First time I even stop at this kiosk and regret it!! one thing I can’t stand is rude employees who’s job description is customer service. The older lady working behind the counter seemed bothered by people who are tasting the sample cookies that are on the counter. I don’t know why. I don’t see a crowd just two other ppl besides me and my kids. I give a piece each to my two kids. When I go to have one she grabs the plate and puts it behind the counter. I ask if I can have one sample she then states“I threw it away”. I know this is false cause I saw her put it under the counter(probably gonna take them home) I asked her nicely well why would you do that”?!she rolls her eyes looks at something else and said they had«dirt on them» then addressees the next customer while I’m standing there in shock ! don’t know what caused this lady to act in a matter as if to embarrass customers. I would never let this type of attitude /character represent my brand that’s for sure. Cooperate needs to pay attention who they have working for them.

Rude service by mostly teenage-looking servers who are mostly pre-occupied with talking and joking around with each other rather than actually doing their jobs. The several times I’ve been here, there’s always been a long line because the staff is slow and unmotivated to do their jobs. Cookies are OK, though too sweet for my liking. They are freshly baked though, or at least smell that way.

Mrs Fields, the queen of all cookie chains expectedly has its own spot in the Queens hall of chains, otherwise known as Queens Center Mall. Sharing its space with fellow chain’r TCBY( ), it is the only cookie joint(not counting the woeful Starbucks bricks) in the entire mall. There are the classic Mrs. Fields cookie products(cookie cakes, cookie pails) available here, but it seems most popular items here are the miniature sized cookies, affectionately known as the Nibblers. They’re sold by the bag /tins and seem to be frequently sold out. This is rather surprising of course, since the batch I tried could crack dentures they were so hard. I’ve had Mrs Fields before( ) and there is an element of guilty pleasure for some of these sweet, fattening treats, but this location just doesn’t do it for me. At least local fans can relish on the fact they don’t need to go all the way to Manhattan for their nibbling(or tooth cracking) fix.

The cookies are yummy. had the minis. white macadamia and oatmeal. About 55 – 60 calories per cookie… and a salt pretzel… I had a bite of the pretzel. soft…but I prefer auntie anne’s overall.

I’m not a big cookie fan, but I love their pretzel bites with cheese. Staff always looks miserable though.

Nibblers(small/bite-sized cookies) are good… a bit to sweet to my liking. Brownies. chewy, love the texture… it’s pure sugar! sweet as hell. Service… geez, most of the times, the staffs are not interested in delivering a good service.(no smile, no thank you, which I consider a bit rude).

Freshly baked cookies prepared on premises. Purchase direct from the manufacturer which eliminates the middle man of retailers. This location is a kiosk, space 1036 that sits inside Queens Center Mall. Service is very inattentive as patrons need to holler very loudly to get assistence. Why should you request service when service should come directly to patrons? Management seriously need a crash in-deepth course on the ABC customer service selling approach.
