First of all, the Wienburg can not respond to these reviews. 2) he does not get involved with ins companies 3) he will do a phone session when you’re late to the appt This is a good, no very good dr. I’ve seen him for over 2 years. He was always patient with me and took his time Maybe the people seeing him are pricks?

Weinberg is the most uncaring psych. He only saw my kid once a year and the other times would just mail us the prescription. When we did go in for a visit he would rush the questions and made a huge fuss over the times that our insurance company was having problems covering the vyvanse for the ADD. He would always complain that he should be charging me more for having to talk to our insurance company(once a year only!) and also charged us $ 90 for the one time in the last four years that we didn’t show at our appointment. We were ten minutes late and I said I could be there in ten minutes and he said no. So he just charged us the whole amount without seeing my son even though we could have made it in the time that we would have been allotted for our appointment. He’s all about the money and does the minimal amount of work necessary.

I was sent to this Dr in 1993. Back then I had really bad anxiety from getting a needle stick from a patient working on the Ambulance and during that time, I was terrified waiting the 6 months for my results. I went in to Weinburgs office and he was a class A prick. He saw me no more than 15 minutes and put me on Zoloft. At that time maybe it was getting used to the meds, I went through a nightmare window period where I thought I was going to jump out of my skin. I called his hotline to let him know and he said it wasn’t important enough for me to call him. I saw him a couple other times and he never had me talk about the issue. He was more interested in my decreased libido that Zoloft gives . A few months ago, I needed psychiatric services due to PTSD. I went to a facility in Carlsbad and This doc sat me down the first day and documented everything from past incidents to med history to meds and allergies. I was in his office for an hour and a half! That’s how it’s supposed to get done. Weinburg could have prescribed Xanax, Ativan, or anything else on top of the Zoloft but he didn’t. It’s sad if anyone else has to endure This guy. I’m sure he is the same and I’m sure he’s Still around.
