This place was very, very, very mediocre. The seafood stuffed mushrooms were freshly made, but still had a «fishy» taste and the mushrooms tasted odd. The side salad that came with the meal was extremely cold. The shredded carrots in the salad were frozen. As if they were pre made the night before and they just sit in the fridge until ordered. Ordered the $ 26 Seafood Risotto, it had ONE scallop in it, a ton of calamari, a few pieces of shrimp and mussels. It wasn’t under seasoned but wasn’t anything to be in awe of. Very in the middle of the road flavor. Which was disappointing for a $ 30 meal. I gave two stars because the waiter was very attentive and professional. I’ve always driven past this restaurant and wondered what the food was like… now I know. I won’t be going back as there was nothing spectacular about this place and there are plenty of other option in the Enfield area.

Staple restaurant for us that is so consistent with food and service that when we need a night out, this is our go-to.

Been here many times. The food that I’ve had has been consistently very good and the staff more than attentive. Look forward to returning!

I really wanted to like it. Really! But that didn’t happen. Do I appreciate it’s not one of those many fake Italian chain restaurants? Absolutely. But that doesn’t mean you get away with cold soup, tasteless food and outdated interior. And whoever calls this place authentic clearly has never been to Italy. The food did not look appealing(neither did the wannabe gangsta that was walking in and out the kitchen but that’s a different story, I hope he didn’t work there). Service was fast and friendly, but that’s usually not what makes people decide to go to a restaurant(or return). Thankfully we didn’t go there on a first date so the wife eventually forgave me for the poor choice and lack of research. To call the menu ‘basic’ is an understatement. And what’s up with the grinders, wraps and burgers but no pizza? I tried playing it safe with Spaghetti Alfredo. Didn’t work out. What I got was an over-cooked under-spiced pile of milk noodles. No taste. Wife had seafood chowder but failed to find any trace of sea life other than a small piece of white fish. The rest was potato soup. Restaurant was empty, that was a hint we overlooked. Reception guy was busy on the phone, no one said goodbye when we left. Two stars only because the waitress was nice, the bread warm and the water cold. The rest was just extremely disappointing. Go there only with people you don’t like.

I read one reviewer said she wanted to go to he Olive Garden; that would have been better than this place. I went here with family for a birthday dinner. I knew I was in for trouble when their website decorates their plates with pineapple slices and maraschino cherries. But the reviews on Unilocal were mixed so I thought let’s give it a try. Where do I even begin. The décor is tired and outdated. The carpet looks tired and like it hasn’t been cleaned professionally in years. Upon arrival the bathroom was open. By the end of dinner it was closed most likely from a sewage leak. I had noticed water running on the floor from the toilet with my first visit. They must pride themselves for their old school service style; large water goblets of cut glass to resemble crystal and serving you your salad dressing in individual stainless steel mini gravy boats. This charm was squashed halfway through the meal when the waitress asked if we were done with our waters because this half empty restaurant was running out of glasses. Their menu is pretty basic. Your Italian classics. Pick your pasta, pick your sauce. I laugh that«on the lighter side» consists of hamburgers rather than health conscious choices. Nothing unique or special. Some items are served family style. We ordered a salad for the table which was just a big bowl of iceberg lettuce with some fancier mescaline greens thrown on top like garnish. Even my husband said the tomato tasted dirty. When I asked the waitress what type of meat was in the lasagne, assuming beef or veal or mixed she replied; «it’s meat». Finding nothing else that looked appetizing I settled for the«meat» lasagne. Tasted like it had been frozen. Just gluey and falling apart. My wine by the glass was either awful or had come from an already open bottle. I knew I wasn’t going to get much out of this experience and just ate the bread for substance. I could hear the words of Gordon Ramsey like a ghost commentating in my head with every minute that passed as if this place was on «Kitchen Nightmares». Maybe it should be. This place could use a major overhaul.

I’ve gone here several times and it has never let me down. I just went this past weekend with family for a nice casual dinner and all of our meals were delicious. We got the escarole and beans and the fried calamari for appetizers and both were very good. Everyone also enjoyed their entrees. I typically get the lasagna and my husband always gets the veal parm we are always pleased with both. The portions are nice and large so we typically have good left overs for lunch the next day. Figaro’s is also good for group events, we go for family birthdays with large groups. We had our rehearsal dinner here as well. The service is usually decent and if you reserve for a group they always get you into a nice secluded area.

I was extremely disappointed by Figaro’s. This is a very old school Italian restaurant, and I’ve become accustomed to the the new school. I went here for a work function, so I was working off a different menu. The menu for functions was rough. They offered cheese and crackers for cocktail hour and it was likely Cracker Barrel and water crackers. The rest of the food was family style. The salad was weak and the main dish came with family style ziti, which was overcooked. I had a steak. The side dish was parsley. That’s it. What a disappointment. I won’t be back.
