Happy 2015!
At first, I thought if I followed the measurement guide that I would be able to purchase my 1^st Faja online. …NO BUENO! I returned them within days of receiving my shipment.
I then drove from Brooklyn to Queens after reading the NY Times article mentioning this cozy store and all the rave reviews. Well, I can say without a doubt that owner and the employees were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! They made me feel comfortable and welcomed while assisting me every step of the way through my Faja journey. Customer service is KEY and they have mastered it! A bit pricey, but this 1^st time experience was worth it!

Where do I start!!! The service was PHENOMENAL! The sales girl was more than helpful! She made sure I tried more than one to find the right one for me. I was worried when i couldn’t get it on but Flora (I think that was her name) told me if I was able to get it on by myself the first time its too big. She made me more than comfortable and I definitely left happy! I will recommend EVERYONE!

I had a wedding I needed to go to and wanted to wear a faja under my dress as my Vedette body shaper was ruined in the dryer. A coworker pick up one from me near her home in NJ but unfortunately it was too small so I needed to replace it quickly. There are stores near me but they didn’t have the type of garment I wanted. I searched Unilocal and came across this store. I ran out to Queens after work and I’m glad I did. The store is small but there’s plenty inventory. Customer service was amazing! Professional but not uptight — super funny and kind.
If you are modest these things are not for you as you will need assistance putting them on for the first time. I was embarrassed at first because I couldn’t get the garment on but I was told not to worry. The sales rep doesn’t look nearly as strong as she is! Together we pulled, tugged and tucked until I got it on! I looked so good after!
A couple of things you should know 1. always go to the store to buy a faja. Do not shop online especially if this is your first time buying. You will need help not only getting it on but showing you the proper way of putting on the garment. Also the rep will be able to tell you which style and brand is best for your body type. I thought I wanted one type of garment but in trying it on I realized that wasn’t the best option for me. 2. The directions on Unilocal are incorrect. You have to take the 7 train to 82^nd street and walk from there. It’s very close to the train station.
This will be my go to store for fajas. There are cheaper stores closer to my home but they don’t have the variety or customer service of this store.

Best place to get a faja, their service is amazing! They will custom fit you to the right faja depending on your needs. They have so many years of experience and you will leave a happy customer.
