This doctor and his staff are unprofessional and rude!
First it’s impossible to get around their office building. You have to give yourself an extra 30 minutes just to get to their office. Once I arrived I was a few minutes late and the I was told that I had to re-​schedule. I was also told that I needed to leave a cash deposit if I re-​scheduled. I have never heard of doctor asking for cash, specially when you have health insurance.
I have made a complaint with my insurance and requested that he be removed from their provider list.

I personally really like Dr Lazar. I will rate based upon things that are important to me.
I think I went in with expectations on him of being a therapist and he isn’t.
1. Returns call promptly — 5 star
2. Waiting time — 5 Star — he is prompt and on time and I never get stuck waiting for him longer than maybe 2 – 5 minutes!!!
3. Same day/​emergency appointments — 5 star
4. Knowledge and willingness to help — 5 star
5. Office Staff — 4 Star I really love Annie, but he has a new girl working for him as well, and she seems ok.
(I only knock it down because I seem to not get reminder phone calls, which I really, really need and recently they billed my old insurance when I had brought them my updated information on my last visit.)
6. Time spent diagnosing, treating and evaluating symptoms/​issues — 4 Stars
I’ll admit, I’m not sure where my expectations are on this one. I do not have anything to really compare to.
Overall, I’m a fan, I just don’t want to rate 5 because I honestly don’t know if its as good as it gets, but it’s pretty darned good!

I have been having a great experience with Dr Lazar, always returns calls fast (not sure why another reviewer said the office doesn’t as I’ve never waited over 24 hours.. .), listens to everything carefully and explains well — and he and his staff have gone out of their way to assist me with any insurance/​pharmacy issues. Easy to book appointments with and proud to feel a sense of accomplishment working with this Doctor. Definitely would highly recommend to others who may be looking!

I visited this doctor a handful of times by absolute necessity. His knowledge seems to be extremely basic, and his office is dreadful at returning calls.
