Mike and his team saved the day! I was putting on an event at the old San Diego nightclub The Flame after it had been closed for 3 years. Everything about this project was a nightmare, however when it came down to the catering, I could rely on Mike and his team at Flying Shogun. Mike was nothing but professional and bent over backwards to help make my night a success from printing out large banners last minute for me, to supplying top notch security, and adorable friendly bartenders! I requested sushi to be served on one side of the bar, and a fancy cheese/​cracker spread with mini cupcakes. The guests, yacht club members and high society people, loved the food! I should have ordered more, however I doubled the order and that still wasn’t enough for 75 people because the food was so delicious the party patrons returned to the stations for more… repeatedly. Mike was very reasonable with the price and professional with the set up and take down of his stations. I can’t give Flying Shogun Sushi Catering ENOUGH PRAISE! I am already looking forward to my next event and using their services again, and again for all of my event needs! They even supplied the D.J. and a roving photographer (which I already had a photographer, but more is better!) The images I received back looked like art and that is exactly what I wanted.

Anyone who eats sushi knows that the sushi world in San Diego is very small. Your favorite chef could pop up at any number of San Diego’s restaurants. When I heard which creative minds were behind «Flying Shogun». I didn’t have to go any further. I am the Marketing and event coordinator for a luxury vehicle dealership called O’Gara Coach which is in La Jolla. We needed top-​notch service and incredible product to complement our fundraiser, which was held for Rady’s Children’s Hospital and organized by myself and sponsored by Lamborghini La Jolla. I have bumped into Mike and Aaron throughout the years at all of San Diego’s hotspots. Not only were they able to serve 100 guests (without breaking a sweat) but the presentation and professionalism was second to none. During the event, our brand manager Timothy approached them with the opportunity to cater The Rolls-​Royce VIP yacht party. Friendly, professional, and creative. They worked with us and our budget and made magic happen. Thanks Mike and Aaron! We look forward to future events with this amazing duo!
