I go there all the time to grab green tea milk shake .it’s a must. the lady owner is very nice and friendly .it is always worth the wait .they also have frozen yogurts and now and then they change and add new flavours which is great so I can try different ones. my favorite one is pomegranate. you can add variety of fruits, chocolates, chocolate or caramel syrup. however you want it…

Good, though not the largest, selection of fro-yo flavors at reasonable prices. Customer service was great and they accept cards too, with no required minimum. The seating area is also very clean and bright. I’ve yet to try their bubble tea, but the frozen yogurt was pretty good. There are a variety of toppings to try as well, including 3 different kinds of lechee and boba. Kind of disappointed they didn’t have regular mochi, though. They just had the colored ones. This place is at least putting in the effort, so good for them.

Short: the frozen yogurt is decent but the tea is bad. They have a handful of yogurt flavors and a nice variety of toppings. I usually grab the small or medium cup and average a little over $ 6. I’ve gotten bubble tea 3 times and it’s always odd. Some weird flavors going on. The service from behind the counter is friendly. Cash only I believe.

If I could give this place 0 rating, I would. This place recently opened around a laundry I go to. The place seems clean inside & it’s eye catching because they have a sitting area and it is very colorful(bright colors). Since my siblings and I tend to have Bubble Tea, we decided to try this place(worst idea ever). We usually walk to the Kung Fu Tea around 82nd and Roosevelt, but since we were doing laundry, what the heck. As you walk in you’re greeted(it’s almost like they’re happy to see a costumer), it looks empty(not a lot of people and behind he cashier it also looks like they’re short in materials. Anyways, my brother had order a large passion fruit slush with EXTRA bubbles(boba pearls), my sister ordered the green tea with bubbles, and I ordered the regular Bubble milk tea. It turns out that when they were preparing my bubble milk tea, they already had it on a jar in their fridge. So they just poured it in a cup that has VERYLITTLE bubbles.(Seriously, if you ask for bubbles, might as well don’t as for it because they’re SOOO cheap with the bubbles). The green tea with bubbles looked like someone had puked in the cup. the Slush wasn’t good. My Bubble milk tea was so DISGUSTING that I took a small sip and threw it in the garbage right away. Also, my sister was complaining that the bubbles weren’t well done because they were still hard in the middle and the bubbles were tasteless(no sweetness at all) My brother didn’t like his passion fruit slush. He said it was«the worst passion fruit slush he has tasted» Overall, a bad choice, they’re cheap on bubbles, disgusting.

This place just opened up five minutes from my boyfriend’s apartment. Anyone that knows me, knows how much I LOVE frozen yogurt and would expect me to be jumping for joy over Yomi’s opening. I WAS excited when Brian C. announced its existence, and even more excited to hear that they were offering 30% off during the opening week. Yogurt is .45c an ounce which is slightly less than Manhattan pricing, but too much for Queens. Might as well go to 16 Handles or Red Mango for that price, but since it was new, close and on sale I wanted to try it. They had around 8 flavors. I sampled the pineapple and the cake batter and got a little of almost all the other ones in my froyo cup. They also had Bubble Tea but we didn’t try it. The toppings were a bit oddly positioned and most of them hard to reach. It didn’t help that there was no easy place to put lids. It was also awkward to have three girls behind the counter staring at your every move and giggling to each other about how big of a cup you are getting.(NOT to mention gossiping in Chinese about how your Chinese bf is dating a white girl). I’ll cut them some slack for this thought because they just opened are probably still training. The odd display detered me from stocking up on toppings like I usually would and I just got a ton of mochi and lychee. They need more syrup and sweet toppings. They mostly just had fruit and kind of random topping that didn’t look appealing. I guess I picked my toppings well though because the Mochi was actually really good and the lychee was fresh(not the syrupy canned ones that every other froyo shop serves) Froyo Flavors: Pineapple — really artificial tasting. I wasn’t a fan, but oddly Brian, who is not a froyo guy, liked it. Cake Batter — average. Vanilla — ehh ok. Cookies n Cream — very artificial, Brian complained it tasted like his cookies n cream flavored protein powder(not a good thing!) Strawberry — very artificial, like Hershey’s Strawberry milk. Yuck. Mango — I’m not sure if this was a sorbet or just less creamy than the rest, but the flavor was good. The also had Blueberry and Chocolate flavors but I didn’t try them. I doubt I will be back for the Froyo. There’s a 16 Handles in Queens Center Mall, a Red Mango in Flushing, and Mama’s and Vanilla Sky in Astoria are both worth the trip out there. Maybe I’ll be back to try the bubble tea, but the prices at Chinese Food(used to be RIce n’ Tea) are hard to beat and I doubt this spot will be able to compare to the quality and taste of the bubble tea at Joju. The immediately neighborhood may be deprived of good froyo but it makes up for it in Choladas, Randy’s Ice cream and the shakes at Joju.
