I invited my local family to join us for breakfast at Anthony’s. We were ten altogether. The restaurant was able to accommodate us with minimal notice and served a great breakfast. The service was wonderful. We will definitely repeat this!

Worst place ever a simple toast and cut fruits takes 25 mins if you are not American.

Admittedly not much to look at. No windows and sterile décor. However the breakfast was nicely made, fresh and serviced with a smile. The egg sandwich was as good as I get from my favorite deli. Definitely good for breakfast.

An unexpected gem! We arrived tired, cranky and hungry at the Holiday Inn after a 10-hour drive from Indy. We decided to grab a quick bite at the downstairs restaurant, more for convenience than anything. What a pleasant treat to encounter such delicious food at a place I normally wouldn’t give a second glance. I had the cream of potato and ham soup plus the«special“of the day, the chicken Marsala. As someone whose family has long been involved in the restaurant industry, I can honestly say this was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Kudos to the head chef who did the cooking tonight, and the lovely and kind waitress whose impeccable service capped off a great dining experience.

We tried Anthony’s Thanksgiving buffet this year. The hotel and dining room are nice and everything looked pretty. The wait staff was professional and on top of things. But Thanksgiving is the high-holy foodie holiday… everything has to be perfect, because everyone is comparing the meal to grandma’s. Unfortunately, Anthony’s fell woefully short. They advertised a «carving station.» What they do not tell you is that this does not include the turkey. It comes out in large warming pans, already sliced, and swimming in watery gravy. The ham is carved, from a compressed ham — like the one you get in the grocery store. The yams were canned and flavorless as was the mashed squash. Side dishes were just ordinary and looked like they came from big tubs. The roast beef was so tough that I could not cut through it and it was sitting in brown, gloppy gravy. The only thing that tasted fresh was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Even the deserts tasted«prepackaged.» Asked for cream or half & half for my coffee… only had non-dairy creamer. For nearly $ 20./person, this Thanksgiving buffet should be much nicer… will not return for any meal.
