Great pizza. Had the big daddy half deluxe half meat lovers. The flavor was fantastic & will most likely enjoy eating their pizza again

These people are the nicest ever! I went in with a Groupon, saying I’ve never been here before, and he was so happy I was there! Getting a carry-out. I got(courtesy of my 50% off Groupon) a large one-topping pizza(chose pepperoni for my son), an order of breadsticks(upgraded by $ 1 to cheesebread) and a dinner salad(bleu cheese dressing). I sat reading my book while the order was prepared. Perfect! When it was ready, I went up to the counter, and there was a 2-litre of chilled Pepsi there. I said, «I’m not supposed to get soda.» He checked and acknowledged, smiling, took it away. It was the right thing to do. So I said, «OK, you’ve got diet? Give me a large soda to go!» I had my money out to pay, and he served it up saying, «GM says it’s on the house.» Out of this world. The pizza was wonderful. The cheesebread was ridiculously rich and fabulous. Comes with a garlicky marinara sauce. I haven’t eaten the salad yet, but it is full of cucumber slices, green pepper, tomato and overwhelming its container. I can’t wait for lunch tomorrow. And the bleu cheese vessel is HUGE! The Diet Pepsi on the way home was priceless!

They have fresh mushrooms now! Sliced razor thin too so they cook right into the cheese. It’s a nice change to have NY style pizza with real mozzarella cheese. The crust is pretty good too, but I do wish they would season the crust with other options like a garlic butter crust or something like that.

We ordered carry out tonight using the Groupon Now special. We had heard good and bad reviews so my husband was not excited about the order. We ordered a large hand tossed pepperoni and mushroom(fresh) and a dozen mild wings. My husband was pleasantly surprised. We both agree that it’s not necessarily the best pizza we have ever had(not even sure we can say what that would be) but it was good. The sauce had a great tang and sweetness to it. Our only suggestion would be a little more sauce on the hand tossed because it was a little dry for our liking. The wings were really good. We both really liked the mild sauce. It had great flavor. I myself am not a huge fan of wing sauce but I ate 4 and was happy with them. My husband thinks they could have been cooked down a little more but still inhaled all that was left. Overall we enjoyed the meal and will go back. Ps… I’m glad they switched to fresh mushrooms or my review would have gone a whole other direction because I’m a huge mushroom fan.

Buffalo chicken pizza, toasted ravioli, cheese garlic bread and spaghetti. Everything was fresh tasting, good flavor and well made. The ravioli looked a bit overcooked but still tasted good. Service was excellent and there were several times when they were able to show it without being prompted. Not really a place for dining in, which we did but it’s good quality food so check them out if you are in the area.

Tried Fox’s because of a Groupon special. It was a good ROI for the owner, because this promotion worked and I’ll definitely be back! I had the wings + a side salad. The wings [’hot’ sauce — they have 4 flavor choices if ‘plain’ is a flavor] were meaty and the sauce tasty and tangy. I’m a bad judge of ‘hot’ though, because I like it pretty spicy. The side salad was nothing fancy [iceberg, green pepper, tomato, cucumber, shredded cheddar from a bag, and croutons from a box,] but the ingredients were fresh and the portion was HUGE — easily serves two as a side. I like the sound of the Wedge Sandwiches, and was definitely intrigued by the poster for the«Thanksgiving Leftover» pizza — Google it. I’ll try the pizza next time, but I can get pretty critical — so maybe I’ll keep that review to myself. I don’t like hearing about the canned mushrooms, but it sounds like they might be considering other options.

Fox’s Pizza Den is a Pennsylvania based chain with a couple franchises here in the St. Louis area. In addition to hand tossed pizza they offer hoagies, stromboli, and wedgies(a sandwich served on pizza crust as opposed to a bun). Recently, this location has added a St. Louis style crust to their pizza offering — although I have not had the opportunity to try it. We have ordered delivery from them a couple of times and I have been pleased with the quality and service. I especially enjoy their taco pizza. That being said, I do suggest that, if you order one, you get it without lettuce as it ends up being a wilted mess on the pizza — not very tasty. Skip the lettuce and you end up with a fairly unique pizza. My wife loves their wedgies and orders them frequently. I have tried them a few times and, in my opinion, I find them to be pretty mediocre. But, if you like that type of thing, go for it. I can’t claim that they are the best pizza in St. Louis. But, they are something different and at least worth a try.
