I will not be going back. I went in to get my throat checked and felt like I never get a thorough exam. I ended up going to another doctor, and getting a second opinion. The Botox that I bought only lasted a few weeks.

Last year I decided to get a second opinion regarding my sinus/deviated septum problems here in Delaware. I made an appointment with Dr. Martini as he is also an ENT. Oh boy what a mistake. A $ 16,000.00 +(that is SIXTEENTHOUSAND dollars) mistake. When I first called I asked if he was participating in Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The receptionist said yes. Well, off I go to be seen and then next thing I know, I am buying allergy drops($ 250.00) because it was recommended by Martini to take them before surgery«to help prevent polyps from growing back» and having surgery to remove massive polyps and to straighten out my septum. Long story short, I am still having terrible problems with my sinus’s, and the kicker? He was not a preferred provider,(he used to be, then he wasn’t, and now he is.) so their office failed to call me to tell me that he fell off the list and therefore I am on the hook to pay for ALLOFIT. What??? Are you kidding me? Well, apparently, I am NOT the only one. There are others… lots of them. This is just horrible and my only recourse is to try to get BC/BS to appeal their decision. This is making me sick(er) and I don’t know what to do. Also, I just found out that a woman DIED under his care! Read it. I wish someone could help us. We don’t have that kind of money.

Ok. Years ago when I was visiting Elkton, I used Dr. Martini(as he was starting out) for a botox treatement. The staff was incredibly friendly and I felt very comfortable with him and the work, though not exceptional was definitely acceptable and I was satisfied with the results. Over the years I have tried to schedule with him again but they never seemed to have space for me. So I move back to Maryand two years ago and for TWOYEARS, I call about once every two months to try to schedule another botox treatment and every single time(I would say 20 calls in total over two years) they could not find a time for me. Now out of 20 calls, on about 7 of them, I was simply disconnected. I have several friends who have complained to me about the same treatement but I do try to look past one bad apple on a staff if the Doctor himself is worth it. I would call back and be put on hold for up to 10 minutes at a time and be disconnected again. I would call back and nobody would pick the phone up. SO– Im heading to Maryland this week again and decide to try once more. Someone picks up, Im incredibly friendly as I always am and explain that this time Im calling with much more notice and am hoping to get in with the Doc. I also have worked my entire life in Massage therapy, esthetics and chiropractid offices– I am well aware how important it is to have a friendly and helpful staff to maintain good relations with the patients. A very snotty sounding young woman asks if I have been there and I tell her before he had his actual spa and was working solo I saw him years back and she says rudely, «So that would be a no, you are not a patient here.» Im used to the cold shoulder by now so I laugh it off and tell her that I am not currently a patient but that yes I have seen him in the past and request an appointment on any day this coming week. She puts me on hold and holding true to the usual experience I am disconnected once again after about 10 minutes on hold. I call back and when she answers again, and it is the same snotty girl, I say very friendly, «Hey, we were disconnected and Im just calling back to try to schedule with he Doctor». She responds in a very very rude and snotty tone, «UM…who is we.» Now see, this is always my thing… customer service. I truly am, like, the most congenial and nicest peron ever. Wherever I go I am pretty much overnice to peope because I just want anyone who comes in contact wth me to have a nice day! However, this girl was really rude and unkind. It was clearly the SAME receptionist and he clearly knew I had just spoken to her but she decided to be the bitch squad once again even when I am being so freaking friendly when I don’t NEED to be. SHE should be apologizing that I was hung up on, yet again. So when she said, «Who is we», I gently said, «Listen, over a two year period I have repeatedly called trying to get into see the doctor and half of the time I am disconnected yet I keep calling back and trying to get in with him. You just spoke to me, you know who I am lol so can you please let me know if this week works at all for an appointment?» After a short pause she says in a stone cold voice, «I ASKEDYOUWHOYOUAREAND I EXPECTANANSWER, ITSNOTMYPROBLEMIFYOUWEREDISCONNECTEDMAAMIMJUSTTRYINGTOFINDOUTWHOYOUARE.» So, I give up, honestly, the Doctor himself does good work but his staff, this one young woman in particular, is incredibly difficult to work with, rude and seems to have some strange idea that she is above others. REALLY? In ELKTONMD you think you are above everyone else because you are making minimum wage for a doctor? HAHHHAHAHHA. So I just said, well… Ive reached my limit, this is the 20th time I have called, the 10th time ive been disconnected and the 19th time you have been extremely condenscending to me so you have lost my business, goodbye and good luck. To which she replies, «whatever» and hangs up the phone. Dear Doctor Martini~ your one bad apple on your staff is ruining you business and I really thought you were a wonderful Doctor… but if people cannot get past the bitch squad, how can they use your services? Food for thought…

Having a background in Esthetics and a good friend who is a medical esthetician practicing Exilis Elite in another state, I heard great things about Exilis. I had ONE treatment in Naples Florida and then wanted to get a series. At the time I lived in DE, and Elkton MD wasn’t too far away. I found Replenish. My friend and the esthetician in Naples said that I wouldn’t need too many treatments. I called Replenish and even though had a rather annoying phone conversation with a very cold concierge, I decided to come in as I couldn’t find anyone else doing the services near me. I came to Replenish and was told that I needed at least 5 more. Dr. Martini suggested LIPO —I’m 5’4″ and weigh 122lbs. I said, NO! I bought the package of Exilis —reluctantly as it was very expensive. I followed a strict diet and worked out daily. I was told to come in once every 2 weeks but sometimes was booked once per week. My friend out of state flipped out and said that the treatments once per week were way too aggressive. The esthetician in Naples also told me that treatments were good at the frequency of once per month. I called Replenish to space my appointments out– again with an unfriendly voice on the other end and a terrible phone connection, to which my phone was blamed. I wasn’t seeing any result and getting nervous. Ultimately I did not see any change and have skin discoloration in the shape of the exiles device head. I do use essential oils but only saw discoloration once from Bergamont in the shape of drops that I applied directly to my skin which have since disappeared. I have not been using essential oils on my stomach area. In addition to the Exilis elite disappointment, I wanted to try Botox for the second time. The first time I had amazing, natural looking results with an Dr in Rehobath beach(name given upon request). I know that my budget was small and that apparently I didn’t need a lot to get a smooth forehead. I was told at Replenish, however that the $ 150 that I was charged the first time was unheard of and that that amount of Botox would do absolutely nothing. I wanted results… so I listened to Dr. David V. Martini’s suggestion to do almost $ 600 worth of Botox. Then, the practitioner came in an convinced me that Botox is being phased out and that Xeomin was the way to go. I didn’t want to try some random Botox spinoff but asked me friend in a panic via text and she said she hadn’t heard of it. I was again nervous. The woman injected me with so much Xeomin, not Botox… I ultimately had been bated into trying Xeomin because of a $ 50 rebate card. I had a persistent headache for 6 solid days with no relief. My head felt like it never had before, like it was dead. In addition to the feeling of a throbbing headache and horrible sensation, my face was so frozen that many people commented on my new«look.» Essentially I looked like hell. I was so embarrassed by this as an esthetician. And I was out almost $ 600. When I smiled the bottom half of my face lifted and the told half didn’t making my face look so unnatural that I was mortified. Upon attempting to contact Replenish, with the constant poor concierge service and scheduling issues, I became regretful that I ever went to Replenish. I went in to discuss these issues and was brushed off and told to come back in 6 months for an evaluation??? Evaluation of what! I wanted my $ back. –over $ 2000 total including the Exilis. Spare yourself, don’t go! ZEROSTARS
