My friends and I were craving for Italian one Friday night and she recommended we’d check this place out. We didn’t really want to drive down to Little Italy so we stayed local in North County. It was pretty packed as it was a weekend and there were lots of couples as it is kind of a romantic-looking spot. We waited for an hour and a half for a table and finally got seated. We were served with a complimentary freshly-baked bread and marinara sauce. It was so good! My friend and I were joking that we would probably drink the marinara sauce too! My friends ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese aka the Beef Ragu and I got the Paglia e Fieno al Pesto aka fettuccine, pine nuts, string beans, potatoes & pesto sauce. I was more of a Pesto lover than a meat-eater and I thoroughly enjoyed the order that I had. The only thing I could complain about is that it was too creamy and rich but still, it was pretty amazing. We didn’t like the service much because our waiter never checked up on us. He just took our order and left and gave us the bill in the end. His name was Rodrigo just in case you all want to avoid him like a plague. I’ll be coming back for a date night, perhaps!

What a wonderful meal I had here. Huge salad, gnocchi with sausage, cheese and the most delicious Bolognese sauce ever. The portions are large, great service. Go early or make a reservation. Very small and intimate restaurant.

Hands down, amazing. If you don’t agree, then you probably haven’t tried their cheese ravioli in pink sauce or the lasagna. Loved Buon Appetito(sp?) when I lived in Little Italy, but it was so hard to get a table. I was so happy to hear they opened up a sister restaurant in Encinitas. They first bring you delicious marinara sauce with bread. It’s got a little spicy kick to it. Love the tricolori salad. I always get it. Beef carpaccio was ordered by a friend and she said it was delish. My favorite dish is the chicken lasagna. Don’t let the chicken fool you. It’s not like chunks of chicken in there. It’s hardly even noticeable. I am in love with it. They also have the best ravioli I’ve ever had. It worth every penny. I ask for pink sauce with it. Try it, it will blow you away. I’m not a huge fan of Italian desserts, but the tiramisu is legit. My husband’s favorite. They don’t take reservations on Friday or Saturday nights. I haven’t had to wait too long for a table, but sometimes there is a wait. At night, you can park in the Vuori lot– always a space open unless they are having an event. Great food, impeccable service. I Trulli love this place!!!

This was one of the worst Italian places I’ve ever eaten at. My friend had the lasagna and it was so so salty, like it tasted worse than the ocean. The worse part is that our waiter had the guts to put her fork in the lasagna and taste it. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you wanted to get food poisoning
