Dig it. It’s nice to have a place close by that provides friendly service and quality food. Makes me want to bust out in song. This is our new go-to spot on Saturday morning. Wake up, make yellow, throw on some clothes and head out the door. They even open early! 6:30am on Saturday! I’m old! I get up early! You don’t see that often. Not me being old… You know what I mean. We are greeted every time before we even get to the counter. Everyone is super friendly. Makes me think they are transplants. Maybe it’s because they are jamming out first thing in the morning? Music is always rockin’ when we walk in. First day, it was 80s!!! I haven’t looked at the whole menu. I don’t need to. They had me at, breakfast sandwich. Which… I prefer with sausage(it’s uh spicy!) with cheddar and egg(fucking duh) on… ANENGLISHMUFFIN! They have converted me from bagel to muffin! They always have an assortment of baked goods too. We usually go with the raspberry(No man dares give me the raspberry!) and cheese danish. Took my first bite, looked at my girlfriend… Smacked her right in the tits! So good it’ll make ya wanna slap yo significant other. They have ample seating. Like, if I woke up in the morning and had a field hockey team in my living room… We could be seated. No problemo. Parking? Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. Right out front on the street. Don’t even have to feed a meter. I think this Saturday I am going to get the usu and add a cookie. Don’t judge me! I can feel you judging me! Listen. Saturday at my house is, «Fat Ass Saturday», so, I do what I want. The cookies are gimassive too! They look like frisbees. What else… They have plenty of beverages, hot and cold. Fruit, and other healthy shit. Place is good, Chief. Eat there, or don’t. Save more for me. But, I recommend it if that says anything.

OMG! Awesome juice bar and breakfast spot! Had a Root Cause and a Greenscape which were expertly prepared and very tasty. The Bobbi lane was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. Great décor and ambiance. Will definitely be back!

Had the breakfast sandwich with ham on a croissant. It was great. Every ingredient tasted of quality. The eggs they use are local and free range so they have great flavor and bright yellow yolks. The ham was not greasy or fatty AND not too salty. The cheese was not a plastic square of processed cheese instead it was real cheese that became creamy and gooey when it was warmed up. The croissant was made in house and was nice and flakey. My husband had the breakfast burrito which was also good according to him. We both had coffee which we enjoyed. The space is large but still has a cozy feel. I can imagine sitting in there and working on a project or reading. Since we are currently in the area we will definitely be back.

Have you ever eaten an untoasted bagel? I have and it was unpleasant. We stopped in to order a to-go breakfast on our way home from MDI and we were really hungry. I ordered a latte and the vegetarian egg sandwich on a wheat bagel. My husband ordered a regular coffee and the breakfast burrito. We waited about 20 minutes for our food(which would have been fine but they weren’t busy). The coffees were average. The burrito was really good but it was cut in half. We ordered to-go so we were eating in the car. He started eating it like anyone would eat a burrito wrapped in tin foil, but quickly realized that wasn’t going to be possible since it was in half. My egg sandwich was horrible. I would not have eaten it had I not been so hungry. The bagel wasn’t cooked and the egg wasn’t hot. I think the bagel would have been delicious had it been toasted. I’ll add that there was a variety of baked items which all looked very tasty. We ordered a pumpkin white chocolate scone at the last minute and it was fabulous. However we would not recommend the made to order breakfast!

Enjoyed my chowder and the great art on the walls. Service was friendly but a little lazy, got our order wrong twice. Cappuccino was only 3/5, which is okay for North America :-)

We stopped in here for breakfast and were very happy. The coffee was delicious, the juices fresh, and the breakfast burrito(the first option with pico and sour cream) was awesome. There is a lot of space inside to enjoy along with local art on the walls. Will be back.

Looking for a sandwich, salad or snack? Don’t pass up Felxit. Quality and fresh ingredients like antibiotic free chicken and fresh herbs are used. The cooler has old school sodas along side ice tea, juice and water. Smoothies and fresh squeezed juices are also available. The cookies are delicious and pasty makes it hard to choose what to bring for the road. Vegan? Don’t worry. Sandwiches are available as well as some vegan cookie selections. Try the double chocolate cookie even if you’re not vegan! Look for the daily specials on the chalkboard before you make up your mind. Free wifi, the friendly staff and a casual vibe make this a refreshing café to stop and enjoy something tasty. TIP: — When placing your order tell them if you have an food sensitivities, everything is made to order and they can accommodate.

Visited a few weeks ago on a vacation back to Maine to see family and friends. I was craving a lobster roll and went here with my mother. Very good! Generous portion and really good brioche bun. Glad to see these guys doing well, and glad to see downtown Ellsworth bustling. It’s a lovely place, you just need to get off the High Street strip.

A gem of a place. I was with a group with a variety dining preferences(one vegetarian, one gluten free). This place made us all happy, I’m glad we found it. They had a steady stream of customers while we were there(we sat and chatted for almost two hours) indicating this is probably a local favorite.

We went to Flexit on our way home from Bar Harbor. We had the Banh Mi sandwich, the turkey sandwich with bacon, and a bowl of their shrimp and corn chowder. The sandwiches are served with Israeli cous cous with sun dried tomatoes and olives and a pickle. Everything was fantastic. The owner Paul was really friendly, and really cares about customer satisfaction. Overall, we had a delightful experience at Flexit. If you’re headed to Acadia Park, you must hit this place on your way in or on your way out!

Great food and service! We found this to be an ideal stop for a quick bite coming back from a trip to Acadia. They have a decent coffee by design selection, delicious pastries made fresh right in front of your eyes, and the breakfast burrito is bomb! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; the pastry chef even made a point to ask us what we thought of his creation. I’m glad to say we had an awesome experience with this place and will look forward to the next opportunity to stop in!
