Get the milkshakes! Burgers are ALWAYS the way to go. SOFRESH! Lovely desserts and what seems like a well kept, clean and friendly environment.

I really wanted to like this place, and gave it two shots before writing this review. It just isn’t that good. The burgers are meek and underwhelming, the fries(even the loaded ones) are kinda soggy and blah and not that flavorful, and the prices(even for fountain drinks… they don’t allow tap water) are absurd for what you get. Believe me, I don’t mind paying for quality… but when the Burger King down the road beats them in quality AND quantity at half the price… you know you have a big problem. The cupcakes are superb, however, and totally worth their price. Anyway, this place is off the list for now, until they either lower their prices or include something with the burger/make it a combo. You don’t even get tomato for free, sheesh!

We loved this place, to quote my 15 year old, «how can you not love burgers and cupcakes?» Staff was super friendly and food was delicious! Had to take treats to go because we were so full! Great place for families!

Had burgers and fries with my. partner on Saturday despite the interesting St. Patty’s day specials listed on the blackboard. No buyer’s remorse here. Burgers were Goldilock’s sized, not too small and not too big. We got them California style. His with cheese, mine without. Really liked the Amish style potato rolls. The burgers were well done in that smashed style. I’d have liked it rarer, but I don’t recall being asked. Ordering is at the counter and the staff are super friendly and gush about the food, even offering samples. We did have a taste of a cupcake that was on the counter. Pretty good in that homemade style. On to the fires, he got the waffle and I think they were the best waffle fries I ever had. I went for the sweet potato, they were thin, skins on, pretty darn good and a generous portion too. Lunch with bottled beverages came in just under $ 25. we were full, but ordered to go, a salted caramel cupcake, fluffier than expected and a strawberry shortcake, that didn’t stand up to the 2 day wait to eat it. We drive by pretty often and are looking forward to stopping in again. Hope it’s not the lack of local alternatives that put the shine on this place. I really want to know what that lentil burger tastes like, but this is one of the better burgers I’ve had, so it might be a tough decision next time.

First time in tonight. They must have worked out their early opening issues, because everything was fantastic! The burgers were fresh and delicious. Excellent assortment of baked goods. The service could not have been better! We will definitely be back. Also, surprising number of vegetarian options for a burger joint.

Food is ok, but extremely overpriced. We came once, but haven’t gone back because of the prices.

Terrible customer service, rude staff, overpriced and mediocre food make this establishment one to avoid. Don’t waste your time here. Go to Arby’s nearby for a better meal and much better service.

Been here several times here and have yet to be disappointed. The selection and quality of food served is better than many higher end restaurants I’ve been to, but without the cost or formality. Local ownership, with an effort to source as many ingredients locally as possible. Pleasant staff, too.

5 Star! Don’t pass this place up! We’ve eaten at Billy Burger monthly when he was in West Chester. My kids love the meatloaf burger and milk shakes. My hubby loves the lobster bisque and sweet potato fries. I go for the unique specials off the blackboard. Never had a bad meal. Always had a craving. Price is equals to many take out places like pizza or Chinese, but Billy literally rocks! Deserts are fresh and worth buying extra to take home. I brought a box of cupcakes to NJ.impressive.

This place is awesome! Burgers are great and the desserts are tasty too. Prices are high but worth it. Clean and pleasant indoor seating as well as outside picnic tables.

Overpriced DRY baked goods, overhyped, with disinterested staff. Based on Unilocal reviews, we thought we’d try the bakery, but not the burgers. We got an apple cookie cobbler and a whoopie pie. The cobbler seemed UNDERCOOKED and not nearly enough apple. The whoopie pie was DRY, very dry. Aside from the cashier, who seemed nice, the rest of the staff seemed completely disinterested — it was clear they wanted be anywhere else. We won’t return, as the baked goods matched the poor reviews, and the odd a la carte pricing for burgers will be more expensive than any other burger place we’ve seen.

Our Usual spot for dinner on Friday nights was sold out so we decided to come here because it was new and the menu looked good. On arrival you enter and wait in a line to place your order. I ordered the Ranch Burger and tried out the iced tea, it was pretty flavorless and the burger was ok. What I did not realize was that cheese and bacon and any other toppings are a la carte. This was troublesome because I had to go back to the counter and add cheese and bacon. When the food came out it was alright but the bun was oddly shaped and half of the burger was not even on it. My mom ordered the crab cake sandwich which she enjoyed. For dessert I got a Vanilla milkshake that was pretty good, and a cherry cupcake which wasn’t that bad. I’d give Billy Burger 4 stars but the fact that cheese and toppings are a la carte could be a little confusing and it was and that’s why its only getting 3. If they make the ordering system easier I might go back but until then there are better places to eat in Morgantown.

It is obvious that there is a chef somewhere in here that has some culinary experience outside of the faire served. While at-a-glance, you will see variations on All-American, welcomely blue-collar cuisine, those variations are imaginative and very welcome. Considering the other food establishments in the vicinity of Billy Burger & Bakery, this establishment is not only welcome, it is incredibly necessary. I had what is known as the«Twin Valley Burger» comprised of pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and a creamy horseradish sauce. Excited by viewing the rest of the menu, I intentionally over-ordered additional items which included onion rings with a sort of orange-wasabi sauce, and fried plantains with a beautifully viscous wasabi and maybe ginger based substance. My mother-in-law and my wife ordered Maryland-style Crabcake sandwiches and I ordered hot dogs for my kids. All items were absolutely impressive, proving that this establishment is more a welcome service than a gimmick, more substance than smoke and mirrors, and more a friendly place than a patty-factory. Meat was glossy and flavorful, and all side-items were certainly a feature on their own respective accords. Attention to details were obvious, even so in the freshness of the vegetables on the burger and sandwiches. The sauces were truly a feature, indicative that the person who created them and thought them up not only learned or devised them, but has loved several versions of it before delivering it to the curious and sometimes critical hoi-polloi. We also left with some BEAUTIFUL cupcakes from the in-house baker! Billy and his wife came by to say hello, were very welcoming and accommodating, and Billy and I connected on our histories in the music industry. Considering the experience behind this establishment and that it has been in business for about 3 months — I am excited to see where they are going to take this over the next year. My family and I come to the area for a month for all of July once a year — and I guarantee I’ll be taking my here again to «check up on the place» if you will, each time. Thank you Billy and Sally.

Glad to have another lunch option in Morgantown! Lunch time is busy so call ahead if you just want take out. Billy burger salad was tasty and multiple coworkers have raved about their chicken Mediterranean sandwich. They have lots of desserts so be ready to be tempted!

We did it. We went back in the middle of May and based on our initial taste of that peanut butter cupcake(from previous review) ordered over $ 50.00 worth of cupcakes for our daughter’s 7th birthday. We bought 2 of every flavor. We were terribly disappointed that many of them tasted stale. We are use to gourmet cupcakes: for example, we enjoy Sublime Cupcakes. We found Billy Burger and Bakery’s cupcakes were very dry. To the point they were almost inedible. As if they had been setting around for a few days. We called to speak to the owner and were terribly disappointed in their customer service. The owner swore they were baked that morning. Either she makes cupcakes that taste old, or she served us old cupcakes. Her only attempt to rectify the situation was to offer us a $ 15.00 gift certificate. We declined as we had thrown out more than half the cupcakes and after that phone conversation don’t wish to ever return. Our final experience w/this place, is that it is really hit or miss. They are capable of making great food. Will you always get it? Nope. Do they care if you are a satisfied customer? Nope. Good luck!

Billy Burger seems to had a rough start and may still be experiencing some growing pains since their opening in Morgantown. My family decided to wait a month before even trying them out and they seem to have solved all their problems, at least during my visit. First — the burgers and sandwiches are great. The Twin Valley Burger was fantastic. A tender juicy burger on the best bun you can imagine — with delicious horseradish sauce. Even the veggies were nice and crisp. The grilled chicken was tasty — as good as the burger. The service was fine, and the people extremely nice. I personally prefer regular donuts rather than cake style donuts, but theirs we some of the best I’ve ever had. A few quick improvement opportunities. The fries and onion rings were mediocre at best — hand cut fries would fit in with your higher quality theme. While the prices are appropriate, you’re right on the edge of what’s affordable in this area. $ 50 for a family of 5 to go out for burgers is pushing it — this is not Exton or West Chester. Consider some kind of kids size burger and hot dog, or even kids deals for 5 – 6 bucks with fries and a small drink. Perhaps even a lunch meal deal would be good as well.

Not bad. Better than«fast food» for sure(aka Burger King, McDonalds). The service was quick though, so its not like youre waiting 20 minutes for your food. Its a bit pricey, we paid ~$ 35 for 3 burgers, 2 fries, and 3 drinks, which seems like a lot for this kind of meal. Its a lot like Shake Shack, if you know that chain, but I have to say that Shake Shack is better. Overall, if I want a burger in town, I will likely go back.

My husband said his hamburger was excellent. My Billy Chicken salad did not taste good, didn’t finish it. If we come back will try something else. Very expensive for average food.
