Sky Zone Trampoline Park

My kids and I met some of their friends here a day they were off. It was fun, clean and well run. They had a great time!!!

Not good for little kids that want to jump with their parents. Not to mention all the teenagers there are too busy trying to enforce petty rules that the whole experience was a waste. I wish I had taken my daughter who was turning four, elsewhere. I couldn’t jump with her I had to jump across from her by the little yellow barrier. so stupid. Then I got told I couldn’t walk on the outside with my child. I’ll say this as I told the young man yesterday you can ask me to do something and I’ll do it. Don’t ever come up and tap me to get my attention.

Terrible experience, we arrived Sunday ⁹⁄₂₇ with 5 jumpers ready to go, and could not jump because there was a private party which closed off part of the venue. I understand that your organization does not possess control over the volume of people jumping, but if you know your establiahment is close to capacity DO NOT sell additional tickets. At 100 dollars paying for an hour and only being allowed to have 1 out of 5 participants able to jump is a rip off. Do not visit, unless you’re a jumping enthusiast and enjoy paying $ 100 watch people jump

We took my niece and nephew here on a Saturday and surprisingly it was not too crowded. My niece and nephew are 3 and 5 and extremely active (they like to crawl around and pretend they are different types of animals apparently, not the best situation at a trampoline place).
The free jump area is a large section of trampolines lining the walls for different age groups. The only indicator as to what age is allowed in each area are colored squares (and let’s be honest, kids do not give a darn for those colored squares, they need actual barriers). Sky Zone has a toddlers/​age appropriate area which was nice for the kids, however there are no separations between the other age groups so naturally the younger kids try to explore the «big kid» area. This was a bit troublesome because the employees had to continue to chase kids back to their area (seemed stressful for everyone; employees, parents, sometimes even the kids haha).
Parents/​Guardians are also allowed between the trampolines but are only allowed to jump in four trampolines outlining the kids area. The idea is really nice, however out of all the toddlers I saw, close to ZERO wanted to stay on one trampoline and jump next to their parent. Once they moved to further trampolines, the parents are unable to jump with them but have to walk on the outer edges to guide their children (I was burned out from this).
Overall, I would say this place is great for all ages if you have the patience and best for older children. Once your child is independent, the trampolines will be such a better experience because they will have the freedom to jump and understand the rules without being chase around by an employee. The idea of this place for toddlers is awesome, kudos for trying to encourage young ones to trampoline. Only suggestion or fallback is to completely separate the toddler/4−6 age group area from the rest.
Finally, the employees were awesome. Even though they had to continually chase children and reprimand parents, they were very patient and kind. I am sure this was not how they wanted to spend their Saturday afternoon so I am appreciative of their jobs and presence.

My experience at Sky Zone in Elmhurst was horrible. After paying full price for myself, my boyfriend and my 1 year old for a hour and half jump I ended up only jumping for 10 minutes. An attended ending up telling me that I could not hold my 1 year old son while jumping and that we couldn’t even jump in the same section. This place is suppose to be about safety… What’s more safe than letting a child jump with his/​her parent? I was just really disappointed in this establishment and will not return anytime soon. I understand rules and safety but when they just do not make sense then it’s very disappointing to the customer, especially when you pay full price for the services.

I bought a Groupon and was pretty excited to have fun and exercise. They make you purchase their socks because they have grips in them and then you go to any four of the stations to play. They have a main trampoline area, dodgeball, basketball and a foam pit. It was awesome. It’s not a place just for kids; adults will have a fun time too.

I’m only giving this 2 stars because my son loves it. But that love comes DESPITE several issues I have with the place.
I had a Groupon for 1 hour/​2 people. The girl at the counter was very nice and asked if I was going to jump or just supervise my 2 year old. I said that I’d just supervise. We went in and he started jumping. He asked me to join him, so I jumped a couple of bounces and you would have thought I was killing a puppy. A worker ran over and informed me that I couldn’t jump unless I had an orange sticker. I went to the counter and told the girl who helped us originally that I wanted to jump. I filled out a waiver and got the orange tag.
We went back and had a great time for about 40 minutes. Then when the supervisors switched, the young man came over and told me I couldn’t jump. I asked why and he told me that it was the toddler area and parents aren’t allowed to jump. I told him I had been jumping for 40 minutes with no issues. He shrugged and walked away. I adhered to the rule and stopped jumping. Mind you, it was empty in the area, so I’m not sure what the harm was.
After reading the reviews, the issue of not allowing parents to jump with their kids seems to be a common one. Why on earth would this be a policy? Safety? I get that, but parents are probably the most careful group of people when it comes to taking care.
My son would not jump today unless I was jumping with him. What am I supposed to do in the future? Have him cry and tell me to jump, and my response will be, «sorry, son… can’t do it… the 16 year old told me so.»
I won’t be coming back.
With that being said… it’s very clean and tidy.
I just think the employees are so preoccupied with the rules that they forget about common sense and interpersonal skills.

Well I was thinking it was maybe just me, but I guess not. 2 times to this place in the last week, and didn’t even get to the jumping part to give this place a bad review. The first time I wanted to do Toddler Time jump with my 3.5 year old. There may have been 5 cars here — so it certainly wasn’t busy. Was told that there is no adults during Toddler Time. Oookkkk… don’t lo’s maybe want their parents with them during this (had just gone to a bday party at another one where this was ok). It’s not like there isn’t room. Mine is a pretty little guy and won’t do it without me yet.
Decided to give it another try today. After getting waved over by a teenager to start the check-​in, I had to give my info. twice as she clearly wasn’t ready, and then was told I needed the special socks. I said I had some from another jump place, but was told, «oh no, you need the ORANGE ones». You know, from their particular place. Whatever. See ya. You wan’t get our business going forward.

Awful. I was yelled at multiple time by teenagers with rude attitudes. Also they don’t let you know until after you’ve paid that you can’t jump with or even near your child. Of course I then asked for a refund, because why would I as an adult want to jump alone? And it took much too long for them to figure out how to get my money back to me, when they didn’t it wasn’t even for the right amount! Generally a poor set up, and even with a parent pass you can’t only walk on the pads, and observe the other activities like dodgeball from a FAR. Final thought: Snarky teenagers with poor communication skills should not be the people running a business.

I would have shared my thoughts with on site but there are no comment cards available to bouncers. Really? You are not open to customer feedback? Wow!
We wanted to bounce as a family –2 parents, 3 kids under 12. However, parents and anybody over 16 are not allowed to bounce with their children under 16. We were told that the possibility that we will hurt our kids is too high. I want my kids to be safe but couldn’t you implement some family bounce hours so parents can be active WITH their kids? Why discourage families from having fun together? You could just do the family bounce at designated published times.
Why are you closed to customer feedback? Not a good policy.

Great place for the kids to hang out and burn off some energy. We loved it so much we went two days in a row

Fun place for both kids and adults. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of parenting going on. The older kids jump around all over the place, not caring if they knock down the smaller kids. Overall had a blast

When Sky Zone first opened I really wanted to have my daughters birthday party there, unfortunately they didn’t open in time.
Since then I went there recently for a kids party. I have to say that I am glad i didn’t spend the money to have her party at Sky Zone. This place is very clean, updated and nice. But I had a much better time at other Trampoline places.
The party consisted of the kids having to waiting in lines and turns to jump. They had so many trampoline open yet the attendents made them wait until one color blocked jump and then another one. It was just honestly the oddest set up.
The basket ball part of it was the same thing kids had to wait until the ball was done being used even though they had like four balls to use. Meanwhile this party is on a timer and they are just waiting around. If you ask me its a waste and if i was the host to this party i would have been livid.
Now to the party room, it was super small and it was cold. The only thing I enjoyed was the Ice Cream cake. But overall– i rather go a little further because the jump time is limited here beyond what is already limited.

We had our 5 yr olds Bday party here in February. Here’s the pros: the place feels clean and updated compared to other trampoline places, pre booking and our actual party host were great, and the food wasn’t bad for a kids birthday. And for the cons: we booked for a Saturday and it was insane. The checkin process is a nightmare. Each guest of the party much check in on a computer and then fight a crowd of people to get socks in another line. Then we had wait 20 + min with 5 yr olds to go into the jump area. If you have small kids and big kids they jump in separate areas. There was several employees that monitored and scolded the kids if they jumped out of their squares. We found them to be overly strict. After an hour of jumping you get your party room for 45 min only. It’s enough time for a couple bites of pizza and a birthday song. Felt very rushed and unorganized for less than 2 hrs and over $ 350. I never received a follow up call asking about my experience. I would use your money elsewhere.

I have to say that I really like the Sky Zone over xtreme any day. There are a lot of great things to do for all ages. I read some of the reviews which I have to disagree because I have been there many times and I never had any issues as far as people not paying attention. All of the staff members are very conscientious of the environment and whats going on in their area. They rotate the kids pretty well and allow everyone to get a turn on all of the activities.
They make things really simple if you never have gone there go online and fill out the waiver to make your check in a quick process. You can save your socks for future jumps.
I also had my son’s 6^th birthday there with no issues they allowed us to decorate and bring in cupcakes, I declined the ice-​cream cake because those are pretty hard to cut when you have 12 pumped up kids that want to eat and play.
The staff is very accommodating we had more people show up than we anticipated so I ended up having to add some more kids and also adding another order of food so that was never an issue.
I have also taken advantage of promotions that they offer via internet or from gift cards. This is a fun place I also enjoy taking part in the activities and I definitely have to try the workout class I have heard alot of great things about it.

We had an amazing time here last night for a birthday party for a 9 year old. The closed off court provided the privacy of just our party guests, but the kids had the freedom to go to the other courts, basketball area, and foam pit. Honestly I was a bit jealous, this page is ten kinds of awesome and I would love to jump into that huge Pit of foam blocks.
We did see someone jump and get stuck in the pit, and it took a few people to pull them out. Jumper beware, I guess, as you do have to sign a waiver before jumping.
When the jumping time was up the party moved upstairs to a party room where there was great pizza, endless pop, and really amazing ice cream cake. I would definitely recommend a party here!

Had a bad experience until Geo the manager made it all good. My son and I are regulars. Geo knows my son by name and the staff treats us amazing. Thanks Geo for making this a fun and family safe place again!

Here’s the run down if you’ve never been to a place like this (like me, this was my first time!)
–Before you go, go online and sign their waiver. It will save you time, especially if your with impatient children (or adults for that matter!) If you don’t, they have touch screens to the right on the wall when you walk in & you can sign for you and your children. It asks for a drivers license number as well. (If you don’t have one you can skip over it)
–Go there in sandals because they give you awesome orange socks & bring quarters if you have things you need to put in a locker.
–They give you a run down of the rules and then you jump. I have to say their rules make sense but the little girl enforcing them was fairly rude about us falling. If you don’t get up fast enough they will ask you to get up. If you bring a toddler and their toddler section is closed (like it was in my visit) they won’t be lenient on your toddler even walking on the same square as you. Personally, I thought it was annoying to be told that I couldn’t show my toddler (who has never been on a trampoline, how to jump/​play on one safely. Of course I didn’t listen because my child’s safety is more important than their one square rule)
Over all it was a great experience. One less than 5 stars because they had closed their toddler section without reason. It’s a really independent play. You can’t play games like popcorn, but it’s great if your learning to flip or just want to bounce! Highly recommend a sweat rag too!
