This location charges you to use a card at the cash register. Regardless of whether it is a debit or credit card you are still charged an additional fee to use a card. I would suggest finding a different 711 that does not have this asinine fee.

Cleanest 7 – 11 store ever. I like that they participate in community events, provide art to enhance the community, and the staff are the best.

Love this 7 – 11, best selection of beer, wine and champagne downtown. Great prices, excellent customer service, clean and great selection of little tourist goodies for that last minute stop with the out of towners.

Great inventory, parking available in private lot, and very happy employees. There is a Red Box available, Slurpees and all of your convenience items. Great work, 7-​eleven. Have a nice day!

This 7 – 11 has the GoodOnYa Bar at least the last time I check. It also seemed like the GoodOnYa Bar was cheaper here than at other places, though maybe I’m wrong. I also appreciate that there’s a credit union atm machine here. Lol I remember getting the 7 – 11 hot dogs all the time. I’m not too crazy about the idea of 7 – 11 pizza, when I could just go to Manahattan or whatever.

Yep, that’s right people, I am Unilocaling 7-​Eleven. I have surfed the entire internet and this is all I have left to do. .. Ok, so I am only Unilocaling this 7-​Eleven because this is a great place for train beers. If you don’t know what a train beer is, its a beer you buy right before the Coaster comes and then you enjoy it on the ride to San Diego. You would never expect it, but this 7-​Eleven has a good selection of craft beers. I recently picked up a Chipotle Stout from Rogue. Yum. The downside is that they don’t sell bottle openers here so be sure to bring on with you if you’re coming in for train beers!

Good location for a local or for a tourist. Great place to grab surf wax on your way to the beach. Gets heavy slurpie traffic from groms in the summer but it’s all around a solid place

Convenient: right off the main drag on 101, open ²⁴⁄₇. Nice employees, laid back like all the businesses on this strip. Other than that its a typical ⁷⁄₁₁!

Nice 7-​Eleven near Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Clean with friendly employees. Best of all, manager/​owner Bobby was at the Encinitas City Council meeting where the fate of the Surfing Madonna public art was being discussed. Bobby was the next to the last public speaker and he offered a side wall of his 7-​Eleven which has a faded picture of dolphins on it as a spot for the Surfing Madonna to be safely relocated.
He told me after the Council meeting, perhaps the 7-​Eleven Corp. might even help defray some of the relocation costs for the beloved Madonna. The most important thing is that this spot near Moonlight Beach ensures a safe spot with public viewing privileges on private property.
I will buy all my Slurpees and bags of Sun Chips at this 7-​Eleven for the gracious offer of Bobby and the hopeful transition of this beautifully-​inspiring work of art that will now hopefully have a permanent home near the ocean that She wants to Save!

Steve and I went for a quick lunchtime run during which I kept thinking the eternal indecision of «What’s for lunch? I need something quick. Dangit, why did I agree to this run!» GRRRRRR hahah
I was in a pinch since I didn’t have much time nor cash on me. Steve offers to float me lunch, then it struck me: we’re going to 7 – 11? Say what? A $ 5 lunch special at 7 – 11? Any sandwich and Big Gulp for $ 5?! Steve?
Lunch Deal? Well, it works. I got my Cherry Coke Big Gulp and Poor Boy Sub (with thousand island dressing, bologna, spiced luncheon loaf, cotto salami and dill pickles) — so it says on the label. Mind you this sub was premade and wrapped in the scary celophane.
Don’t fret, I’m not comparing this deal to Subway’s $ 5 deal, which is far superior. My point is that 7 – 11 does surprise you sometimes — especially when you’re in a pinch. Oh, and how was my sub? So yeah, I was satisfied, but forgettable.
My Cherry Coke Big Gulp — though great! (and a 3^rd star for iconic Big Gulps and Slurpees) — surely wasn’t as sweet as Megan Fox on the latest cover of GQ that’s for sure. RAWREARAWRARR

This 7 – 11 is indeed a convenient store. There are really nice people that work here and they always have some great kick-​back music playing. Further, there’s some Encinitas schwag for sale to pacify the tourists, a decent beer and wine selection, a fancy new ATM that has a phone attached to it for whatever reason, and in the summertime there are inevitably some girls in bikinis. Plus they had the balls to put up signs telling people not to be jabbering on their cellphones while paying for their merchandise. I salute you, 7 – 11.
