Wow talk about delicious fried chicken! My coworker surprised me the other day with a 3 piece leg meal along with some shoestring fries, the chicken was juicy and absolutely delicious and the fries were nice and crisp. The only that could of brought this chicken to another level would of been if I had some honey to drizzle on top of the crunchy skin. I’m also not a big fan of rolls but this one was quite tasty and worth the carbohydrates. I will definitely be a regular here from now on!

For fast food, it is excellent. But the manager and workers suck! That is a cultural problem, most are Pakistanis, Afghans and Arabs. They do not understand how to treat customers.

Kennedy fried chicken is my go too spot whenever I want something cheap and don’t really want Popeyes! They are open 7 days a week and their hours are until pretty late considering its in Bergen County. I usually get the 3 piece chicken and some fries for just $ 5 and some change not to bad! Thanks Kennedy your food is

All food is Halal, and the staff speaks some language to which that is pertinent… I wanted jumbo shrimp, but the staff could not understand me when I asked if the«Shrimp Basket» came with those. I got it only to find out that it was popcorn shrimp. Please, do not misunderstand, the staff was friendly and polite. This was just a language barrier. They did understand that I wanted to substitute potato wedges for the fries that usually come with that, and did that for me. White gringos like me usually eat«cocktail sauce» with shrimp. When I asked for that, the gentleman at the counter did not have a clue. He did put both tarter sauce and hot sauce in my bag, plus ketchup for the potatoes. I am not a popcorn shrimp fan, but those were tasty, nonetheless. The potato wedges were coated like seasoned fries, and can only be described as fry-gasmic! The slaw is creamy, but has just enough tang to do its job of balancing the greasiness of the fried food. I will definitely be going back.

Note: Rating is comparing it to other fast food chicken places. I love this place! It has not changed since I last got take out food from here 10 years ago! Don’t get me wrong, it’s fast food, so don’t go in w/gourmet expectations. The prices are great, they are open late, and the people are friendly. Burgers, Pizza egg rolls, Spinach egg rolls, hot wings, and of course the fried chicken are all things I get there. Parking can sometimes be a bit rough on Palisade Ave, but there is a metered lot in the back. I just moved back to Englewood and I am so happy this place is still in business, especially since I am on a tight budget these days.

Not bad at all. I’ve had their fries/fried chicken/burgers, they’re roughly the same as any other Kennedy Fried Chicken chain, its nothing gourmet but its a solid B. They also have lamb and chicken platters, which are SOLIDLY worth the 5.50 they charge for salad+rice+lamb or chicken(or mixed for 6.50). Only other place I’ve seen that had platters for that cheap was Bakhtars in Queens, NY [which is about 100x better than this place and I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend it if you’re ever in the area, and even if you aren’t :) but that’s aside the point]. Worth it if you+your friend have around 10 bucks cash and want a quick bite.

These guys have been around for a very long time. Although it’s not that great, the chicken is still pretty satisfying and the guys attending are usually very friendly. Their hamburgers are very good. Of course, not something to eat every single day. Fast food for an extended amount of time is not good for you. However, my favorite part of it all is the fries. They beyond great, in my opinion.

okay… i probably have to give this place another try. i have only been there once… and we waited about 20 minutes before we could eat the fried chicken… so it probably wasn’t the full experience. i’ll give it another try and put up another update… but initial experience. ehhh… why? you ask? 1. i love variety in my food. though great chicken is important, i need great side(s) — at least 1 or preferably more. the sides here didn’t wow me. and i realized this place isn’t really known for their sides but the chicken. 2. chicken was good but i definitely think i had better. 3. confusing to order. the are so many signs and stuff everywhere… i wouldn’t know where to start. But fun facts: it’s halal chicken. their hot sauce is Chinese take out hot sauce with more viscosity. i wonder if Kennedy chicken in the city will be better. or if different stores are better … my ranking of fast food fried chickens: 1. Popeye’s 2. kfc 3. Kennedy i think next time i go… i’ll just get the3 piece chicken with ff.

I have done take-out here several times. I always get the chicken & lamb kabob combo meal with rice and salad which is served with awesome white sauce! I also like their fried chicken which way better than the Kentucky Fried Chicken. The prices are low, they are open late and your food is ready in 10 mins to pick up.

Walked in here with several friends last year and had one of most horrible experiences ever. Kennedy Fried Chicken, as the name says, serves Fried Chicken as well as other sandwiches with fries. People that come here love the prices they sell their foods. In this case, you do get what you pay for. bbq rib sandwich on a hero. After waiting 10 minutes or so, my sandwich was served. I took a bite, it was completely burnt(to a point where you couldn’t tell if the sandwich had meat or just charcoal). The sandwich was hard like I was chewing on cardboard. So my friend takes my sandwich and asked nicely to make the sandwich again because it was burnt ot a crisp. Their attitude was«This is what you get and that’s it». It was one of my first times that I got up, threw the sandwich out and walked out. This is only my personal experience at the place, but they will not be getting my business ever again.
