I’m so disappointed. I ordered a premium centerpiece for my parents for Christmas. The first delivery was completely wrong– a cheap glass vase with a couple of carnations, a couple of roses, and plastic squirrels. The second one was designed correctly, but again had few flowers, far different from the expensive, luxurious centerpiece that was pictured. Find another florist if you want a lush gift of floral beauty.

Cindy was so patient when I ordered flowers for next day delivery. She understood the type of arrangement I wanted and offered suggestions. The price was right and delivery was as requested. My daughter was so pleased that she took a picture and posted it on facebook. Thank you!

I live in Cherokee, Iowa and we phoned Stevens the Florist last year for Mother’s Day. We selected them pretty much at random just because they are in Englewood. I was planning on phoning Stevens again this year, May, 2013, and then I found this website with the reviews. So I decided to write a review on my experience from last year. The phone experience was handled by a young woman who was very patient and helpful. She assured us that we would get a nice flower arrangement for our price range, which was around $ 50. We received a call from our stepmom on Mother’s Day expressing how nice the flowers were. I didn’t see them myself, but my father said they were beautiful. My wife said I went on and on about our stepmom to the lady on the phone, which I tend to do and I must’ve kept them on the phone for at least 10 minutes but the lady was very nice and didn’t rush me.

Extremely pleasant on the phone. I called in an order from Wisconsin and the lady was really helpful. She did not try to up sell me but rather expressed that my budget would provide a very beautiful arrangement and would be delivered this noon. I’ll come back and add about the flowers after I hear from the recipient.

I tried ordering flowers for mother’s today(regrettably, Fabulous Flowers went out of business a few months ago) and the woman who answered was SORUDE that I cut the call short and instead, ordered from Ann’s Flowers. I’m in Chicago but my parents are in Englewood. I hope Ann’s does a good job with my $ 75 order because I will NEVER order from this place. I didn’t get the woman’s name who answered the phone, which is probably a good thing. I’m still fuming and would have gladly posted it here. As soon as our conversation started, I was having a difficult time hearing her(I’m sure she was speaking softly because our connection was fine) and had to ask her to repeat herself on almost every question she asked. She asked about an address and I didn’t know if she meant my billing address in Illinois or the delivery address in Florida. I asked her to clarify. She shouted her question into the phone and then snapped, «is THAT better?!» I was so shocked, all I could do was tell her that I’d call back later. Well, of course that didn’t happen; I decided on a little Unilocal Therapy, instead. It’s so nice to know that in this recession, Stevens the Florist is so flush with cash that not only do they not need new customers, but they can afford to rudely turn them away. Update: I called the business a few hours later to talk with the manager, and spoke to another woman who couldn’t have been more apologetic and professional. She explained that they had a few new people and was guessing that one of them had been the problem. She assured me that she would do some serious customer service training. I sincerely hope that happens.
