Try the veggie burger! It’s really good. I feel like these guys accommodate my dietary needs. I hardly go anywhere else for lunch break. The tres leches cake is so good you’ll wish you never knew it existed, that is if you care about your sugar intake.

Ever since Polos pizza closed down, every predecessor hasn’t lived up to the expectations. I came to buy pizza and Chicken Alfredo for a fellow loved one and what they gave us was pitiful… The pizza crust was burnt and the sauce was bland… The chicken Alfredo looked like pasta with carrots and broccoli. Don’t waste your time over here might as well go to Louie’s pizza across the street.

Louie’s was closed so came here by default. It’s a meh pizza joint with good seating but so so pizza. The crust was tasteless and there was a lack of tomato sauce. The fan was on high and blew the condiments everywhere. $ 2.75 for a mushroom and $ 1.75 for a plain. Saw a GrubHub sign for good wings? Skeptical. Stick with nearby Louie’s for pizza!

I have to be honest, I haven’t tried the food so this review is not about the food but the service. Tonight I called and I figured to give these guys a try sine many of these places around this area are not that great. I grew up in Brooklyn and have lived in Jackson Heights for about 4 years… SO I know whats goo pizza. Since this place is new to us, I figured lets try it, the pizza in the area range from good to trash. from the very start, they guy was a bit slow on taking the order. Finally I got the order in and we were well under way. The confusion started when I wanted to charge for the food but they told me they didnt take cards over the phone, fine, I get it. but then the guy tried to convince me sine I wasn’t charging and they took cash, that I should pickup if I still wanted to charge. I told the guy several times not to worry, I have cash… so that ended the conversation and the guy told me it would take about 35 wasn’t till an hour later that I didn’t see my order, so I called… The guy tells me you forgot to give me the address. I told him you should’ve asked this in the beginning instead of trying to convince me to come down and charge the order. I asked him why didn’t he call back, since that was the inly thing he did right. he said I never gave it to me… but when I called, he know who I was since he a dressed me by my name on the caller ID, he just simply brushed it off and asked me If I wanted the order that it will take 30 minutes… No tha… Click, he hung up on me, Never again… If you can’t take orders and get the information right from the minute you take the call, Chances are, they are not good. by the looks of the reviews, they might be right.

I do my best to write reviews right away, but sometimes I get busy with life… sorry. We tried delivery from this place in September and it was not worth it at all. The total cost wasn’t out of line, but the delivery took FOREVER from less than 8 blocks away! The people answering the phone were rude and incoherent at best. The pizza was a disaster of a mess which had mostly bonded with the half crushed box it arrived in. The onion rings were inedible. Period. My husband’s «blackened» chicken gyro, had no taste that would make you believe anything special was done to make it taste like«blackened chicken». Look that term up. It’s a specific flavor and taste profile. This use of the work was more likely meant to make you aware of how burnt and horrible it would be on arrival. There are so many better pizza places in this area; why do this to your taste buds and wallet?

Grand Opening special today. I got a regular slice of pizza for 99 cents – OK slice, nothing special. I also got the 2 specials of the day – $ 4.95 for okay lasagna. –$ 5.95 for chicken marsala with a nice amount of mushrooms and some watery mashed potato. I really wanted the zeppole, which they didn’t have. Regular slice will be $ 1.50 after the grand opening 4 small tables for 2 and some side counter seating. They also have calzones, heroes, salads, fried chicken, hamburgers, pasta, and wraps. I think this place will be busy, being so near Elmhurst Hospital and the cheap prices.
