Whimsical shopping at its best! If you’re looking for something specific, the folks at the counter proved to be very helpful — or enjoy a fun hunt through this 3-floor treasure chest!

A magical fairy wonderland. There are three floors so don’t miss the stairs up. I did my first time and on my second I saw what I had missed. Wonderful décor and stuffed to the gills!

This is a great shop that anyone visiting Ellicott City should pop into. A magical fairy and antique store, the three levels can keep you occupied for hours just trying to take everything in. The service is so-so depending on who is working there, but overall okay and not much to complain about. Some of the items are a bit pricey, especially all the vintage clothes. Awesome store, highly recommended!

Unique and more magical than anything you’ve ever experienced. Faeries, vintage clothing, memorabilia, costumes, statues, fountains, incense, garden gnomes and everything else you might associate with fantasy. It’s dusty, cluttered and altogether lovely, like a stone-welled, three-story attic full of otherworldly treasures. As others mentioned, it’s the ideal dreamscape for any Renaissance Festival enthusiast.

This place goes on forever. The Bubbleman is neat to watch. The place is fill full of anything you can think of. It has 3 floors. Each one is different. A great place to visit.

My daughter wanted to buy the last of a particular doll that was marked $ 25 the lady at the register said it was $ 28 and argued she did not have to give it to me for the tagged price. Did in the end, but argued at me the whole time that she did not have to do it. After I left the store she came after me and asked me not to come back… if u feel the need to go there double check the price before u decide to get something they may not want to give u the price it is marked. Very strange sense of customer service. I wouldn’t have gone back anyhow because I believe the price u should pay is the price marked. Anywhere I have ever worked believed in the same philosophy. I guess they don’t feel the same way!

In the world of big chain stores and cookie cutter shopping plaza, it is so refreshing to visit this store. Shopping here is truly an experience. I entered into a world filled with fairies, whimsical and adorable gifts, Christmas decors, mardi gras masks, Halloweens, and world of wonder for little girls and even for me. If you want to impress a niece or daughter or ladies, this is the place. They have three stories that you can venture into and submerge yourself into the wonderland. If I were the owner, I would have spare some space upstairs for birthday party and have my staff dressing up as fairies.

Want to make your daughter(or son) that loves fairies, Harry Potter and dress-up go nuts? Then take them to The Forget-Me-Not Factory. This place has fairy figurines, costumes, wings, wands, tiaras, dolls and glittery packaging. It’s got cards, potpourri and ribbons by the yard. Forget-Me-Not is kinda like Target for hippies and fans of Brian Froud. Or like the Disney Princess collection without the Disney. This place is near the base of the hill going through Old Town. It has three stories and multiple rooms for shopping. This place is a GREAT place to shop for trinkets and gift items. And while I myself am not all that into this sort of thing, it became a perfect one-stop shopping center for my youngest sister’s birthday(hint: if your kid’s favorite color is pink or purple and they love glitter, they’ll like almost everything in here.) At the same time, this is not a place to allow your kids to run wild: they will want to touch everything. And the management will not be happy. If your kid is mature enough not to pick up everything in their line of sight, go for it. If they are not, go by yourself and find the perfect something for your fairy prince(ss).

For a place that looks to actively lure kids inside with a giant bubble display, this business is actively unfriendly and rude to children and parents.

Very fufu and dark. A little girl could get lost in here for hours, but it’s not a shop for little boys. Big plus for having someone using a bubble wand out front.

Went here with my family when they were visiting from out of town and all of us loved it. It was three floors of all kinds of crazy things. All the rooms/sections had a theme to them, there was a fairy area(the entrance), alice in wonderland, children, more fairies, christmas, halloween, and I believe a few more. They had some absolutely gorgeous dream catchers, fairies and masques. There’s so much to look at I have a feeling you could go back several times and still see something new and interesting. Loved this play and would love to explore it again with some friends.

I love this store! It’s like nothing you have ever seen before. There is all kinds of stuff like fairy décor, old movies like wizard of oz and others like it memorabilia, stuff for old ladies like bears and bunnies, Christmas decorations, costumes and millions of other cool things. My favorite thing in the whole 3 levels of this store is a life size monkey dressed in old Victorian clothing, he’s called WENDALLMONKEY!!! The BEST thing about this place is the owner, Barry. He dresses up in all different types of costumes and makes HUGE bubbles outside on the street for everyone walking up and down the street. The kids love it!

Yay! It’s like going through the rabbit hole and stepping into wonderland! Some of the things you can get here: Fairy-talesque costumes, ornaments, ribbons, silk flowers, those mini villages people put up as decorations for holidays – pretty much anything and everything that’s the manifestation of childhood whimsies. I got a beautiful lamp here as a gift. It looks like a mini flowering tree, but the pistils of the flowers are fiber optic. It’s a bit dramatic but I love it so much. Definitely the most beautiful piece of furniture that I own. I don’t know where else in all of Maryland that you can buy such things. If you ever plan to throw a party of Midsummer’s Nights Dreams sorts, this is probably a place you’d want to check out.

Do you have dreams of fantasies? Not the Victoria Secret type, but do you dream of being transported to a totally different world, one of fairies, leprechauns, unicorns, goblins, enchanted forests, or prince and princesses in far away lands? Step into this store and you won’t have to dream. You will be there. First of all, this isn’t your picture perfect Disney store where there is not a speck of dust, all the items are in perfect rows measured to fractions of an inch, and completely sterile, like a neurosurgeon’s operating room. Instead think of a grandma, aunt, or whoever that is a pack rat and has been storing family related momentos for the last 50 years. Then imagine what their«heirloom» closet might look like. This entire store is like walking into that closet. Every nook and cranny… and even hanging from the ceilings are nick knacks, dolls, stuffed animals, porcelain figurines, pictures, minature houses, games, …on and on with nearly anything you can imagine. You don’t shop here, you explore. This is one of the old Ellicott City factory buildings from the 1800’s,(hence the name factory, they don’t make anything here). The floors, exterior walls and celings are the original materials,…that is if you can see them from all the items packed in the store. There are 3 stories for your exploration, each floor a completly different setup. If you are going to the Maryland Renaissance Fair, this is the place to stop to get your outfit and hats. If you need that special Halloween costume, this is a place to go. Amongst the thousands and thousands of items, I found things like a Peruvian game table, carved with an inlaid glass top for chess or checkers. They have items priced form $ 2 to hundreds of dollars, so there is something for everyone in this store. Ran into people here that said they have been coming here for 20 years and come back to see what’s new in the store. They have a classic 16 foot christmas town scene with model railroad set up. In another room is a halloween version of that… everything for sale as well. 5 stars because this is such a unique place to browse and shop. Even though I didn’t buy anything my last visit there, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
