Fountain of Youth Juice

Quick Service, good juice.
They have a really large menu and an excellent selection of organic greens and vegetables. The prices are some of the cheapest in the area. Under 5 bucks for a large smoothie.

We took a journey over here and had an absolute terrible experience. A blonde lady who was acting quite strange couldn’t grasp the concept of splitting an acai bowl. We ordered 4 small smoothies as well, the process took 25 minutes or more and the product was awful. It’s hard to fathom that this lady isn’t on drugs or that she still has a job. Needless to say please look elsewhere for you smoothie needs.

This is the real deal people. Fresh, organic, reasonably priced juices and cleanses. Support a local Business. Get healthy for yourself

Was craving a juice while in the neighborhood but not some dessert confection like Jamba Juice. I wanted some veggies. So I used my handy dandy Unilocal app and LO and behold, REAL juice!
Could almost feel the cells in my body signing a moan of relief after too many bloody Mary’s! Had the V6 for liver cleanse — delicious.
People are super nice here and it has a very honey feel — not some sterile chain store.
They also offer a 3 day cleanse package. What a great idea!

OPEN AT 8:00 AM. Excellent & Inexpensive compared to other juiceries. They have any combination you can imagine. My favorite this week is the Green Goddess. The people who own the store and work there are delightful.

For the price, surprisingly nutritious and delicious. Last weekend visiting the beach, I needed a green drink as it had been a couple days since my daily green juice drink fix I make at home. I arrived on Monday around 10 and there was one person in front of me getting an order put together for a juice cleanse. I noticed they had hand written drink combos on the wall, but I wanted to customize my drink and make it as close to I do at home. Apple, spinach, romaine (they don’t do kale), lime, lemon and a TON of ginger. Like, enough ginger to scorch your throat. But I like it spicy and hot and that’s what they gave me.
I also got a small strawberry-​banana almond milk +ice smoothie I customized, asked for almond milk instead and no real-​strawberry syrup. It was light tasting, but tasty.
Total was like $ 11, pretty reasonable for those healthier juiceries standards.
I’ll be keeping Fountain of Juice in mind next time I visit Encinitas, I go a few times a year, my home away from home.

Wow this place is a real hidden gem of the area. I had a protein shake called 40−30−30 or something like that that was recommended by the guys who own this place. It’s the best protein shake I’ve ever had. The guys who own it are so nice and friendly. I can’t wait to tell all my friends about this place. Oh and they are super affordable.

I am not sure whether I like this place or not. For some reason I don’t think I am getting everything in the juice that they are advertising on the board. The juices I have had don’t taste as complex as they look in writing,.they should. They make the juice way in the back so I can’t see what they are putting into it. This has happened twice already.
A fresh fruit drink should be obvious IMO. When I make a fruit smoothy at home I can taste the seeds from the strawberries or notice other purities from the fruits or vegetables. My two experiences here have lead me to believe that I am either getting frozen substitutes or more liquid/​ice than actual real fruit. Again though they go to the back to make it out of sight so I am only going on my hunch.
The other thing that irked me is the last time I went he made a little more than what could fit into my cup but did not offer the rest to me… why? Usually a juice place will give you the rest in a little glass for you to finish along with your normal glass. That is juice etiquette.
No big deal but I thought that was weird. I will probably try other juice places in the area next time.

Wow this place has become really run down. The young man at the counter had really loud music blaring heavy metal music. The place was dirty covered with strange baseball trophies everywhere. I ordered a smoothie which I luckily asked about the fruit not being organic. I ordered the liver cleanser vege juice. It took them 20 minutes to make order with two people running back and forth in and out of the back area. While we were waiting a little boy came in and started playing the piano really loudly. Between the heavy metal music and loud piano music playing didn’t quite put the vibe for a juice bar. The vege juice had way too much canned lemon juice in it and tasted absolutely disgusting. Yes so bad. The boy at the counter was really rude as well. I will never go back.

I stumbled upon this juice spot and I’m in love. So many juices to choose from, they even have cleanses which I recommend doing. Good for your body to detox and helps you lose weight. It increases your metabolism and helps with your all around health. A super nice father and son run the juice bar and definitely know their stuff. Very helpful, friendly and animal lovers. There’s seating outside the door to enjoy your beverage and the fresh air. Great spot to grab a drink at any time of day. Acai blast is my favorite!

These guys are amazing I am so happy someone told my husband and I about this place. They are friendly totally legit and everything was fresh we love the 3 day detox

I love this place. I’ve done their three day cleanse (I think it’s $ 67 for the three day one) a few times and I stop by once in a while after the gym to grab a protein drink (the Zone is so good). I’ve always had friendly customer service from the owners and other staff and this is the only place I will go to when I want to do a cleanse. I haven’t been disappointed once with anything I’ve had from Fountain of Youth.

My opinion about Fountain of Youth Juice has completely changed. I once again went in (about 1 ½ weeks ago) and this time, Adam was there. Incredible, warm, nice, personable «kid». Was happy to give me suggestions, ask how my day was, etc., etc. He took the time to explain things to me (a juice novice). I later found out he’s the owners son (not that it mattered).
Anyway, I’m on day nine of juicing. When I call in my order, Adam answers with an enthusiastic, «Hey Ken!». It’s a pleasure seeing and talking to him each day. Adam must get it from his father, Abdul. What an amazing, nice, personable and knowledgeable man! My wife and I spent ½ hour at the store this morning talking to him… he obviously loves what he does and knows his stuff! I also loved that he knew so many of his customer by name and greeted them as they came in.
Just goes to show how important customer service is. It made the difference between my first one star review to this five stars.
By the way, I’ve also tried their tuna salad and it’s the best I’ve ever had. The quality of their juice is amazing… I can’t remember the last time I felt so much energy!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !
I am had been going to this business for a yr and never once got a warm and welcomed feeling. Despite that I was a loyal customer for the juices.
The last time I went the women tried upping the price on my ginger shot. I asked her why they would do they all of a sudden changed it. The women told the other woman that if I wanted it for the same price to give me ½ the amount. I was shocked, I had just bought 1 the day before! I gave in and told her to just charge me what ever they needed to and just give me the full amount. The woman at the registered looked at me and said ‚” LOOK I DONT HAVE TIME TO ARGUE WITH YOU F*****G PEOPLE!!”. I could not believed that I was just yelled at for asking about about a price change.
Not investing into this business any longer.

Quality juices at reasonable prices and friendly, knowledgeable staff… what more does one need?
The other reviewer who said they are expensive has apparently not been to other juice bars. Personally, I think $ 8.50 for 24 oz of fresh squeezed organic juice is a great price! For example, Jimbo’s juice is $ 7.95 for 16 oz.

I’ve been trying out different juice places here and there. I especially like getting some juice after an «unhealthy» food binge. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t come straight into a 3 day cleanse the day after stuffing yourself after a buffet. You have to ease your way into a cleanse. But if you need a small pick me up juice to get yourself back on the right path this is a great place to go.
FYI I have tried the 3 day cleanse here and I will say it did make me feel a lot healthier. The way they set it up also makes it so you don’t feel hungry at all really after the initial hunger attacks. The first bottle they had for the first day also was probably the better tasting one, just so it helps ease you in. The rest were definitely more potent on the vegi flavors but never the less good.
The juices here are fresh and very good. I love how they have pictures of local sports players who have supported the business. It shows that they really have a good product and part of the community. Service was super friendly and willing to inform you on the whole juice scene. 100% recommend this spot!

Juice is not bad, but very expensive! A 24 oz of fresh squeezed justice was almost $ 9.00! Really!!!
I won’t go there again because they’re too expensive; I’ve been to other juice places that had same quality, or better squeezed juice for $ 2-​$ 3 less than this place.

Delish smoothies and incredibly knowledgeable staff. I went in to inquire about the 3 day cleanse and grab a smoothie as a replacement for lunch during a busy day. My smoothie was delicious and I got the 411 on the cleanse (My roomie just did it and I am on day three)
This shop is full of fresh options, squeezed and blended. Take a wheat grass shot, play a friendly tune in the piano, as long as it’s good vibes, you’re good to go! The smoothie list is extensive juicey yumminess. From sherbets to yogurt to fresh juices, blend it up and get all your nutrition in one swoop.
If they had a drive through, I’d LIVE off this stuff.
On the cleanse: The one I’m doing is 3 days long and I’m halfway through day three as I’m writing. I feel pretty good and it’s working! I’ve lost almost 5 lbs of water weight, toxins, etc. Haven’t felt too weak or light headed and the taste is A-​ok. It’s not a cheeseburger people so have realistic expectations, it’s fresh veggies as juice, so don’t fool yourself. It’s fresh tasting and natural and I feel great! No salt, sugar, etc. And you have a protein dinner at about 5:00 pm.
Perfect way to start the New Year!

Wow, was I glad to find this place! My wonderful chiropractor, Dr. Jeff Listiak, referred me to Abdul, the new owner of Fountain of Youth. He’s very friendly and very knowledgeable. He cured himself of cancer through his juices. Apparently his 3-​day cleanse is famous in the area, and I took home an instruction sheet showing how it works.
Meanwhile, I ordered a V6 juice with apple, beet, celery, carrot, parsley, ginger. It was refreshing and delicious and I definitely plan to do the cleanse one of these days. It’s 3 days of only fresh juice through the day and a protein dinner. Sounds simple enough.
The service here was great, one person took my sandwich order and Abdul made me my juice as soon as I ordered.
They also have very nice sandwiches, on your choice of breads, including a gluten-​free rice wrap.
