I have been here a few times, but it seems to me that this place can be hit or miss. The first couple of times I was here, it was great. The staff was nice and the baklava was amazing! Recently I came here and the baklava had too much honey and was messy looking. The lady who packaged the baklava did it haphazardly. They recently redid the storefront adding chairs and tables in.
This place usually has a great variety of baklava: almond, walnut, pistachio… you name it. You can order them by the pound and create your own custom box.
You can also pre-​order sugar free baklava by calling ahead. I will come back here for my baklava cravins, but I hope that I get another good hit instead of the misses I’ve been having lately.

Love this place. I make a special detour off of the freeway at White Oak just to go here. I always think that the small tray will last me for a while, but it never does. I think I’ll have to graduate to the bigger tray size.
I love asking the friendly staff to fill the tray however they think is best — I always trust them and I’ve never been disappointed with any of their suggestions.

Popped in to pick up a baklava assortment for a gift and loved what we found. Tasty treats, artfully created and perfect for a gift for our nanny. Also picked up a delicious chocolate torte cake. OMG. Yummy holiday treats!

Pretty authentic stuff. It’s probably as close as you’ll get to the real thing here in LA. They have a big variety of baklavas (cashew, pistachio, walnuts, pine nuts, chocolate on top, cinnamon, etc.) and other sweets. They offer small, medium, large trays in pretty reasonable prices (12 $, 24 $, 60 $ respectively).
They also have a deal on groupon and living social– 34 $ for a large tray (but you can only get some items).

Being new to baklava I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into. They had so many different selections and I couldn’t recognize some of the ingredients, but with the help of the very nice lady that worked there I chose to try the pistachio baklava and the walnut baklava. AMAZING! This stuff is beyond delicious! They are not expensive at all, have tons of options to choose from, and are just undeniably juicy and decadent. I am definitely going back soon to try something else!

Fantastic bakery here in Encino! Their baklava is absolutely delicious and their date filled cookies are fabulous. They do great gift boxes of an assortment of cookies and deserts that I always buy when I am going to someone’s house or having a party!

Used a Groupon for a medium tray of various Baklava pieces for $ 14; best deal available! Also asked for a small tray so we had extras. It doesn’t get any better than this; this is the BEST Baklava I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back!

Wow! If you are a baklava lover you will fall in love. They have a large selections of baklava and great cakes. If you are a person enjoy numerous different kinds of flavors you found yourself a place to go. For all you picky baklava eaters you will not complain about this place.
Everything is made fresh on the daily bases from morning to evening. The people are very friendly and really want to please us. As we all know their is a lot baklava places in town. Hands down this one of the best. If you are coming from out of the area it’s worth the drive.
No matter the amount you order you will be very pleased with flavoring and quality. They charge 15 dollars per pound. I highly recommend getting an assorted amount this way you are able to enjoy all the great flavors. You have street parking or private lot behind the entrance. They also have another location in Glendale.

If I could give a lower review it would be 0. The person that helped us was very rude, a middle eastern man. I had a Groupon coupon that I paid for and he didn’t accept it at all !
He had serious additude and told another lady something about me when I left. Horrible service.

After Istanbul, Turkey and some home made baklava, this is the first time I try so delicious collection of baklava!
Great surprise exactly for Christmas and I have spent 2 days eating only baklava, trying all of it.
The lady running the place was really nice and helpful, offering samples to try if you want to.
The baklava is really freshly made and juicy, great taste!
Try the walnut and the pistachio classic ones and the baklava fingers too, the cinnamon baklava also, well try all types actually :)
They have several box sizes so you can make a great assortment mixture and try as many as you want.
Highly recommended place!

Good baklava and nice selections. This a great place for us middle-​easterners who don’t like to walk into a friend’s home empty-​handed. They will take care of you at BF. Not only is the baklava good, they have many different presentation containers that will ensure you look good when you arrive.
