This place was absolutely terrible. I thought I’d give this location a try even after a poor experience at a Massachusetts location, and it was even worse. It was like a fancy version of the golden coral without the buffet.

Food is ok, nothing special but price point is pretty low. Service is terrible. People are nice enough but must be the pathetic nature of the lack of management. Nothing pro active going on here. Bartender and wait staff go missing for 20 minute plus intervals. You could rob this place and they might figure it out days from now. Bring a flare gun for service, wow. PS: I saw Mr Ed here, he was running from the chef.

My biggest complaint about this place is they advertise call ahead seating but it is a SHAM. We called at 5:15PM on Sat. They said the wait was a half an hour –40 minutes. We arrived at 5:50. So we should have been promptly seated right? Nope. We stood in the lobby for ONEHOUR and ten minutes. That was in addition to our call ahead time of 35 minutes. The deal is that they aparantly have certain tables that are reserved for call ahead seating. We saw people who walked in — no call ahead — twenty minutes AFTER us get seated BEFORE us! What kind of restaurant does this? The food was in consequential after standing in heels for an hour in the lobby so based on this experience, we would not return.

When I’m looking for a good place to grab a quick bite for lunch, and I’m craving a steak salad, this is my go to spot! Quick service, a fairly extensive menu, and a really good steak salad. I can’t speak to their other entrees, since I really like the steak salad, but maybe one day, I’ll try something new! The service is prompt and friendly, and they have a decent wine list.

I really like this place. The only problem is is that they always run out of prime rib every time that I get here. Maybe I should get her sooner. I have tried that and the prime rib isn’t ready. I would really like to continue to be a customer here.

Would not recommend. Service was good, but food was not. I went for lunch and ordered a burger. With just one bite, my hands were covered in grease. The burger itself was bland. Parmesan fries were good.

Went for lunch today… Food was good but what I saw after was horrible… Sitting next to a male employee… obviously having lunch… was outright disgusting… He not only brought the soup bowl to his mouth to finish the soup but cleaned the bowl with his fingers after… I thought that doing this in front of others was uncalled for… We were there around 2 p.m. Not going again…

Quick shopping trip to Enfield ended with a stop at Longhorn. Never again. From the hostess to the waitress to the food to the lack of cleanliness inside. Wow… just awful! The hostess was no where to be found upon arrival. No waitresses in sight. So we stood for an awkward five minutes waiting for a human to show up. When she did show, she struggled pulling out menus & finding a booth, mumbling our waitress would be out. The waitress appeared after giving us enough time to go through the whole menu & decide what we wanted. Brusque, disinterested & unwelcoming. They keep the lighting conveniently dim inside so it took awhile for my eyes to adjust & see how dirty the floor was. The booth seats were sticky. The menus were sticky. The table felt sticky. The food was average at best. Iceberg salad with wilted lettuce. Mashed potatoes that there’s no way were homemade… gross paste! Just plain bad chicken. Steak was good but a better one comes off my grill on any given night. $ 80 for three people. Cursed by another chain restaurant… damn.

Super yum! I had no clue and I am ashamed to admit that. Dare I say, this place could be better than Outback and I can’t wait to take my guy here. My girlfriend and I recently had dinner here on Saturday evening. We only waited 20 minutes and were seated at a table/booth in back. The menu has good options and a lot of them. Everything from pasta to steak, chicken to seafood. I was surprised that so much food was included in each meal for a decent price. We started with the Sam’s Oktoberfest Mussels — delish! Nicely toasted bread came with a huge bowl of beautifully steamed mussels in a spicy tomato broth. A great starter that wasn’t heavy. We had salads that came with our meals — again, crisp and fresh and a great portion size. My girlfriend got the smallest size Renigade sirloin with steamed broccoli. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken with loaded mashed potatoes. My favorite was digging into the potatoes and a pool of melted butter spilled out. Be still my cholesterol-ridden heart. I went with the lighter portion size and still took home leftovers. I suggest: Boisenberry Sangria! Holy Hannah this thing was giant and tasted scrumptious after the crap day I had. Our service was on point. Coley did a great job at handling about 5 tables including a large party of 12 next to us. Everyone was very friendly which only added to the spacious and brightly lit interior. Bomb diggity, this place is fresh. I can’t wait to return.

Went to Longhorn for the first time last weekend. Everything was excellent, the food, service and atmosphere. Left wondering why we hadn’t tried tried this place sooner! We will be going back for sure.

I am a local who dines out frequently… for Enfield, this is one of the top destinations. If you are traveling through town, this is where you want to be. It is close to all the hotels, and there are always other travelers coming through to strike up a conversation with(if you’re in the bar). To be fair, it is a publicly held, corporate owned site, so as a local you will experience some of the corporate B.S. — but it is what it is. Nonetheless, if you are a local or a visitor, the staff will quickly get to know you and make you feel at home. The ambiance is beautiful, fresh and new. Being a steakhouse, there is a ‘cattle’ theme which I am indifferent to, but they do specialize in steak so what else should I truly expect? Most of my meals have been excellent the first time around. There have been a couple times where I or my guest have had bad meals, but it was always rectified quickly and satisfactorily. My favorites are the flat iron(best value) or the prime rib(best taste). Although I am a steak lover, I have honestly avoided the filet mignon — there are always new dishes that add toppings to it. For me, that is just wrong — a good filet needs nothing more than a little salt and pepper. In a nutshell, LONGHORNIS A SOLIDBET. The ambiance will not disappoint — always clean and enticing. The service is great — although I am more partial to 2 particular employees — all are very cordial, friendly, and accommodating. Most importantly, the food is delicious. I would totally avoid the pretzel sticks(they are fried in oil and just greasy) but everything else I have had is a solid choice. My biggest complaint is their lack of WiFi when I have work to do. I have spoken to the manager, and they have made a conscientious choice not to pursue that route for security concerns. I understand(and respect) that… but using my iPhone as a hotspot sucks. If they had a local cable connection, I could login accordingly. I think this could be a turnoff for other business people — especially when some of their competitors offer it.

This place is great! The décor is all western(what girl doesn’t love Cowboys??), food is really good, and the waitstaff is really nice. You get honey bread to start which is always a nice filler. GREAT happy hour choices — I recommend the spicy chicken bites, and a Broad Brook Brown Ale. The salad that came with my meal was pretty big. And my meal — portabella sirloin w/broccoli was delicious! Will definitely be back.

This place is one of my two favorite steak places in CT(the other being Texas Roadhouse). My boyfriend and I came here with some of our friends a few weeks ago and, yes, I’m a fan. The wait was ridiculous(over an hour) but we could drink in the bar while we waited, so I got some sort of hard tea mixed drink that was really good. Their drinks are very good– proper amount of liquor to mix, not too soft or strong. We got a few appetizers– the calamari, which is fairly good. It’s battered and fried, but then tossed in this sweet chili glaze, which kind of soggies the breading and is a bit too much on the spicy side, just a touch. They’re good but probably would be better with the glaze on the side– worth a shot to ask! The other thing we got was the Spinach and Artichoke Dip– would forgo. However, the other appetizer we got, I could easily eat 1000 of. The corn fritters. If i didn’t care how I looked, that my pants fit, I would eat them… forever. They are so light and fluffy, the corn and nice bite of freshness, and crispy fried on the outside with a great little creamy dipping sauce on the side– ugh. I could go on and on. I love them. I am in love with them. The steak was really delicious too, which is always a plus. Cooked exactly to the right specifications, a good marble, and the rub, or the marinade, or whatever they do to it before they cook it really brings out the flavor. I was really impressed, and would say that I like the steak a step above the rest that I’ve had. I struggled with 4⁄5 or 5 rating because as a whole, there were some things that I didn’t like– however, when two of the things I got were some of the best I’ve EVER had, then yeah I guess you can make some mistakes ;)

Stopped in early evening before heading to Bradley Airport for a steak dinner. Filet cooked perfectly, crisp green beans not drowned in butter but still had flavor and a fresh salad all for $ 20. Ooo and the bartender accomodated my «pickiness» with my version of a skinny margarita!

The food… stick with the burgers. The steaks everyone ordered looked nothing like the menu pictures and the portions were pretty small. The service… keep an eye on your bill if you have more than 4 people. Maybe it was just my service person, but she tacked on a few things we didn’t order and then gave us them for ‘free’ but then didn’t take the items off the bill. I had to send the bill back twice and it still had one extra item on it that she claimed to have taken off . Also, she up charged a drink order above what I ordered… which I didn’t bother complaining about. The feeling I got was that she was just trying to take advantage of the large group and maybe hoped that nobody would notice? I hope not. I would have tipped 20%, but because of all the bs I went with 15%. The ambiance was very nice, but it’s a chain steakhouse that’s a little better than the Outback. It’s too bad, I really wanted to enjoy the place.

Had dinner here with co workers the other night. Parking — good. Long line — nope! Service all around — good. Food came out hot and in short time– check! All food was correct when served– well… I won’t hold it against them, I needed the broccoli anyway. It was a good meal. Come try it!

We were staying at the Hampton Inn so we decided to stop by for dinner. We went in at about 7pm on a Saturday night. Our wait for 2 would’ve been about 30 min, but we found a table at the bar and opted to eat there. Our server was prompt and friendly. I ordered Flo’s Fillet(8oz for $ 23) and my other half had the Ribeye(18oz for $ 25). We were also having a couple beers and drinks. The steaks were excellent! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sides were so-so(baked potato, broccoli, and asparagus). The Montana Mule is definitely worth a shot of you enjoy bourbon. We payed a little extra to take the stainless steel mug home!

Disappointing, as I have usually enjoyed longhorn. Went for happy hour and had dinner. Girlfriend was happy with her pour of wine, my mojito tasted like syrup and had no alcohol in it. Went with beer after. Fair price of happy hour pint s, but the selection is slim. Tried the Jalepeno popper app. Good presentation, but poppers tasted like any you would bake in your oven. Upgraded to the wedge salad. No wedge came but instead a heap of romaine? With black rotten lettuce. Gross. Steaks were fine. May return but in no hurry.
