Twigs by Teri is amazing!!! My daughter and I foolishly procrastinated on getting her boyfriend’s boutonnière for Prom, and went to Teri’s on the actual morning of the big day!!! Both ladies in the shop were extremely helpful and immediately jumped on creating one from scratch, even though I’m sure they were going crazy putting together a ton of other flowers for all the proms that took place that day! It took only 10 minutes and we had exactly what my daughter wanted for her special day!!! Thank you SO much Twigs by Teri! We will be back for sure!!!

Absolutely disappointing! I had purchased an arrangement there last year and loved it. I went in this year and ordered the same thing. I explained to the woman working that day exactly what I wanted. I left my phone number and told her to have Teri call if there was a problem. I got a message a week later saying that it was ready for pick up. When I arrived, it was not what I had ordered. I had ordered a wood planter filled with already grown wheat grass. What was ready for me however, was a wood planter with dirt and seeds. I explained to Teri that this is not what I ordered and she assured me that it would turn out the same within the allotted time frame. I was very clear and asked three times if it would be grown in by Easter because it was going to be a center piece. Again, she assured me that it would be. I was given growing instructions that I followed to the letter. It is now the day before Easter and it has not grown in. I called Teri and before I could get a sentence out she interrupted me and stated she never guaranteed anything. As the conversation went back and forth and I explained what I had originally ordered and how I viewed our conversation. She told me I either did not follow the instructions properly or did something wrong and that I did not give them adequate time to fulfill the original request. WHAT??? Where is the customer service? If I walk into a bakery and ask if they could bake a birthday cake by next week and they say yes shouldn’t there be some reasonable expectation that the cake would be completed? If she was not able to fulfill my request then customer service and logic would dictate that she should have called to let me know. I would have moved on and found another centerpiece, no harm no foul. To have an order not be completed, tell the customer they have to complete it themselves, and then blame the customer with different random excuses is unacceptable. During the conversation she said I could bring it back in and she could switch it out. No Thank You. I will take my business elsewhere. There are wonderful florists in town with great customer service, no need to waste time or my money here. Stay away…

I got a beautiful and HUGE flower arrangement on super short notice for my wife’s birthday. I called in and ordered it over the phone, The woman who took my order was able to create a super nice arrangement from just a vague description of what I wanted and she delivered it that day. The price was very reasonable for how big and well done the arrangement was. It was blooming and smelling good for two weeks in my house with no attention from me. I would definitely call this place again for any of my flower arrangement needs.

I got married last November and Teri was very helpful and nice when we went in to order our flowers. We only needed a bouquet for me and she still was more then willing to give us her time even for such a small order. On the day my bouquet was beautiful and was a perfect addition to our special little day. Thanks Teri!!!
Also the nursery and her shop are adorable, definitely worth a visit!

A shop with true character due to Beth and Teri’s choice merchandise, floral and postal services, and smart location between a nursery visible from busy Encinitas Blvd. and the excellent Elizabethan Desserts. For me, the stand-​outs were the gnomes who occupied the range between expensive clay and tacky resin, the fairy garden accessories in whose usage they also offer classes, and some amazing/​elegant, latest technology faux flame candles. Their tastes so concurred with mine, that I might trust them to create a custom lei. One stop shopping for celebration cupcakes and plant gift dressed up with something from Twigs.

I have been into Twigs several times and enjoy the owner Teri very much. She is lovely and very helpful. I was looking around for a wedding gift for my best friend and found a very cool granite type rock that she offers and an outside source could engrave anything on these rocks. So I put a deposit down and ordered one with their names on it and their wedding date. It was probably 12×12 and extremely reasonable for what I was receiving. I told Teri I needed it in two weeks for the wedding and she had it done for me in time. I will be back for another gift like this since it is very unique, personal and my friend has it sitting on her front porch. and loves it!

It is a very nice place for flowers and trinkets. Some things are a little over priced though. The service was fine and the bakery next door is incredible too!

Teri has helped me over the years with rose pedals for memorial services, delivering floral arrangements for friends and family, interesting cactus arrangements as office gifts and lovely and interesting flowers for my home. I’ve always found her to be helpful, respectful and genuine. Hope to be calling today for another flower idea for a new mom.

Twigs by Teri was recommended to me by Sarah at the Park Hyatt in Carlsbad, CA. I was looking for a nice birthday flower arrangement & we received this work of art. Teri’s floral creation was amazing because she blended tulips with cabbages and fall colors. We were so impressed that we have purchased several more floral arrangements in the past two weeks. Although we live in La Mesa & I work in El Cajon, Teri had no problems delivering her floral designs to us. Teri wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied & made suggestions when I was short on time and ideas. Teri loves what she is doing and her enthusiasm for her floral work shows in her creations. We received lots of compliments from family members and friends who loved your creations during our Thanksgiving celebration! More importantly, we enjoyed looking and smelling the beautiful bouquet of flowers. Now, that’s priceless!

What a cute shop! This shop has great ideas for gifts. They also have an area for floral arrangements on the spot or for special orders. The have cacti arrangements ready to give as gifts, so cute, and so many other fun merchandise.
Beth was so kind, and helpful and made the shop just brighten up even more. Visit the place! Too cute!
