Wendy’s

This Wendy’s has progressively gotten worse and worse. I work near by so I frequent this location often. Every time I’ve gone the past month my order is never right. Countless times after specifically asking for barbecue sauce I never get any with my 10 piece nuggets. I ordered a cheeseburger ketchup only and I get a cheeseburger with everything on it. Whoever is taking the orders must not be able to hear very well, and it is almost impossible to understand what they are saying in response due to poor audio quality.

Time for the franchisee’s to invest in a wrecking ball. This Wendy’s needs to start all over. It is an antiquated, dirty, beat up property. Which lends itself to the poor service they provide and many mistakes that happen every time I’ve been there. Most of those mistakes aren’t so much a screw up of a sandwich but a forgotten spoon for the chili, no straw for the drink, forgot the hot sauce that was requested. It is hard enough to go to a Wendy’s but when I’m in the mood for chili, a few hot sauces is what I want. Not once have I ever had a pleasant experience and will never go back. Oh yeah, this is 2015, how about a drink machine in the dining room instead of being so cheap it is a guilt trip at the counter for a refill.

This Wendy’s is the best, we have EVER had! they are precision to detail and our orders are always correct! the chili is better than any of the other Wendy’s, we have gone to. the sandwiches look as close to the commercials we have seen!!! They work efficiently! The salads are the freshest I have had at any other Wendy’s. They are consistent in providing the same each time you order! They are fast, pleasant and the best from ANY in Chicago, thru Schiller park, Franklin park, Melrose park,…ANY of them and MORE!!! BRAVO! You ARE the BEST in illinois!!! THANK YOU for your dedicated service!!!

This Wendy’s is on ‘N’ York St, not ‘S’ York St. It’s right near Grand Ave.
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed Wendy’s today. I found this Wendy’s clean and the employees friendly. I really thought I was going to leave hungry when I hastily decided to order a half size of the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad. However, it was just the right size and it left some extra room in my lunch budget. In my opinion, this was a much better salad than what I’ve gotten at other fast food restaurants. Next time I’ll follow it up with a Frosty.

I just started coming here since I work close. I normal get some kind of salad. I had to wait since they had no fresh grilled chicken and they were so apoplectic. I had no issue waiting for fresh food. They felt so bad they gave me a coupon to get another salad on them :) They staff always seems friendly. The drive thru can get a little long.

Beware. Im writing this review doubled over in my bed. Had the chili tonight and have been throwing up all nite. Starting a new job tomorrow, talk about bad timing! Wont be eating chili anymore from Wendy’s or visiting this location.

I like the spicy chicken sandwich with tomato and the chicken nuggets are Great. Not sure on the rest of the menu. But it is pricy. one spicy chicken sandwich with tomato is 4.39 with tax included

I’m going to echo what the previous reviewer said about the service. I came in for breakfast but they don’t serve it at this location. They profusely apologized and and while I was sitting down eating (I decided to eat a chicken sandwich) the manager came out and apologized again and assured me that fresh coffee was at my disposal. Overall not a big deal but refreshing in our current world full of assholes…

So I like the food. The staff is garbage

It’s hard to compose a culinary review of a fast food restaurant, but here is my best stab at it.
To me, a fast food restaurant is about service — it should be fast and accurate. The drive-​thru at this Wendy’s is bafflingly quick with the food ready mere moments after I place my order. The accuracy is almost perfect, but I frequently am not provided with barbecue sauce with my spicy chicken nuggets. A deal breaker? Hell no, but it does come to mind.
This location is open late (2am) and provides that greasy, salty goodness I need when I’m too lazy to drive to Los Burritos on St. Charles to get my fix. The people behind the counter are friendly and the dining area is kept clean. Easily the best run fast food place on the small strip restaurants on York and Grand.

It’s Wendy’s… yucky fries but great burger. Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream SLAMMED!
