The people were super friendly, but it is not what I had expected. We have a 1 year old high energy puppy. I would not recommend for any high energy dogs. They do offer swimming but start to finish that whole thing is about 40 minutes. I thought she would have the opportunity to play with other dogs, but they do not offer that here. More of a traditional boarding facility. That might be fine for some dogs, but if you have an active dog, I would go somewhere else.

We have four little dogs and occasionally plan short get-​aways without them! It is always difficult to find a pet care (or kennel) facility where we feel that our pets will be cared for as if we were there with them. Bokhara is such a place! The individuality with which Shen and the other staff at Bokhara care for our dogs is apparent in their happiness when we return to pick them up, and from the comments that Sher and her staff have when we come in! This is truly «as good as it gets» when it comes to having your great little dogs taken care of!
