Came in here alone for coffee and breakfast. After the cashier getting my order wrong and incorrectly charging me, the manager came over and recharged my card for more money to make up the difference. After sitting down at a table, I was then asked by the manager if I could move to another table because a party of 6 had come in, despite other tables being open at the time. I obliged and moved all of my belongings across the café to another, smaller table, only then to wait 30 minutes for my order to arrive(which was only a slice of quiche by the way) while watching the party of 6 get served ahead of me in the meantime. The staff seemed surprised when I asked for my meal to be boxed to go when it was finally served 30 minutes later. The food was very good, but overall a very embarrassing and uncomfortable experience. Don’t plan to return.

One of the women working(owner, manager possible — not sure) was rude to my party during a recent visit. She seemed irritated by our even being there. Look, I’ve worked in retail. I know customers can be frustrating(though I don’t know what we were doing that would frustrate someone), but to be overtly hostile is probably a red flag that you’re in the wrong business.

I’ve been here several times in the past year. I always come by bicycle. I often come with a tad rowdy group of cyclists(good hearted and goofy, but rowdy) and we are usually starving, thirsty, impatient, in a hurry, but willing to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery(we’ve come when it was 20*F and today when it was 90*F). With that said, the workers here always strive to get us in and out quickly, and cater fairly to each customer in line. Their Russian Tea Cookies are my favorite, the Almond Croissant was so mouth watering today, and their coffee: medium roast: was delectable. Also, they have an amazing Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. I do wish they had for Gluten Free options, but I’m not strict GF, so coming here allows me to enjoy foods I normally don’t treat myself win anyways. My friends have ordered full egg sandwiches and parfaits, meals, etc, and we have never been displeased. In addition, I came through a few Saturday’s ago on a Solo Adventure. I was worried that I had left too late and this place wouldn’t be open, which I was planning as a vital re-fuel station for my body to get back to Philly on a 90*F day. They were still open around 4 – 5 on a Saturday. It was such a relief. They were very accommodating, friendly, and non-judge mental to a smelly, sweaty, delirious young woman in specialty bike gear. Thanks for all your hard work, ladies and gentlemen. Keep it up!

Nice little bakery in historic St. Peter’s Village serving up some delicious sweets and eats. You can enjoy those yummy treats either inside or on their deck overlooking folks climbing the big boulders in the creek behind the bakery. This was our first visit here and I had the key lime bar while my sons had butter cookies and a chocolate torte. All were very good and next time, we would be inclined to try some of their sandwiches and salads that we saw coming out from the kitchen as they looked good. Definitely worth a stop in and you can easily work off those calories by hiking along the creek afterwards!

My hubby and I stopped in for a coffee and snack. The selection of pastries and sweets was great. They had just baked pecan pies and we had to try them. They were ah-mazing! The service was excellent. The woman behind the counter was helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy inside, and beautiful on the deck outside. If I had to give a suggestion to the owner it would only be that I would prefer a better cup of coffee than café excellence. I expected a local or unique cup of coffee. Overall, great experience and will definitely be back soon!

It’s pretty far out there but worth the trip. Great for pastries, espresso drinks and some lunch items. I had a nice veggie quiche(came with a side of greens). It’s very rustic inside but the best part was sitting on the back deck in the sun and listening to the water rushing over the rocks and looking out into the trees.

The lady behind the counter today was cold and far from friendly. I wanted to buy more items but she made it out to be like I was bothering her. The place was adorable. What we did try was excellent. Would love to have tried more.

This is always my first and last stop when hiking in St. Pete’s. First stop because I always forget a drink and need to use their restroom. And last stop because their food is a delicious post hike treat! Since my last vist I was diagnosed as gluten intolerant, and wasn’t sure there’d be much here for me to enjoy. But there was cheese cake, delicious tea, and a chicken salad sandwich on a bed of greens instead of a wrap. All quite delicious. Other gluten free offerings include a selection of salads and soups. Also the staff are quite friendly. All this with a great view! Well worth the long drive from DE!

I’ve been to Saint Peters Village many times over the past 30 yrs. This time I tried this bakery. I had the asparagus quiche 8 $, girlfriend had the pilgrim sandwich with the turkey, goat cheese, and a type of raisin bread 9 $. She loved it and my daughter had the grilled cheese on rustic white bread 6 $, and a brownie. Great little place to check out. Very small menu, but it is a bakery. There is a parking lot across the street, i had no problem finding parking when I was there on a Sunday. Friendly staff.

Terrific bakery. We stopped in after hiking up the river this weekend. It gave us a little shelter from the cold before driving home. I had the chai tea and a croissant. Too few bakeries that I visit do not have croissants, or do not know how to properly make them. The croissant was made in house, buttery, flaky, delicious. Really perfect and exactly what I want whenever I walk into a bakery. I forget the brand of tea that they offer, but it was one that I have not tried before. The chai was spicy. I wish I remembered so I could buy a box of my own. Some others in my group got apple cider, the blood orange tea, and pesto bread. The apple cider looked good, had some thickness to it. I tried a bite of the pesto bread, it had a nice firm crust, a soft warm inside that pulled apart easily, with swirls of basil pesto inside. This bread would make a great meal on its own, or would make any sandwich out of this world. I plan to go hiking on the river again. And further stops in this bakery will be a highlight of the trip.

My wife and I had coffee and dessert while sitting outside on the balcony. Quite possibly the best view in Southeastern PA.

Love to go here after my local hikes. They have fresh breads, desserts and sandwiches. It is great to sit outside and view the boulders of the French Creek. Always have their Latte and the desserts are not to be missed. On Friday evenings you can go and have pizza night with friends. Sometimes they have live music too.

Some friends and I stumbled through the little village of St. Peter’s on our way home from a small road trip. We had sandwiches and they were all delicious. The bread tasted so fresh and was full of flavor. They give you a small salad of dark greens with the sandwiches and that was so much more refreshing than a side of fries or chips. If you happen by the area, stop by! The service is friendly, good food, and great atmosphere. We sat on the deck right by the creek and it was lovely. I wish we wouldn’t have been too full for dessert.

Myself and a friend happened upon this wonderful little strip of shoppes while cycling from Philadelphia and a gem of a café was found. The st. peters bakery is right out of a film(not a movie a film). A perfectly quaint and cozy interior is complemented by the charming staff and the amazing menu. Hot cocoa and a pecan cinnamon roll was the choice for a rainy day as the cold damp was creeping in. For cyclist, the interior floor is cleat friendly and we were able to sit on their front porch in view of our bikes. The they have café drinks but also a cold fridge with some to go beverages for the rest of your ride. It’s part of the philadelphia gran fondo course ride so don’t miss this place of you’re out there. All thumbs, fingers and toes up!

Luscious salads and sumptuous desserts are a hallmark of this little bakery in St. Peter’s Village. Located in an historic building with creaky wood floors, it has ambiance to spare. There is a lovely back deck with outdoor seating on warm days. Free WiFi and a friendly owner top off the experience. Come in for coffee & a sticky bun in the morning, super sandwiches for lunch or(Friday nights only) pizza and live music for dinner.

Our family recently ate lunch at the Bakery. We had soup and sandwiches. We found the food to be delicious, fresh, and a decent sized portion. We do not recommend them for a family meal, as the selections are not exactly kid friendly. They are also on the pricier side as well. The scenery canNOT be beat though… and the items in the bakery showcase… WELL, they are by far superior to any baked goods we’ve had in recent years. We suggest the apple danish cheesecake, chocolate cupcake and the oatmeal raisin jumbo cookies… again a bit on the pricey side but worth every penny. Service was excellent and friendly. Restaurant was clean. Atmosphere exceptional.

The St. Peter’s Bakery was, up until June, the best coffee shop in the area, bar none. Poor management decisions and personnel shake-ups ruined the place since then. Now the former chef, Melanie has leased the bakery back from its owners. She’s brought back her former workers and is once again producing excellent, excellent pastries, her full menu of signature sandwiches, great coffee and best of all, a friendly atmosphere. If you have been, like me, an unhappy exile from this place then be assured that your exile is over. Come back and see! If you haven’t been here before, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Free wifi too!
