Positive is its not expensive. Overall not impressed. Small. Mostly fried food. Had grilled shrimp. One wasn’t cooked through. Don’t recommend unless you just need a quick meal and don’t want to spend money on it.

Haven’t been here in a few years as it used to be a smoking establishment, but decided to stop in with a friend to grab a sandwich and a beer to catch up. I ordered an Italian meatball sandwich. It was literally 2 meatballs sliced in two and placed on bread with sauce and cheese. Skimpy in my opinion for $ 7.95. Fries are an extra $ 2.95. Basically I paid $ 11 for an average sandwich. More bread than meatballs. Ordered a large Amber Bock on draft for $ 4 which I consider reasonable. Location is in this places favor for all the Simonton Lake people. Pete’s used to be good value for bar food. Good bands and a fun watering hole. I won’t make the drive out for this place even if it is locally-owned. Food is just okay. If you don’t mind spending money on basic food, this is your spot. Not me. Better value can be found in the area. *Merle pay attention.

The lake fish is the best thing here. Also enjoyed the fries. The salad was just so-so. Next time I will try the coleslaw. I had both the perch and bluegill. It’s nice and looks locally owned.

Very friendly and attentive service. Small and clean place. Had the perch, which was fired nicely, with a side of broasted potatoes. Made for a very beige plate.

Nothing fancy nothing good either. Ordered pizza — the dough was still dough. Not impressed won’t go back and we live on Simonton lake

The thing that really stands out at this place is the wait staff. They are excellent and very friendly. The food is hot and good quality. And the prices are very affordable!
Oh and before I forget be sure to sit outside! The reason? THE CHAIRS! Trust me on this one. Most comfortable chairs ever!

Stopped in after driving to Elkhart from Chicago, $ 2.50 cheeseburger specials on Tuesday night! Hand pattied burgers, not frozen food service burgers, served hot with great fries and ICE cold beer! The food was great, and the service even better! To top it all off… Tara the bartender is cute as a button and very friendly! An absolute must if u want a great meal at a great price!
