I ordered a tall coffee with a splash of cream and I got a tall cup of half and half with a splash of coffee. This Starbucks location is very conveniently located; unfortunately 8⁄10 times when I order from the drive thru they pollute my coffee with cream or sweetener which I never order! The drive thru is also extremely slow. This location is only acceptable if you have plenty of time to order/wait in line/have extra time to return or request new drinks. Will be avoiding this Starbucks at all costs from now on!

This is the closest Starbucks to me and I won’t be going to this one anymore. They aren’t that friendly and my drinks have been terrible. When one of the workers was straight up rude to my husband, I was done…

I like this location and I go a little out of my way in that there is one actually closer to me. The employees at the Starbucks here are exceptional. As far as the product, it is Starbucks, it is consistent. Although, I don’t really like the«in-store» SB’s(like in Target), their pump coffee dispensers aerate the coffee too much. I’d give this location 5 stars but getting in and out of there is a pain and a half. Although, that isn’t their fault I guess, it is located in a little mini plaza.

The baristas at this location are extremely helpful and friendly. It’s a delight stopping here every day! The line is never too long and I only ever wait about 3 – 4 minutes.

This place is meh. This sounds absurd, but my main complaint is the whipped cream. why do they put SOLITTLE on it? I usually get sa LIGHT/Lite frap with whipped cream since the cream is alway so sweet b and i mix it into my frap. BUT this location gives you virtually no whipped cream. When you ask for extra, they dump out a fourth of product and give you basically the same amount as a regular one of their fraps… Its not a GIANT deal but its the one thing thay pisses me off the most about this location. All other locations are more than happy even putmy drink in a Venti cup instead of a grande and fill it with whipped. Also you get more product and you don’t waste it. (well, the baristas don’t) another complaint that I have is asking for lite. Green Tea Frappuccinos lite are my most favorite drink. stemming from when i went to asia and had starbucks for the first time. In the US the GTF is VERY sweet, hence asking for lite. The baristas don’t know what lite means. and asks me. I tell her: Other SB have told me that you jusy use non fat milk and no classic. I go to get my drink and its literally ground ice milk with matcha powder. i drive all the way back asking for it to be redone. One of the manager lady gets snippy at me «You know you have to ask for LIGHT not just«no syrup» ’ I explain to her that I did that before and she told me «obviously not since your drink is like this». I get it. long days working. But don’t treat customers this way. Not my preferred SB.

This is a good Starbucks. Drive through, good servers. If you like Starbucks you’ll feel right at home here. If you don’t like it then you should probably avoid it. In my case, I happen to like Starbucks, lines are a little longer now that they have more food, but I don’t go here when I’m in a rush,… so 4 stars.

This place is slow and the coffee sucks. Starbucks are never that great and this one is worse than most. Go to a real coffee shop.

I’m done with you, Starbucks, particularly this location. I write this mobile review as I sip on my Grande syrup latte with triple peppermint. Oh wait, I wanted a skinny vanilla latte! And I waited 10 minutes in the drive thru with only two cars ahead of me. I’m pretty sure the guy right before us paid and left without his coffee because he was tired of waiting. This isn’t a one time deal. This bucks consistently has long wait times, though at least the other times they get my coffee right and im not stuck drinking gum flavored coffee. I think im spoiled now that I make coffee at home but next time im on the go, I’ll be stopping at DD.

A fitting commencement for one of my road trips with my fave niece is a stop at Starbucks. We decided to opt for this location prior to easing onto 294. Not busy, just a steady drive up stream of folks in need of java. My cool niece(as she is termed) required the pumpkin spice latte: as I was the chauffeur, a mocha for me(extra hot, thank you). I have to say, and I am surprised to say, these folks needed either happy pills or vast quantities of chocolate to perk them up. Yes, they were efficient, but they were also going through the motions. Our drinks were to order; but I can suffer through even the most mediocre drink if it’s served with a smile … or something. They should take a page out of the playbook of the Starbucks down York Road. So endeth the lesson.

I visit this Starbucks when I’m in the area, but drive thru only. It’s attached to a ministrip mall. One side has a stoplight off of North Ave which is nice and the other enterence exit is off of Rt 83. The service was OK, but today’s experience was lagging a bit. I ordered tea and it wasn’t ready yet when I got to the window. The lady who took my gold card didn’t say anything about the delay. No sorry, nothin… I guess I’m spoiled at my «go to» Starbucks off of Lake st. in Addison… where’s the Customer Service? I would only go back here if it’s on the way to someplace that doesn’t have a Starbucks like to my gym, LOL!

I visit this Starbucks location often, and honestly, who doesn’t love Starbucks? The service is always great, and I always leave with a delicious Chai Tea Latte. Last time I visited, however, I went through the drive-thru on my way to work. I asked for a minute to decide, so I could find a list of the sizes on the menu, because I always mix up their alternative names for their sizes! I couldn’t find the list, and I didn’t want to order the wrong size, so I just asked for a medium. I understand that they have their own size names, and I did try to abide by that, but I didn’t have my glasses on and I couldn’t see the size names. The girl on the other end of the speaker paused, then corrected me and said sarcastically, «Oh. You mean a Grande?» So I replied, «Sure.» I just found it rude to correct a customer. Then, the best part of it was that I got the wrong drink! But, mistakes are okay. If she had been rude and got the order right, it would have been fine. If she had been nice and got the order wrong, that would have been fine, too! But since it was both, that’s not alright. I just hope that next time I visit I don’t get the same girl at the drive-thru!

All Starbucks are the same. Good coffee, nice atmosphere, and plenty of stuff to spend all your money on.

Unfortunately I like Starbucks coffee, as Intelligentsia has not made it out to the burbs yet. And equally unfortunately, this locations is somewhat convenient on the way to my business, and they have a drive thru. So that is simply why I come here — if it’s later than 7am, I have a difficult time finding a parking spot at the favored location in downtown Elmhurst, so I will usually swing by here. I was happy to read the other review, because I was beginning to think that it was just me — something goes wrong at least 50% of the time at this location. First of all, beware of their drive-thru — it will take you at least 20 minutes, even with only 3 cars in line, during the morning rush hour. Why? They obviously do not have their systems down. Second, it can be assured that they will somehow screw up your order 1 out of 5 times here. And since I only ever order a red-eye, black, you’d think that was pretty difficult to screw up! But unfortunately I do like Starbucks, so I am a glutton for punishment. Just take my word for it — don’t come here during busy morning hours as you’ll surely be late for work!

I’m a coffee fiend. I’d come pretty close to saying I’m an addict. :) I used to stop by this Starbucks every weekday morning on my way to work.(I used to frequent the one in Fountain Plaza by Yorktown Mall, but alas, I don’t work down that way anymore and so I have to settle with North and 83/Kingery. I miss that location a lot.) Apparently this location(North/83) is kind of the black sheep of the Starbucks family. Whenever I speak to other Starbucks employees at other locations(closer to school) of my experiences here, they always tell me, «Yeah, that’s not the first time I’ve heard that.» On two separate occasions, they forgot to put espresso in my lattes, so I ended up with steamed milk and flavoring. Then, I ordered a grande salted caramel hot chocolate, and not only did they not have any salt for the drink, but they gave me a tall instead. The next day, I got a cinnamon dolce latte, and it tasted like they barely put any flavoring in there(and they didn’t mix it before giving it to me, so my first sip was pure espresso. I ended up having to shake the drink while driving up 83 to get it mixed.) Later, I ordered the Espresso Truffle, which is basically their signature hot cocoa with espresso. I like to order the salted caramel version(basically the same drink I mentioned before but with espresso in it). So, like I always do, I ordered a «salted caramel Espresso Truffle» and was promptly informed that I could either have the salted caramel hot chocolate, or the Espresso Truffle, because these are«two separate drinks». I really didn’t feel like arguing with them, and I was already late for work, so I just ordered something else. Later on, I asked my Starbucks supervisor friend if there was a better way to order this drink, and she explained to me that I ordered it correctly, and I even«used the terms that [they] use.» About a week later, I ordered another cinnamon dolce latte. When I took the first sip, it was terrible. Have you ever had cinnamon gum? You know how it tastes about a half an hour after you’ve started chewing it? That’s what this drink tasted like… watered down and disgusting. I ended up throwing it away. For the next few days, I went to Caribou instead, but then one morning I was running late and so I decided to give this location one last chance. I ordered a caramel latte, something I figured they couldn’t screw up. Wrong! Once again, the drink tasted like it was very watered down… like they’d made a tall and filled it up with hot water to create a venti. That was the last straw. I decided that under no circumstances will I ever visit this location again. (Another deciding factor was: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been late for work because I end up getting stuck in their drive thru. There have been days I’ve literally spent 15 – 20 minutes sitting there with 4 cars in the line. Once you’re in line, you can’t get out, so you don’t have a choice. Also, whenever they get new products, it takes them weeks to learn how to pronounce it properly. I looked like an idiot trying to order a piadini from other locations because«my» Starbucks pronounced it «pie-dee-née», «pie-née-née», «pee-ah-née-née» and even«pah-née-née» [which is a sandwich]. The correct pronunciation, apparently, is «pee-ah-dee-née».) So anyways, I’ve given up. I just drive over to Caribou instead when I have the time(or I go to the Starbucks in the Dominicks on 83 if I’m running late). At least Caribou’s coffee isn’t burnt :)
