Ramada Elyria

Atrocious. Dirty, dirty, DIRTY! Definitely unsafe.
The entire hotel is in shambles, so much so that they don’t even have a Ramada sign on the building. Please don’t stay here, trust me on this one.

Usually comfortsble, even during renovation. However, Big Loud Party next door to me! People in and out all night! So I left at midnight and as I walked by the door opened and there was no less than 10 people inside the plume of smoke which was room 293! Funny thing is they were all adults! Between 10 adults, nobody had a place they could hang? Really? As a CLC user, never again!

So disgusting. Found bugs in the sink. The interior is nasty and out of date. Rather sleep in my car. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Avoid this place like the plague. If every other hotel for miles around is full and this is the only thing available, sleep in your car. You’ll be glad you did.
Checked in at 1 am, desk clerk tells me to go around the back of the building. Doors completely unlocked, and nobody around. Lobby shabby. Elevator shabby. Room 393 door stained and nasty looking. Inside reeks of paint; one wall looks like it had just been painted (a nice luscious shade of red). Sink fixtures loose, tub looks awful. After running water in the sinks for less than a minute, both sinks backed up and never drained. That would have been lovely had someone been in the shower. AC didn’t work, fortunately it was a cool night. Best part of all was the BED BUGS. My son woke up covered in bug bites. When I told, the clerk at check out, he told me that he put it in the computer and that the manager would probably call me. Still waiting for that call. Oddly enough the parking lot was pretty full; go figure.
After i wrote this review, and went on line to contact management. Shocked to find that Ramada franchise is owned by Wyndham. Anyway filled out an online form with my complaint. Received a response a couple of days later basically saying we can’t take responsibility for a franchisee but we will ask the owner to contact you. Much to my surprise I was never contacted.

Gross. Can’t even express enough how much I HATE this place. Smells weird. Not up to code (at all.). Rain storm flooded elevators, pictures are worth 1000 words.

This place is dirty, dirty. Dirty. Can’t wait to check out. Ghetto outside. Difficult to get to off the highway at night.

The WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! The DOORS DONT LOCK the hotel looks abandoned and broken down and all the rooms are empty except one on each floor. NO LIGHTS EXCEPT FLOOD LIGHTS! I had to go through my bank to get my money back after I clearly told hotel I’m not staying there! The night manager «lectured» me, and I’m pretty sure it’s haunted! NO WATER in the room to boot! I’ve never seen anything so dirty and disgusting and disturbing in all my time traveling !

The best thing about it is its convenient location and low price.

Love this place! New ownership/​management has improved the place sooo much! That and it’s awesome location make for an amazing experience!

They claim the establishment is under renovation. My suggestion: level it and start over. My second suggestion: find a different motel. There’s a new motel next door. While the actual room was not horrible, the rest of the motel was not clean and was not renovated. Breakfast was a joke.

This place is an absolute dump! Electrical cover plates missing in hallways. Rooms are musty and carpets stained. Breakfast was a real joke. This place will not use the Ramada name much longer. The smell of oil and curry permeated the place. Horrible.
