We have been eating here for years. Jack our waiter is the best and has become more a friend than a waiter. Owners and rest of staff have also been friendly. Food has always been great, never been disappointed.

Stopped in for lunch Sunday and always appreciate the fact that you can still get very affordable lunch specials on Sunday. The food is good Chinese food and they have sushi(which we never tried). I would like to give this a fourth star, but I didn’t for these two reasons. 1) my son does not like egg rolls and asked if he could substitute anything for it and was told no. It would be nice if like at other nearby Chinese place you could get crab rangoons or some other option than egg rolls. 2) the service was pretty slow. I will say there were two fairly large parties trying to leave as we arrived, but it took a lot longer than normal to get our order in. And we never got any water refills offered until all of our food was gone. Good thing my son does not drink much so we all shared his. Nothing that would keep us from coming back, hopefully I can re-rate this higher next time.

This is a good Chinese restaurant, one of my favorites here in Elkhart. The crispy Almond Chicken and the teriyaki are my favorites. They have really good egg Drop Soup. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant, they never are really busy, people are missing out. We’ve eaten several times. We like the waiter Jack, he’s a funny guy. Makes the experience better, you can’t miss him.

Always good food every time we come. Food always comes out super fast but fresh and hot. Ordered pot stickers, house special lo mein, sesame chicken and princess and dragon(chicken and shrimp spicy). All with fried rice. All very good. Princess and dragon wasn’t as spicy as we had hoped. Will always come back when in the area.

Stopped for dinner on a family road trip, picked it because of Unilocal reviews. We arrived about 20 min before they closed and almost didn’t go in because the outside isn’t exactly nice. Very glad we went in. The interior was surprisingly nice, the owner Kenny was awesome and great with our young kids, and the food was delicious.

Food is good but the prices are outrageous for the quantity of food i spent 30 $ worth of food in small sized containers seemed more like a 20 $ value

This place is great! Ask for Jack. He was a music teacher back in Japan and plays the pan flute for birthdays.

The original! The best chinese food in Elkhart County! Nappanee Street is good too and if you like sushi this is the place to go.

I visited because the person I went with really wanted to. I wouldn’t go back. Service was speedy, which was nice on one hand, but also it’s nice to have enough time to get your full order out before the waiter runs away. Food was less fresh than other places. I would much rather spend the same amount at Valley Restaurant in Granger and get fresher ingredients.

This is some of the best Asian cuisine I’ve ever had, and most definitely the best in town. We ordered carry out. The rice is cooked to perfection! I got the seafood delight and I could not believe my tastebuds! The shrimp, scallops, peas, and carrots were huge. The sauce was superb. My husband got the General Tso’s chicken which was very meaty and seasoned just right, not too much, and the right amount of sauce. On top of the meal being stupendous, the price can’t be beat! Very affordable! They even threw in an extra egg roll. New favorite place to carry out!

Best Chinese food in the area. Very reasonable prices during lunch, good sizes portions. Food is always great tasting and served hot. Service is great, always.

I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s not a horrible place for Chinese food, but I can’t give it more than three stars because it’s not the best Chinese food I’ve had and I just wasn’t impressed. Even though the food seems to be average, the service is very friendly and inviting. Overall, it’s not a place I would avoid recommending, it’s just not somewhere I will find myself going often.

I have dined at this restraint multiple times. I really enjoy the service. Nice, friendly people who attend to your needs. They have a waiter named jack. He is very inviting and shares stories(I find that unique and refreshing) I would like to say I normally am not a huge fan of Chinese cuisine, but this place is the exception. This restaurants is in my top ten restaurants. I enjoy the tso’s chicken. It has a crisp, sweet orange flavor. The schezwan beef is delicious as well. I like the mix of savory and spicy in a rich brown sauce. We always get the pot stickers as an appetizer. The ginger sauce is second to none. I highly recommend.

Hands down the best Americanized Chinese food in existence. I live in Indy and nothing compares to them. Every time I go to visit my parents, we always make a point to go there. The owners are absolutely amazing.

It’s fine for what it is. The owners are really nice and the restaurant has a loyal following. Real Chinese. No it is not. Good Americanize Chinese. Depends on your standards. Americanized Chinese food can be good in its own right. This stuff is fine. I suspect if you really wanted something special, asked in advance, and paid beyond the lunch menu price(who can live earning $ 5 on lunches anyway), you may find something more satisfying. If you want something slightly more authentic, get jjampong. It is… slightly more authentic.

My Partner and I love this place so much it is the only Chinese restaurant we ever go to. My partner lives in South Bend and I live in Chicago, we go every time I’m in town! The main waiter, Jack, even has our order memorized and is always entertaining. The family that owns the restaurant is so sweet and stop by our table to chat when we come in. The food is amazing! I grew up in an area with a lot of great Chinese restaurants and this place reminds me so much of home while also giving you a one of a kind experience. I highly recommend their seafood items and the wonton soup! My partner also loves the Crispy Mandarin Beef.

Everything I have had here was excellent, but the sushi is definitely the best in the area. Staff is very friendly and often lunchtime diners are treated to live ethic music! Such a wonderful lunch spot.

I was unsure when we pulled up because a ‘hole in the wall” can be either really amazing food, or not so much. However, on the recommendation of a friend I gave it a shot and was very impressed with both the service and food. I travel all over and will make sure this is on the menu on another trip to the Michiana area.
