I was tasked with the responsibility of disposing of years and years (and more years) of confidential files, and did not know where to start. I called a few places that were rather picky about what they accepted and in what form. I randomly called XpressShred and spoke to Karen, who happily addressed all my concerns, offered a great price, was able to come short notice – and best of all; would take all of our items in folders, files, binders, etc… We did not have to sort anything or painstakingly remove clips, or metal! The super shredder truck literally ate all of our 270 bank boxes of files in a record two hours. I might add that we got a terrific price, also. Everyone at this company was professional, friendly and helpful! Thank you Karen, Rebecca and Chris the driver. I highly recommend this company for all your shredding needs.

I was quite surprised by the ease of shredding a car full of documents. I was allowed to watch the documents being shred and the price was quite reasonable. Our home shredder would have certainly burned up! Thanks!

I’ve never had the need to shred a mass amount of paper but after a couple years of personal mail piling up (after identity theft concerns) and hating our home shredder we decided to take a chance on a bulk shredder.
We entered the front lobby and were greeted by a nice receptionist who asked right away if we’d like to watch the paper being shredded. It was really a nice that she asked because I wanted to watch but I wasn’t sure how to go about saying so.
She had us pull around the back of the building and the warehouse worker unloaded our boxes and weighed them. He made conversation while he dumped the mail into the chipper. It went up a conveyor and then down into a hopper that forms it into bales. Totally Mr Roger’s Neighborhood interesting!
The warehouse worker let us know about other services they offer (without any sort of hard sell) — they dispose of computers and monitors, shred CDs, and many other things!
All told I brought in 131 pounds of mail (!!!) and was out the door for only 32 bucks! We will definitely be going to see the folks at Xpres Shred again.
