Food is OK, only come here as it is usually the last resort. Customer service sucks they need to do a better job hiring presentable and customer friendly people.

standard in the grease trap… customer service from he’ll especially the fat lady keep her in the back to do the dishes or prep. food quality poor. major problem amongst Jamaican restaurants is price alway going up but the food quality is getting worse… this is perci’s over the years.

My new favorite Jamaican spot to go to. The jerk chicken with rice and peas are delicious. Gotta have the sweet sauce with it though.

Well… I’m pretty much a frequent here. Some days are better than the other, I guess you need to take in account the time too! I shouldn’t be eating after 7 anyway… Lol They have a good deal, the family jerk meal, which is pretty good with the sweet sauce. Customer service is a hit or miss as well, some days you have amazing people and other days… Quite rude… Either way I enjoy the food and I come frequently.

Good food. Especially the Roti and fried rice. Sometimes out of dishes I want to order. Wish they delivered.

Foods good, they are friendly compared to a lot of Jamaican restaurants in the neighborhood. Two because they can spice they shop more. Bought an oxtail dinner all I got was fat… disappointing that majority of the Jamaican restaurants aren’t good.

Taste: Jerk Wings With BBQ Sauce : Oh yeah BeBe(means exceptional in Kiki’s language). Spicy, hint of nutmeg, with the sweetness of the sauce. French Fries : Okay. It was little moist, but it’s most likely because of the condensation from the wings.(I forgive you). Bammy: Yes Gawd! Crispy outside and fluffy texture inside. Now that’s what I call fresh! People who are not familiar with bammy: Bammy is fried grated yuca with coconut milk. Improvements: Saran wrap on the food containers. I understand the gravy dripping over, but what happens is the wrap creates a soaked curried container. With the popularity of Perci’s they need to stop being cheap with the containers! Advice: Don’t go to Perci’s unless you call prior. Roti, jerk chicken, curry chicken tend to run out so you will have to wait 20 minutes. Will I go here again?: Yes! It’s a perfect place for take-out. Go here for a couple’s night in the house, after Sunday church service, or just to treat yourself!

I went here because I thought to myself what kind of Jerk would name a restaurant after himself? Well obviously the kind that cooks JerK chicken! Lol I cracked myself up. Anyway best chicken ever! And I would give just the Jerk chicken itself 4 stars. But for the price $ 8 I am disappointed that they cheat you on veggies. This is Queens area people stick to the standard price range. I go here only when I am craving perfectly cooked JerK chicken. Otherwise I save my money and frequent cheaper restaurants in the area where I can get veggies and JerK chicken for $ 5. A lack of veggies in their plates is no bueno! And the fact that they only have about 3 stools next to the window for eating sucks. It’s strictly take out only. Which annoys me since i am paying extra to get my Jerk chicken here. And the parking is nonexistent. Only come here if you have a serious craving and need to have the perfect Jerk chicken in your fat little belly. Otherwise skip it. And go to your cheaper spots.

So far this is the best place for jerk chicken and jerk pork I’ve tried in Queens or Long Island.(I can’t tell where this place falls since the border is so close) This is a small place, made for take out, not for sitting in. My coworkers and I come here pretty regularly for lunch and take back to the office. So far, just about everything we’ve tried has been great! The jerk chicken is really tasty, but sometimes the chicken can be a bit dry, which for dark meat isn’t really great. Still, the jerk pork, at least to me, is so much more flavorful and rich. Their rice and peas are very tasty. Still, the one thing that will really have me coming back is the oxtail on roti — wow this was good. The only downside is that it was pretty expensive. $ 10 for oxtail and a roti folded up, no sides or drink or anything. On the down side, it’s not easy to tell what costs what there. It’s helpful to be familiar with what they have to offer before you go in. The menu isn’t very easy to read — there are a lot of things that were just written in on cardboard, and the ink is fading. Other things were just missing. I couldn’t tell if there were specials or any way where I could save a little cash by modifying my order a bit. I was also not a fan of the pepper shrimp at all. Part of it was having to tear the shell and all off like a bloodthirsty viking. The real turn off for me was the flavor and texture. It seemed a bit old — extra fishy and dense, and the sauce — it made my hands orange, and it just wasn’t my thing. Oh well. So I won’t get it again. Still, those are minor nit picks. Overall Perci’s is worth the trip!

Hot hot hot! That’s describes the delicious Jerk chicken with Jerk sauce. I didn’t try the BBQ sauce cause I like it hot! :) The chicken was fall off the bone with the well done grilled look and flavor. The rice and peas, steamed cabbage were good. The sweet plantain(so rare these days) was the perfect complement to the hot jerk spiciness. The chicken patty was delicious. Not too much crust, lots of meaty chicken with just enough spice to make it tasty but not hot. I have tried the other dishes yet but I definitely recommend this place! They got a loyal customer now.

If you know and like Jamaican food, this place has the best Jerk chicken and pork in Queens. And if you don’t know, Jerk is the Jamaican style of BBQ, spicy, savory, and addicting! The soups here are also very good, my favorite being Mannish Water. They say it puts a tiger in your tank, I don’t know about that, but I do know it sure puts the happy to my taste buds! Chock full of goat meat, vegetables and dense little Jamaican style dumplings, it’s entirely delicious!

There are a few locations and I’ve seen the same thing at each one. The restaurants are really clean and well-maintained and the food is really good. I vowed never to go there again because of the lackluster service and the fact that they ran out of rice and peas a couple of times. Despite this, I went back because it’s the best jerk chicken in around, except for the Chicken Center in Brooklyn. This time, the food was good, the place was still very clean, and I got my rice and peas. The service was a little friendlier too. This is a place where you will go if you can put up with service that is mediocre at best and not the friendliest ever, but you really want some good jerk chicken. And the jerk chicken is pretty damned good.

Great place for jerk in queens. My fav spot for jerk pork or chicken. Make sure you get the full portion since it’s only a few bucks more and double the size. Get it with ½ jerk sauce and ½ sweet sauce. That’s the secret to their success. Yum, i want some now
