Management has changed, it is also now called «Royal» Chicken.
For a place that’s supposed to be known for chicken, I’m not impressed. Very dry and salty. Tastes like Chinese takeout fried chicken, but worse. I did go near the end of the day but still.
Everything else besides the chicken from this ‘Chicken’ restaurant is actually pretty good lol
Their $ 2 pizza isn’t bad, they also have garlic knots and pepperoni rolls.
I usually get the Lamb Gyro $ 4, the lamb is pretty juicy and the white sauce to boot is great. They also sell Chicken & Rice, Burgers, and plenty of entrees. They even have a shake machine with a giant sign that says «HERSHEY’s CHOCOLATE SHAKE». Sweet potato fries were delicious.
The guys that run this place have been here a VERY LONG time, very friendly, conveniently located to the ever constant Walgreens in Elmont

I have tried this chicken once and since then I keep on coming. The place is not fancy but staff are courteous enough. Their fried chicken is so crispy-licious and juicy as well. It’s addictive that I’m wondering what extra ingredient do they put in there. Ha! But, it’s compassion to their customer that makes me come back. One drawback is parking is on the street not necessarily in front because it’s always full (3 cars capacity only) and you have to drive all the way to the side where sometimes it’s full too. So, be patient and you’ll find a spot. I guess their phone number is outdated here. It’s 517−285−4694.

Place has new owners, so far I’ve had their fried chicken, chicken sandwich and pizza. Fried chicken is juicy and seasoned well, tastes great. Also they prepare the patty for sandwiches in house so you get fresh stuff, not frozen garbage. I usually get their chicken sandwich, they have fried and grilled, although the grilled one is a little spicy, just giving ya’ll a heads up.
Higher prices are because they get zabiha halal meat now, unlike before, and the chicken is all natural, cage free quality stuff.
just call in advanced or you’ll be in for a wait
