go back to have this fixed and chose to fix it on our own, and continue to explore our options for a new salon to call home in the Sacramento area.
The location is nice if rather difficult to find. She does have her own parking lot, which is quite convenient given her location in Old Elk Grove.

I have been going to Mindy for the past few months and she is awesome. I also use her Hello Gorgeous and clay hair treatment which makes my hair nice and soft. She is very efficient and gets me in and out in no time, but she never rushes and gives my hair all the personal attention it needs. I love her split end treatment! I get it every time I see her.
She has her own parking area which is very convenient. I would definitely recommend Mindy for your hair needs.

I just can’t get over what a great job Mindy does. She really cares about her work. It is nice to find a stylist you can trust. No more stress about where to get my hair done. I am a customer for life. My hair not only looks great but also natural, thank you again Mindy!

Mindy is fantastic! I have fine hair that doesn’t do much besides lie flat or look greasy after a day without washing. She not only cut my hair to perfection and give me lots of tips and information about how I should cut it in the future, but she gave it volume that has lasted thus far (it’s warm and slightly muggy today too). Not to mention that she gave me great advice on products to use in my hair but also info on products that I can use to prevent some damage being that I am a swim coach and I am in the water a lot in the summer.
She made me feel comfortable and chit chatted a lot, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I grabbed a few of her cards because I will absolutely be sending business her way! Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience Mindy! I look forward to seeing you soon :)

Mindy is great! I’m new to the area. I’m very picky about having my hair cut and colored so it took a lot of time and research to find her and her salon. I am so happy with my results. I went from having long black hair to long blonde hair, my hair still feels great!
If you’re looking for individualized genuine attention to your hair needs you have to give Mindy a call and get into her chair!

Nearly a year ago I was in search of a good stylist that used quality products. Elk Grove water is really hard on my hair, I didn’t need any added damage. I found a salon that could see me the same day. I went in, held my breath and hoped for the best. My husband has to live with hearing me complain on a daily basis for at least two weeks when I have a bad cut. I am sure he was holding his breath as well.
Anyway, Mindy was the stylist and she did a great job. She listened to my concerns and made sure she understood what I was looking for. She is very personable and energetic. I walked out very happy and have been going back to her ever since. If you are in need of a good colorist/​styalist, she is a sure bet.

My daughter found this stylist and I couldn’t believe how unbelievably awesome her hair looked so I booked an appointment with Mindy (having had the same so-​so stylist for years I knew there had to be better). So… I just went to Mindy for the first time yesterday and I can’t believe how awesome my hair looks! The color is great, the cut is perfect and shines (I haven’t seen that in my hair for sooo long).
It was so refreshing for me to FINALLY find someone as talented as she; she knows what she’s doing, knows all about products and suggestions to get your hair healthier and achieve what you want. I’ve been a blonde for years and so dissatisfied with more than one salon in Elk Grove, I am so so relieved to have finally found someone with her skills! So, if you’re tired of just «getting by» with someone that does an «okay» job and you want better, this is where you should go!
