Patched Works

I’ll preface this: I am not a quilter.
But, I like crafts in general and am in an intro quilting class (elsewhere). I stopped in here to get some fabric & advice about yardage for my class project. The women working that day were super helpful in navigating their fabric selection, and helping me select options for my first quilt project. They weren’t judgey that I’m taking my class elsewhere, but did share that they have a lot of classes throughout the month (which sound reasonable & interesting for the future!)
I think it is perhaps a little pricier than Joann’s (mostly because I always use coupons there) but this is a much larger selection of cotton fabrics, especially with solid options… not to mention a very helpful & friendly staff.

Julie is so organized; gets in new fabric all the time! Really puts a lot of thought into what lines she has and listens to her customers! Shop is clean, orderly and has a very helpful staff! The only place to shop in the metro-​milwaukee area! Classes are a party… woot, woot.

Every day is a party at Patched Works! Woo! Great selection and helpful people. Class options as well. Wish they had more kits but other than that it’s the best selection in town
