In the quaint college town of Elon, head up Williamson, turn right just past the lake, take a stroll down Bank of America Circle(really), and bam — you find a football stadium. Seriously. It’s actually a pretty nice one, too. Now it won’t win any awards for holding the most people or anything, but it’s also not like you’re in the middle of a metropolis, either. We are talking Elon. There are some nice home bleachers along one side, and the visitor bleachers aren’t bad either, but naturally there aren’t nearly as many of them. The truly nice seats are in the«alumni house» at the end of the field — that’s where you really want to be(presumably, I wasn’t allowed inside, for obvious reasons). They have a nice balcony up top to watch the game, and plenty of space to spread out. One can only imagine what happens inside. You may want a cushion, as the bleachers are the metal variety, and therefore are not terribly comfortable for a long game. The scoreboard offers instant reply via a small video screen, but it’s something you don’t often see in smaller stadiums. And don’t forget to bring your cardboard. The hills around the field are made for sliding.
