I tried this place the other day, I like that they have a variety of drinks. I got the three pandas milk I really enjoyed it. Had delivery once before it was on time and everything I ordered was there. Great snacks & drinks

The crispy chicken was great and the quantity was decent. But the milk was a «no-no» it left that powdery taste at the end! I think I’ll stick with Quickly’s(across the street) for the bubble tea.

I love this place. Best bubble tea and Taiwanese sausage. Amazing yaki udon. I used to go there every day since I was living close by. Now that I moved to Astoria I still make the trip every time I have the opportunity. The staff is very friendly and I really enjoy the ambiance and the decorations. What can I say, I’m a kid at heart

Ive been taking my son here for about 5 years i think ever since they opened and writing a review first time. I think there consistent quality is the key of the success of this store. Last i think they should just be more nice to the customers and perhaps offer more discount.

I have a love-hate relationship with Panda Café. .The Love. The décor is really cute and the place is kept very clean. Free wifi as well! They have a large variety of cheap snacks in addition to bubble tea drinks. My favorite is their crispy chicken fingers! It hits the spot every time I am craving for a salty crunchy warm snack.(The paper hotpot is also interesting but the flames under the paper pot emit a strange odor that’s not very appetizing.) .The Hate. I dread the service and the wait. The bubble tea comes out fairly quickly(still slower than other bubble tea shops) but the food will take a while even when they’re not too busy(4 customers in the store). How long, you ask? Longer than the amount of time it takes for me to finish sipping my bubble tea. The staff are also not fluent in English. With all the cheap deals and promotions going on, some of them are also confused on how to enter the prices into the register. I just wanted my bubble tea and crispy chicken, why does it feel like I have to jump through hoops to get them? It’s frustrating.

my boyfriend and i came here last night to get some take out. i came in to get curry balls byt then when i went in, they didnt have any but i still left spending close to $ 20 lol first off, i love the fact that theyre tawianese since i am too lol. theyre super polite even when they were REALLY busy. i ordered a large taiwan oolong bubble tea and got the bf a bubble tea with red bean. they gave me a lot of bubbles and they were chewy but i wish they the bubbles had a bit more flavor but it was still really good. i got 3 apps– fried QQ taro balls, taiwanese popcorn chinese and cuttlefish balls. the taiwanese popcorn chicken was very good even after a 15 min ride home sitting with a lid on it, it was still quite crunchy with a good amount of spice to it. i wouldnt get the cuttlefish balls again cause first of all, it was only half of a cup and the cup wasnt even big to begin with and i could make them at home but omg, the fried taro balls, my bf and i both loved them. they were lightly fried with a hint of sugar and they were SO chewy and yummy!!! i would def come back here again and try their other cooked foods. and another plus, if you spend $ 10 or more, you could use a cc! will be back!

I got a veggie and chicken paper pot with a spicy broth and it was so good and I also got garlic Japanese crispy chicken and taro fries. The taro fries were sweet and the chicken was tender and juicy I love the food here. You get two drinks with a 20 dallor purchase which is great also the paper pot idea is Coool I wonder what they use. Overall a great buy I’ll purchase from here again.

Cuteness overload *o* cute shiz plastered all over the wall. Owner(s) chose a good theme order at the counter and then sit down. When they call out drinks and apps, you grab it and for bigger dishes they’ll bring them out. Good service with helpful, young staff. Use check in for 2 drinks over $ 20 purchase(easy~). For these he decided on the original milk tea with 3 Pandas(bubbles, pudding, jelly) and I for the South Asian milk tea which was taro almond milk tea. They were both awesome but mine was better: p Ordered the fried chicken with jalapeño(cayenne pepper) which my bf requested less spicy and coulda been more and wouldn’t have harmed the flavor(def order and eat when it’s hot cause when it’s cold it’s like), taro fries which I can see different generations of customers enjoying cause my parents eat taro in a similar way from diff restaurants but I don’t get why they had duck sauce on the side cause it was sweet enough, also tried the beef udon noodles soup. The broth was good but didn’t seem to fit the beef. I was a bigger fan of the paper hot pot with spicy broth and beef. I loved the presentation but the fire keeping the bowl warm made my eyes water so I just switched places with the bf cause our table was full. Instead, I used the extra bowl of broth to enjoy the meal. The hot pot also came with a choice of a bowl of rice or udon. I chose rice but next time I’ll do udon cause the udon from the beef noodle soup was perfect. There was a side of sauce which I thought was fishy and my bf thought was XO sauce so we called it fishy XO sauce. It was goot. We ended up with leftovers enough for a one person feast. Overall it was a very good dine in experience. Would def come back to check out their rice combos. They also had app and drink combos for $ 5 and you can add on a medium bubble tea to a meal for $ 2. They’re also running a special right now for $ 15.99 for a choice of paper hot pot and a combo deal(app and drink). Or you could do two paper hot pots and two combo deals for $ 28 all before tax. Bathroom was clean and dark: o lol

$ 2 crispy chicken with a purchase of a medium drink. They offer loyalty stamp cards here; buy 5 drinks get 1 free. I got my standard green milk tea with tapioca at 25% sugar level and it was made to my liking. The panda cups are super cute. Will return next time I am in the area.

I had ordered delivery the first time and thought it was okay. Then found out they had paper pot so came here with my sister and cousin. The paper pot was delicious and the beef Bulgogi over rice was good as well. I would come back again but the only con was the drink options… also I ordered Matcha green tea without tapioca but after my first sip thru the straw I noticed some kinda tapioca looking thing at the bottom and I asked the cashier and she said it was red bean… but this was not written anywhere on the menu or I would not have ordered it. She did not offer to remake it or anything.

As another reviewer has said: avoid this place if you don’t want a headache. Customer service is absolutely nonexistent and nobody knows what they’re doing. My bf and I continued coming here multiple times, giving this place many many chances thinking it may improve. Yet without fail, we were frustrated by the workers at every single visit. Even when I literally instruct them that I want a certain item and NOT this other similar sounding item — guess which one they give me? And then blame me for their mistake. Then accidentally charges me $ 3 extra for the corrected order. No apologies or acknowledgement for both mistakes. We ordered delivery once through Eat24. A 45 minute estimate turned into 1.5 hours for a small order to Rego Park. For some reason, weeks later, their delivery driver calls me regarding somebody else’s order. How does a mix up like that even happen? The only thing going for this place is that the food, drinks, and price are good. But once Vivi opens up across the street, I don’t think this place will survive much longer.

Not a single problem, everything I ordered from them has always been amazing and meet expectations. My friends like the place when I take em, I even come in and get stuff when I’m just travelling through the area. I always get a White Peach Oolong Tea with Jellies and whatever else.

So far the best Taiwanese fried chicken I’ve ever had! Tried all kinds of bubble tea place but this one is the best so far!!! Their taro drink is very good. Love the store decoration and packaging. Also tried their paper hot pot, which is very interesting and unique, pretty healthy and clean. Overall, it’s a great bubble tea place with authentic Taiwanese snack!

Decided to come here bcus i was attracted by the paper hotpot menu. Food was pretty good, drinks were ok as well but service was beyond terrible. It seem like the person that was serving us is new. first we asked her questions on the menu and see if we could get some recommendations on what we could order, she told us she’s never tried the hotpot… okay thats fine.next. we saw that there is an option where if you pay $ 2 you will get a medium size drink that comes with it. We asked her about it and she got all confused and show me another menu which says its actually $ 1. So i asked to confirm what is the real price she said she doesn’t know why her boss gave two prices and she was confuse on what to charge us. I wanted to clear it up so i asked her what is the price then she said she will just give us $ 1. Then i told her my order that I want grape fruit green tea(I ordered everything in chinese btw). She was all confused and asked me what i said. So i had to repeat a few times in both english and chinese GRAPEFRUITGREENTEA. it was well written on their«special board» not sure what is so hard bout it… then she went in and ask about that drink. came back and told me it’s out. At this point I was beyond annoyed. A simple order of food has turned into a chaos. Then she finally gave me the receipt and I paid. ‘ Later on. we sat down I looked at my receipt and it turned out she CHARGEDMETHEWRONGPRICE. WTHECK??? She charged me with each drink for $ 2.76. Which should be $ 1. Also. just FYI the menu says the original price of the drinks are $ 2.50(without tax) im not sure where she got that number from $ 2.76.cus that shouldnt be tax included, on the bottom of the receipt there is a section for ALLTAXES. i mean its such a small amount i could care less and my bf was telling me to forget it. but i was so annoyed with the whole process i had to go back and ask for clarification. I went back to her and had her clarify. She told me she forgot to apply the discount im like okay that’s fine. so she refunded me. and turned out she can’t even do math. She gave me back $ 2.54 which should be $ 3.54DFJSDLKFJDLFS omg… for real… not sure what is going on… i did the math on my phone and show her. she finally gave me back the right amount. Later on our food came… and drinks. for some reason she mistaken my drink too i said milk tea and she gave me one with NOICE when i did not request for it. but decided to just let it go it was too much hassle to try and explain to such a clueless person. We saw that they are giving out free shaved ice with our purchase. but my bf and i decided to not ask for it since it will probably take another gozillian years to just try and explain what we want.SMH. overall the experience was terrible. I am only giving a 2 star for the quality and price of the food, and cleanliness of the place. Not sure if i will ever come back.

Nope. Nope. Nope. Never again. Initially thought this place is so cute and is a nice go to place for some simple bubble tea and maybe a snack. Ordered a jasmine bubble tea and upon drinking it I found a piece of tomato skin in my drink. I shrugged it off and tried again but ended sipping more pieces of tomato peels… not a good first impression… I’m so conflicted whether or not to return. Will my next visit be better? Will looking at the cute panda wall decorations cheer me up? Or will I end up with another tomato jasmine bubble tea again? I guess I need some time before I can come back here to try again.

Just ordered delivery online. Food appeared on time and driver was very friendly. The food was beyond expectation. I liked the popcorn chicken very much — both the original and spicy were well-cooked, tender and very flavorful. Really authentic, almost like the ones I tasted in Taipei. The South Asian milk tea was also good, has a mixed flavor of taro and almond. The original three pandas milk tea was good — but not came with pudding and jellies as expected. I also ordered sweet potato fries and taro fries. Both were not bad, but the taro ones were a little bit sweet. The portion size were reasonable and cute. Hope I could have the chance to visit their shop and try the Nami kabe.

This is currently my favorite bubble tea spot in Elmhurst(especially with the emerging of other bubble tea spots that has opened such as Coco’s, Quickly’s, and even Kung Fu Tea). This place is very cute, similar to Japanese tea spot as you might say. There is a mural of panda and friends on the wall, and a hologram of panda café that is displayed the opposite of the mural. I really enjoy their bubble tea because it is cheap(some drinks have deals such as 2 for $ 5), and what makes it even cheaper is that if you are a student, you get $ 0.50 off. I have came here before for the food with my best friend, and the food tasted okay, but I see many people coming here for the food. What I really love, is the fact they always change their cups, and each time it gets cuter and cuter. I really love the current design of the cup as well as the cover, and as a bubble tea type of person(minus the milk) I recommend this place if you are ever in Elmhurst and want a refreshing iced bubble tea. My personal favorite is the strawberry green tea and the mango green tea with bubbles.

A cute Taiwanese place with many fancy decorations. Service is good but a little slow. I ordered crispy chicken and milk tea only. The chicken is quite juicy, but too salty. The milk tea is pretty good, as they offer 25%, 50% and 75% sugar, and less ice options. I would like to try other items here like the paper pot, and more drinks: they have a buy 5 get 1 coupon.

I’ve only tried their drinks but I’ll definitely try one of their food offerings one day. Bring your student ID for a 50 cent discount! But if you don’t have a student ID that’s okay too, this place offers loyalty cards(buy 5 drinks get 1 free). –Regular milk tea with bubbles: The way they make the bubbles is great! There are no bubbles that are soft on the outside but then doughy in the middle. These bubbles have been cooked just right and are chewy throughout, just the way they should be. –Caramel milk tea: It was pretty good but not the best I’ve had. Oddly it tastes kind of like coffee milk tea… –3 Pandas(equivalent of Coco’s 3 Guys drink): bubbles were on point as usual, pudding was slightly sweet and grass jelly, well, was just one huge piece of it. Pretty good.

The store design was cute with their wall paintings! For a panda café, there weren’t that many pandas on the wall. Anyways, regarding the drinks, the regular bubble tea itself had more«milk» than tea and is lighter in color than a lot of other places. It’s not my cup of tea here. My friend thought their bubbles were too chewy. I got less ice and she got regular ice, but I’m 100% sure we had the same amount of ice. Overall, it was a cute place to stop by and see, but not really ideal for frequenting to get my cup of tea.

In a world of bubble tea wars within the Asian communities this store deserve the award for having a unique wall paper. I absolutely enjoy their bubble tea dessert combination. I also like the jelly and all the various topping they offer. I have tried two passion drinks and pastries but I do plan to go back and try most of their hot food items. Update to come soon!!!

This place is good for snack and casual lunch or dinner. You will be full under $ 10. They have interesting bubble tea combos. They are casual modern Taiwanese café, but they have modern Japanese food like Curry Rice and Gyudon(beef over Rice). I went there twice. At the first time, I was very curious about this place, but I was alone. However, my adventurous mind overcame my hesitation. There was no one in the café at that time on weekday evening. When I order the counter, the young man at the counter hesitantly asked me «Are you Japanese?’(I don’t know why but many East Asian immigrants including me are curious what other East Asians are from) I said«Yes.» He seemed happy to find out that I am Japanese. I guess it is because most of customers are Taiwanese and it was rare to have a Japanese customer. I ordered Taiwanese Style Hot Noodle. It was spicy and tasty. It has many ingredients and filling. Perfect for a cold day! I was satisfied with the price, too. I wasn’t sure if I should return dishes or I can leave them on a table. So I brought them to the counter. The young many who asked if I was Japanese asked me shyly«Oi.shi?»(It means«delicious» in Japanese.) As soon as I said«Yes, Oishi,» his face turned into a big smile and shouted to kitchen staff that«She said ‘Oishi!» in Taiwanese. I thought he was kind of cute. After dinner, I had a cold bubble tea to go. It was good, too. They will give you a card, and if you order tea, they will stamp on the card. If you collect the stamps, you get a free tea. Please make sure to check in on Unilocal. You will get free 2 toppings for your tea. I went back there on Saturday afternoon. This place seemed popular. Most of customers are young Asian people, but I saw older white couple, too. I am still not sure if I should return a tray and dishes to the counter after eating because no other customers left before me at that time, too. It looks like people love this place to hang out and relax for a long time.

I haven’t had the food here, but it looks pretty decent. An assortment of fired foods and also this thing they call paper hot pot. They have combos here, which I will have to try at some point. The bubble tea is probably one of the cheapest places around, offering drinks in the range of 2 for $ 4.50. The drinks are fine, and they offer differ levels of sugar and ice in your drink. For a hot option they charge $ 0.50 more. There’s usually only 1 or 2 people working here, so it might take you a little bit of time for you to get your order. Don’t worry though, there’s a good amount of seating, about 64 top tables. The best part of this place is the walls. Please refer to my picture.
