Been here twice now. The first time we both had the Huevos Garcia. Fantastic! Quality ingredients, the eggs, potatoes, and green chile were all great. Once I have a great dish at a restaurant I am always tempted to get it again, but I’m glad that we tried different dishes the second time we ate there. I had the chile rellenos and eggs and it was one of the best breakfasts I ever had. The wife had the Mazatlan breakfast burrito and while she is not normally a big breakfast burrito fan, she loved it. Large portion so we brought the leftovers home and I ate it the next day. Still delicious even after being nuked. We plan on being regulars.

Favorite breakfast spot, been here four times in two weeks. Everything I have had here is delicious, but you have to try a piece of there pistachio cream pie. Friendly and fast service, great vibe.

My guy and I visited here last Sunday and it was packed! This is a loveable local spot with great service and a huge menu. The noise level is HIGH and it feels like a pretty diner upon entry. The atmosphere is pretty good, although it is a little odd that to be put on a wait list or find a host you have to go to the back of the restaurant. It seems like it creates more chaos and movement in an already loud, busy environment. Our server did a great job of being attentive and friendly. Our water glasses were full the whole time and I really appreciated the pace of the meal since we wanted to just get in, get food, and get out to enjoy the day. I had the Mazatlan burrito and it was outstanding, although it had no veggies so I had to request some. The prices here are very reasonable for a quick good breakfast or lunch. I think we will likely be regulars for mornings I don’t feel like cooking, there is still so much of the menu to still explore.

I love a simple diner… the clay mugs of coffee, surly wait staff, slightly greasy potatoes… you name it I love it! This spot delivers for those who like to keep it simple and of course by that I mean a big breakfast with an option for green chili smothering everything. Loved it and expect to return soon! Muah!

So I got a set of breakfast tacos with no Pico or cheese. Then, when the food got to my table the first thing I see is 3 tacos with Pico and cheese! I asked for it to get re-made and the woman left then came back asking me if my food was good. I asked again and she left again so I just picked out the Pico and cheese and I found a hair about 3 inches long. I don’t have hair so I told the waitress and she argued with me that no one there has blonde hair, although st he had the blondest blonde I’ve ever seen. Also the egg whites that I got were cold like ice water, and the«hash browns» were raw as if they cut the potatoe and just put it on the plate no boil even! Finally the coffee I got had been sitting there for like a half hour and was cold so I just moved it to the side. Terrible food, service, and half hour coffee. Never going there again, you shouldn’t eather.

NIce little neighborhood diner. I had a reuben — never had one better, and I’ve had a lot. Staff was friendly and attentive but not a nuisance. Décor is simple but evocative of that sort of era, nothing flashy or too nice but clean and comfortable. Definitely will come back again!

The banana crème pie is home made and gave me a taste-gasm!!! I love banana crème pie and other diners out of the box pie just doesn’t compare. I love their coffee but would prefer they didn’t put the cup upside down on the table. They have great hash browns that I would describe as home style(not the stringy ones at other crummy diners) I love the service here and will continue to come back for the home made crème pies, fresh coffee and perfectly prepared thick bacon that’s never limp. P. s. I recently discovered why the pies are so good. They are home made by the owners mom. That’s right a real life little old lady makes the desserts from scratch in her own kitchen at home… maybe I should keep this information to myself… ;)

Great food and friendly environment. The facility was clean and well attended to. The staff was incredibly friendly. I had the bacon and eggs and it was delightful. Would definitely go again when I visit the Denver Metro Area.

This is one of our favorite breakfast spots. Try the breakfast tacos — the freshly made pico is fabulous. Nice people, good service, great prices and the new location is really nice.

Tried BQ based on the reviews. Service was excellent, aside from the wait before being seated. The green chile was a complete disappointment!

Came here based on the reviews… And the whole family was not disappointed!!! When we went in there were lots of people. Looked like a lot of locals :) Our Waitress was really nice. Also, love that they have art as décor(all for sale too!) It was super busy, but I tell you it’s totally worth the wait! The kids breakfast at $ 5 each were huge and delicious! The kids loved the pancakes and hashbrowns. They seemed to like the bacon too! My hubby got eggs, ham, hashbrowns, and the pancakes. He couldn’t stop raving about the pancakes. Okay, so for my meal I ordered the Hashinator with a side of sourdough toast. Wow! Double WOW! The slices of CornedBeef over Hashbrowns with Bellpeppers & Onions. Wow! My hubby had a taste and said he would order that next time! The meals are super big, so we all took our leftovers to go. I was so excited to eat it again for lunch! Okay, so really… This is probably going to be our«Go-To Breakfast Place»! Go here for awesome food & awesome vibes! :)

Food: 7⁄10 Service: 9⁄10 Atmosphere: 8⁄10 Alright so we hit this place up the morning of the 4th so it was naturally busy. We anchored at the bar and were immediately served waters and menus. The server gave a little bit of an attitude as she appeared to be frustrated with her fellow wait staff, but quickly changed that around after she realized we weren’t going to be a pain in her ass. The back bar area seems to be poorly organized with minimal room. This means you get a show when there are 4 servers and bussers fighting over a small soda machine and coffee refills. The atmosphere was cool. Apparently this place underwent a huge renovation. Compared to previous pictures, I like it much better. They have a huge mirror running along the north wall which makes it feel huge, when in reality, it’s pretty cozy. The food took a little longer with the volume of orders that we’re pumping through, but still came out hot and delicious. I had the mega breakfast, I think? Maybe too many carbs as there were biscuits and gravy, a hefty side of hash browns, and toast. The Fiancé got the eggs Benedict and scruffed it all down. Anyway, good place to check out some of the Englewood locals and gorge down on some home-style cooking.

It’s such a cute diner! You can tell it’s a diner where people come to build relationships and for the food. The employees are so nice! The food portions are very generous, and the prices are low, so it definitely won’t break the bank. The hash browns are alright, but all the other food is great! The crepes were fantastic, and the eggs are cooked very well.

I’ll admit that I’m an odd bird but I like to explore parts of a town that the local Chamber of Commerce may not highlight. On a Saturday, I took the #11 bus west through the very pretty Washington Park area until I got to Broadway. Then, I switched to the 0 bus heading south towards Englewood with a goal of eating breakfast here — found via the Unilocal app, of course. The bus may not sound very glamorous(it isn’t) but it is a good way of seeing what the locals see. The light rail is also good but you really only rush by in that method. The bus will allow a solid soaking of the streetscape; of course, this soaking could be bad but let’s try to be positive, okay? Carrying on, the neighborhood is made up of a classic commercial shopping district, which is a rarity nowadays. I passed a brick Post Office, a thrift store, some other shops, a modern strip shopping center, and arrived at this cute clean eatery. There are entrances from the rear parking lot and one from the Broadway side; the street door wouldn’t lead you to believe that the place was as big as it is but this was a happy surprise. The interior is airy and the vibe is a pleasant morning mix, perfect for an easy start to the day. I sidled up to the counter and grabbed an open stool next to an older gentleman, whose meal was clearly in progress. Jackie greeted me as if I lived in the neighborhood and offered a menu. I surrendered to the Mass Confusion(two biscuits, gravy, topped with crumbled bacon, and a side of hash browns: $ 8) after dallying a bit over other choices. Plus, as a child of the South, who couldn’t resist biscuits with gravy? The meal was delicious and filling enough since I wanted to explore further down the street after this. If you ever wanted to lure someone to open a chat with you, I’ve figured out a sure-fire way: open up a bus schedule at the table. Since I didn’t want to deplete my iPhone battery(curses to Steve Jobs) so early in the day, I opened up the paper route schedule that I got on the Broadway bus. The older gentleman noticed and asked if I had taken the bus to get to the Breakfast Queen(why, yes I did). And, so a nice 5-minute chat began over his history and that of the neighborhood. In the vein of «Steel Magnolias», I can report that Broadway farther south of here is definitely NOT glamorous lined with used car lots and other mundane hardscrabble businesses. I turned back and headed into town after a bit since I’d seen enough. But, the Breakfast Queen II is worth a repeat visit. * Oh, just because I’m gay doesn’t mean I picked this out because it had«Queen» in its name. Far be it for you to think that but I thought I’d clear that up. Uh huh.

Definitely a local joint where regulars get greeted by first name. I don’t live around here but breakfast queen makes me want to. It’s in a cool neighborhood surrounded by all sorts of other establishments. I got the double pancakes with chocolate chips and they were perfect. I liked how fluffy and massive they were. Full marks I wanted to sit outside with my dog so they opened the patio. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone was upbeat and wore a smile. My grandma would whole heartedly approve of this place. So therefore I do to! Especially because the attitude completed the experience. Thanks breakfast queen you da bomb.

Granted we showed up for breakfast at 1030 on a Sunday morning, but they didn’t seem to be completely on their game. We waited a half hour for a table and once we ordered it was another 20 plus minutes for our food. They have terrible coffee. My breakfast was delicious. I had the country fried steak skillet and my husbands burger with a fried egg was also quite delicious. The pancake I shared with my friend was a standard diner pancake. Our waitress was a little high strung and on edge. Overall it was a decent breakfast. I like the old place better.

I love these traditional greasy spoon places. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was exactly as it should be, homey and diner ish. I love comfy booths with melamine tables. It feels so familiar and middle american. I had the breakfast burrito. the Green chile is yummy and spicey, I am not sure they were really using chorizo, but I thought it was just sausage. The hash browns were perfect and the eggs inside the burrito were just ok. The food was not gourmet, it was as it should be: good, cheap breakfast eats. We will be back.

I don’t know how to start. I am unsatisfactory with the food. I believe the water for cooking is not filtered. My beans, chilli sauce, coffee and pancakes was horrendous. The place is PACKED with Caucasian people. What am I doing wrong? Did I get a different treatment? Did I order wrong? I am lost and disbelief on again how packed with people coming to eat. I’m hurting to believe this place is any close to 3 stars. Pork chops and potatoes was good(not cooked in water) No credit cards accepted, ATM charges $ 2.95. Won’t be coming back, my total bill $ 30
