Friendly’s, you are the love of my diner life.
Does it get any better than a BBQ chicken supermelt and happy ending sundae?!?
NO IT DOES NOT.
This place is just like I remembered… maybe a little more expensive. But the supermelt is delicious and how can you not love the build your own sundae to end the meal.

Ah good old Friendly’s Ice Cream !! I have been coming here since the 1980’s and still enjoy a good old fashioned sundae. I even worked here in 1984 back when I was in high school. The food and ice cream are still the same now in 2013, the only things that have changed, is the décor and uniforms !! To this day my favorite sundae’s are” The Jim Dandy” and Reese’s Pieces Sundaes, both have around 5 scoops of ice cream, plus toppings of your choice, Prices are reasonable and Friendly’s is a family oriented place to go. Parking is ample and very busy on weekends, especially Sundays after church services in the local area. My favorite flavor is Black Rasberry, because I’ve been living in the South for the past 16 years and that’s one flavor you’ll never find in the South except; in Orlando, FL on International Drive. I always return to Friendly’s when I’m back home. It’s a tradition, so leave room for desert !!

This is a classic Friendly’s shop where you can get your sundae custom made to your taste. They staff are friendy. They even took us right before closing time. We were very satisfied with the quality and service!
