Great products but no longer a customer. Applied for a few positions and never heard back. I know they pride themselves by treating people genuinely and with respect, but when you don’t hear back from a company that you have a passion with, it really makes you feel like a piece of paper. An e-​mail, call back, response of anything would have been the minimum service HR should have done.
One of the only companies in my career where I haven’t received a response. Currently on a 90% offer rate on interviews.
If you are looking to work here, don’t waste your time. They definitely judge on an artificial level.

Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford are not only awesome CEO’s but people too! They have created a product that serves not only athletes but regular people on the go! I’ve enjoyed a lot of their products over the years and recently given them some feedback about some of their traditional bars. Out of the blue, they sent me a birthday card and present! I’ve never received anything like that. the card was signed by a human as well. not the fake one’s you get from State Farm (Ahem Richard Pagano… LOL) What an awesome, personal, and surprising thing to do. Way to go Clif!

I had no idea the Clif Bar HQ was in Emeryville! Accidentally stumbled upon it while taking a walk/​run around the neighborhood and went into the EmeryTech building when nobody was watching. I’d love to get a tour of the Clif Bar HQ sometime but it looked really nice from looking in from the windows. :)
